Thank you all so very much. I had an amazing Birthday. Mark already knew about my "Spring Time Inspired French Birthday Cake", but for those who didn't. My mother had my caked designed with fleur-de-lis flowers alongside other colourful flowers with the lettering "Joyeux Anniversaire Shavon". The cake was beautiful. I didn't want to cut into it, but, I love sweets so, I dug right in! I had a blast with my family and friends. This Birthday was by far the most memorable. Special Note:I know that I haven't posted in quite some time and that I haven't been around to make things for all of you, but there is a great explanation as to why. Lately, I have been getting my affairs in order so that I can continue my education and finish what I know that I have been put on this earth to do. I am going for my dreams and doing what makes me completely happy. Mark is fully aware of my dreams, my goals, and my passions. There is no greater passion than those that I possess for languages, people, cultures, and lands. It is no secret that I am completely in love with all that is French. The one thing that sets a fire ablaze inside of me is the French Language and France as a whole. The trip I took to France back in 1998 did something to me. When I was standing there on top of a building looking at La Tour Eiffel, It was like I was looking into my future. From the first moment I walked onto French soil I felt it was my home. I felt completely at ease, as If I had already been there. I felt a sense of belonging. My being there at that particular moment in time was no accident. I was there to discover and realize my future. That future has been realized. As I have stated above, I have been getting my affairs in order so that I can continue my education. That continuation will happen in France. Not only will France be the place of choice for my continuation of my education of the French Language and History, but It will become my permanent residence. I do not have the particular date as to when the big move will happen as I am still getting things in order for that, but If everything goes according to plan as it has been, the end of the year looks like it will be the beginning of my new life in Paris, France. I am very excited and not at all nervous. It has been a dream of mine for a very long time to be able to do this. My dreams have come to fruition. I am doing what makes me happy. And don't worry, I will of course continue to keep this board and the Tina Arena messageboard up and running. Changing lands will not effect the boards at all. I look forward to posting with all of you no matter where I am. Each of you have made this board very special. Thank you for your dedication. Sincerely, Shavon
