I think that is very true. What surprises me in a lot of conversations that I have with people is the wreckless disregard many have for the truth. So many people are far more willing to defend what they believe rather than get to the truth. Sometimes I think that this is why many people do not like to argue a point. They just want to believe what they believe, and they don't want anyone telling them otherwise. That is unfortunate, because a healthy exchange of ideas, a good argument, is great for all involved. Of course, I say that with the assumption that the arguing parties will engage with respect for one another. But, more and more we are living in a world that believes that everything is relative. Truth loses out in a world like that, or simply doesn't matter anymore. Good quote, Leona!
