Two things come to mind about this quote: (1) the Iraqi constitution that is being drawn up. I hear people saying that it needs to get finalized, and that the deadline has passed. Well, the only reason certain people are saying that is because they think that passing a constitution will bring American and other allied troops home sooner. The reality of it is, and the more important issue, is passing the right constitution. Otherwise we will have made no progress towards democracy in the Middle East at all. And the people of Iraq are long overdue for some freedom. Meeting a deadline will only serve to ensure that our troops were fighting in vain, and nobody wants that! Take a little longer, and do this thing right! (2) At work, in the position that I have just been promoted from (the receiving dock) I have been given much praise of late for doing a very good job of being thorough and consistantly error-free. I took my time and did the job right the first time, and didn't create headaches later for having to find mistakes. I didn't know that people thought this way of me until I got my promotion, when they showered me with compliments. But it fits the quote very well, and I will use it in my training for the person who is replacing me. Thanks!

I also like it because so much is made up of cures for different diseases. When people can do so much to prevent diseases, by taking care of themselves through exercise, eating healthy foods, and avoiding bad substances and circumstances.

You are absolutely correct! Sometimes my mind is so filled up with thoughts that the slightest little resemblence to anything will relate to something meaningful to me! Sorry if I took this topic off course from where you were trying to go with it!

No, I always find it interesting what other people think of these quotes. It's neat to hear what comes to other people's minds when they read them and what you've written is definitely related to the quote. Sometimes a few words can mean totally different things to different people and I like seeing what they mean to others.

Oh, okay...thanks for understanding. But to stay on subject, you make a point that is well worth posting for everyone to read. The best health- care is living well, in a health minded way, and taking care of one's self. Good point!
