Whether socially, or religiously, or politically, or anything else, I just think that you should let your very first thought be love. Last night on "Heartland with John Kasich" I saw Joyce Meyer interviewed. She was talking about the help they are giving to the victims of the recent hurricanes. Now, she's a world-wide teacher of the Christian faith, and very well known. One question that she got from a lot of people was, "What is it going to cost me?" (to accept your help.) People just assumed that because she was a Christian minister that she was going to expect them to listen to a sermon, or join a church group, or some other tactic to convert them to her way of believing. Joyce Meyer told them that they were just Christians who came to help and that it wasn't going to cost them anything at all! Then she went on to say that sometimes, most of the time, it is better to "show the love of God in your actions" rather than say with your mouth what mostly amounts to empty words. I wish this were more common in Christians today, but I was deeply struck by Joyce Meyer's example. She had the ability to "love many things" .........and as a result "accomplished much." Hey, I'm not even sure if this has anything to do with this quote, and I apologize if it has derailed it from its meaning! It was close to my heart, and I needed a place to share it!

Yeah, the quote makes me think a lot also of songs by Cindy Morgan, such as "Sweet Days Of Grace", "Reaching With His Love", "Love Can Break Your Fall", and "Someone Believes In You." Actually, the theme of the whole compilation that you sent me represents a real "love" and appreciation for the many blessings that we are surrounded with. It's a remarkably refreshing album! This is a good quote, Leona! Thanks for sharing.
