Lara had her concerts in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan this past week. As many have noted, it was Lara’s first ever concert in Uzbekistan, having cancelled a concert there in 2013 in protest over the politics surrounding it. As she explained, this time the organizer was not responsible for the discriminatory policies in the country.
There is considerable material associated with these shows, presented chronologically:
(1)For the first concert in Tashkent, Lara arriving (via the Lara Fabian Family FB site, of an Instagram ‘story’):

(2)As for the concert itself, video of the concert, available at

and a 30 min portion at

(thanks to the Lara Fabian America FB site for this link).
(3) Lara’s Instagram reel which is her “Throwback to the first show in Tashkent last night... Catch up with my crew ... what a happiness 🙏“, at
A very nice recap, with scenes from her arrival, greeting, rehearsal, preparation, appearance, performance, conclusion, and ‘thank you’.

See you tomorrow for the show”

What a pleasure to sing for you 🎤💕”
The recaps were very professionally done, and showed that Lara and her people had put a lot of thought towards how to summarize them properly in a brief manner.
The setlist for the shows (given because we haven’t reviewed it in some time), was as follows:
(1) Je m'arrêterai pas de t'aimer; (2) Alleluia; (3) Quebec medley (J'ai zappé / Leïla / Le jour où tu partiras / Qui pense à l'amour / Réveille-toi Brother); (4) J'y crois encore; (5) Si tu m'aimes; (6) La difference; (7) Pas sans toi; (8) Caruso; (9) I Will Love Again; (10) Je suis malade; (11) French medley (Aimer deja/Immortelle/Parce que tu pars); (12) Tu es mon autre (lead-in by Riverin Sisters and with a Maurane nod, including excerpt from her song Prelude de Bach); (13) Saisir le jour; (14) Humana; (15) Je t’aime
This was pretty much the same setlist as in France/Belgium late last year, and to a good extent, in Quebec last June (though apparently without Broken Vow or Tu t’en vas). Lara appeared quite beautiful in her white and red pants suits, and sang beautifully, as usual. She provided justification for singing La difference in these countries, saying “music and love will always win against violence and censorship” (e.g., www.youtube.com/shorts/MGV_hf-Q_vk). In Astana, Lara received such approval that it touched her deeply (e.g., www.youtube.com/shorts/VcOJWIv8yow). She spoke generally in English at all the concerts and they all seemed very well received; if there were any published reviews in these cities, they are not readily-available.
In other news, as noted by the Lara Fabian est ton autre FB site, an article at (https://mradio.fr/news/event/50246/florent-pagny-tf1-va-lui-consacrer-une-nouvelle-emission-florent-pagny-friends) discussed the program on which Lara will be singing a duet of “Et maintenant” with Florent Pagny (as reported in last week’s Update). According to the article, TF1 will dedicate a new show to Florent Pagny whose name will be "Florent Pagny & Friends". Florent Pagny invited his musician friends and singers to the Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt to review some of his greatest hits, a list which includes Zazie, Patrick Bruel, Amel Bent, Vianney, Pascal Obispo, Jenifer, Slimane, Carla Bruni, Claudio Capéo, Marc Lavoine, Anggun, Anne Sila, Patrick Fiori, Matt Pokora, Zazie, Lara Fabian, Calogero and Soprano. Note that Florent Pagny has been suffering from cancer, and he’s better, though not completely out of the woods. The show was recorded on June 20 and is to be broadcast soon. These duets will be on his next album.
An excerpt of Lara’s duet with him was posted on the Lara Fabian - L'étoile des anges FB site, apparently shot from the audience, and can be found at

From the way these concerts were discussed, it leaves the impression that Lara will have more as part of this “Best of World Tour 2023”. If so, none are yet on her schedule. Her responsibilities for the recordings for the new TF1 show may well determine when any more might be.
