A quiet week for Lara, publicly, and with no set agenda forthcoming, one wonders if this will become the norm. The big news is for an upcoming event: Lara will attend the Star Academy finale on the 26th (e.g., www.leblogtvnews.com/2022/11/polnareff-robbie-williams-lara-fabian-presents-lors-de-la-finale-de-star-academy-le-26-novembre-en-fin-de-soiree.html):

POLNAREFF, ROBBIE WILLIAMS, LARA FABIAN PRESENT DURING THE FINAL OF STAR ACADEMY ON NOVEMBER 26 AT THE END OF THE EVENING.
A gain of €100,000 and a contract for an album with the record company Sony Music Entertainment, for the winner of Star Academy.
Final on Saturday November 26 from 10 p.m. on TF1 (football in the first part of the evening).
Robbie Williams, sponsor of this 2022 season, will be alongside the students and will perform his greatest hits.
Several prestigious artists from the French scene will also be present to accompany the finalists, it is announced, including Michel Polnareff, Lara Fabian, Soprano, Christophe Maé, and even Nolwenn Leroy.

It is fair to say that ‘Twitter’ was all a-twitter when that news broke, with many people expressing their happiness at the prospect. Clearly Lara has not lost her appeal with the French audience.
That also indicates Lara is staying in Europe for the time being (and likely her family is as well).
In more Star Academie news, Lara’s song ‘Tu es mon autre’ was used as one of the three possibilities for duets by ‘couples’ candidates. It was chosen by Lea and Tiana, and also by Paola and Carla (https://d1softballnews.com/the-candidate-for-the-star-academy-acclaimed-by-the-public/; www.linternaute.com/musique/biographie/2669944-paola-pourquoi-la-candidate-de-la-star-academy-a-decu-les-telespectateurs/). The judges were not happy with either presentation, and the second couple was eliminated. Perhaps it’s a hard song to sing….
In somewhat the same vein, recently it was noted that Lara’s songs continue to be used by ice skaters, in that case, a Dutch skater, who wasn’t very successful. However, this past week, Lara’s version of “Je Suis Malade” helped Starr Andrews win a silver medal at the ISU Grand Prix in Mississauga, Ontario. In addition, she made history as the first Black U.S. figure skater to earn a Grand Prix medal since the series began in 1995.
Here's what she said about the choice of music ((https://girlsunited.essence.com/article/starr-andrews-grand-prix-medal/):
““When I first heard (“Je Suis Malade”), I was just scrolling on YouTube because I had trouble picking my programs this year,” Andrews told Team USA. “When I heard (Fabian) sing it live, I thought, ‘That’s incredible to be able to hold the notes like that.’ I thought it would be awesome in an arena and make a beautiful program.”
Another example of how wide-spread the familiarity with Lara’s music is becoming because of Youtube (and all the reaction videos).
A few more videos surfaced of Lara’s recent concerts, including from BorgnyTingstedt a 22 minute section of her concert in Tallinn, at
www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVWKBNsjECs&ab_channel=BorgnyTingstedt
and a high quality video of Lara singing Humana at one of her Paris concerts taken by Olivier Servranckx, at
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3MUAzwBvOU&ab_channel=OlivierServranckx
He has two others of equal high video quality, at www.youtube.com/user/Sunshinoli/videos.
For those who have had trouble finding Lara’s album “Every Woman in Me”, Music Evolution included the songs on youtube, at

Really a wonderful piano/voice album, that Lara didn’t seem to have enough confidence in to really publicize (even in Canada, despite using compositions from several famous Canadians).
As noted by the Lara Fabian est ton autre FB site, Arlette, the movie in which Lara appears in a secondary role, is now available in video on demand, as shown at
www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=664536408374497&set=pcb.664536461707825
which also includes a picture of Lara from the movie. Note the 'Apple Tv' listed is for Canada.
And that leads into further interesting photo(s)/video(s) of the week: also from the Lara Fabian est ton autre, FB site, a gorgeous picture of Lara at her current age,

[The picture received over 150 comments, highly approving].
Les anges de lara fabian posted an advertisement, but for the sake here, it’s a beautiful picture, at

and in the same vein, they have this

Finally, in this time when looking back seems to be the prime activity, a compendium of Lara’s Frequen Star appearances from 1998-2012, put together from various youtube videos, was linked to by the Lara Fabian America FB site, and is available at
www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=arKXCWj_BCg&fbclid=IwAR1vIAOeWRphHfI_CHWLmeMzgfPGSXJuVGFduS4K62PgXEHO1dQY80jG1cA&ab_channel=Give_ALWAYS_best
It includes some famous clips, with her father, with Rick Allison, with various hair colors… A nice remembrance.
How long Lara will be in Europe after the Star Academie show is unclear, but as long as she is there, the possibility for her to appear publicly for promotional purposes obviously exists. She will also have time to work with Pierre Yves Duchesne on their joint ‘school’ project for Belgium. [For those who want more of him, Les anges de lara fabian has the following video, www.facebook.com/100063674018327/videos/448990354012258]. Stay safe everybody.
