Lara’s upcoming European tour got renewed emphasis this past week. On her Instagram site, she left the following schedule for the (western) European portion of her tour,
with the comment, “See you soon on the road...
From September 29th in Charleroi
🎶🎵
I'm so excited to see you again and sing for you 🎤💕
Until we meet again, I wish you a beautiful summer and sunny vacations"
Notice that 6 of the 15 dates are already sold out.
This statement also had the implication that we wouldn’t hear from her again until after the summer…we’ll see if that proves true…
Another item that got ‘airplay’ this week was Lara’s interview with Patrice Belanger on ‘Sucre sale’ concerning cooking. An Instagram ‘reel’ of it can be found at
It was broadcast on TVA a week ago. Lara The Ring Fabian uploaded the video of it with English subtitles, at

Here are the main points:
------------------------------
**Lara cooked lunch for him. It was baby pasta, after the recipe used by her mother and grandmother, boiled for three minutes with added pecorino cheese, a beaten egg and butter.
**Because, as noted in her book, her mother was sick when Lara was born, she needed to cook something for Lara that was easy and that a few-month-old could digest. It’s remained Lara’s comfort food.
**Writing her book ('Je passe a table)' was a way of healing from some of her more challenging life events, but also a way of moving beyond them, as the recipes and sharing food give one a positive reason for living.
**The slow start to the Star Academie, with the ‘kids’ getting sick and shows postponed for a month, led to a certain sensitivity and fragility that they had to work twice as hard to overcome.
**Having the opportunity to act as a teacher on the show was one of the greatest gifts of her career and her life.
**After all the postponements of her European tour, Lara tells herself “it is finally happening”, and that it is a ‘’new beginning’, a new chapter.
**Her daughter Lou, now 14, is an “interesting animal”, an old soul, in many ways “better than” Lara.

In other news, the Lara Fabian America FB site (among others) referenced an article that Lara has put her home in Estrie (in the Bromont area) up for sale (https://www.awanireview.com/lara-fabian-sells-her-house-in-istere/?fbclid=IwAR3JpdBrkHy76pNv7kgRUsaXqEpOSFYtzyqQthrQIA8GGaq-0J7nAyHU6m0). Here’s what it says:
-----------------------------------------
Lara Fabian recently put her gorgeous home up for sale in the Bromont area, on the DuPpropo website.
This is a luxurious and elegant four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence, on two floors, with the addition of a separate gym, workshop and double garage. It is located on a huge plot of eight acres, including a private lake. It’s up for sale for nearly three million dollars.
See all the photos in the video above!
But don’t worry, the former director of the Star Académie has no intention of leaving Quebec. According to Junior Bombardier, her press officer, the singer will spend the next few months in Europe. She will spend time with her father first. She will also resume her tour, which was halted by the pandemic. About two dozen appointments, in France, Belgium, Hungary and Estonia, are planned on his schedule, including October 3 and 4 at Olympia in Paris. She must also ensure the promotion of her book and tales, Je passe à table, which is due to be released in Europe during the fall. However, Lara Fabian plans to find a new home, closer to Montreal, by the end of the year. Furthermore, his daughter Lou is still educated in Quebec. She will give her Zoom lessons at the beginning of the school year, before resuming the regular course once the young family returns.
--------------------------------------
That is a wonderful summary of Lara's future activities.
Lara has said numerous times that she is peripatetic by nature, always has to keep moving, or building extensions – probably as a result of her background in which her family kept traveling back and forth between Belgium and Sicily. It would seem exhausting to continually start over, but maybe this is just another aspect of her creativity.
The Lara Fabian est ton autre FB site noted that July 17th was Rick Allison’s birthday. Remember the hints some months ago that Rick might be collaborating with Lara once again? That still remains to be seen, but at the moment, there’s no further evidence of it.
Interesting photo(s) of the week:
Lara Fabian the Netherlands posted a beautiful set of pictures of Lara with Gabriel, at
www.facebook.com/LaraFabianTheNetherlands/photos/pcb.623787402499993/623782495833817/
It reminds us that Lara will be spending a few months this summer away from him (at least in part), on her trip with her daughter and father.
And this also reminds us to give another shout-out to those fan sites (including, in addition to Lara Fabian the Netherlands, Lara Fabian America, Lara je t’aime ) that continually post beautiful pictures of Lara for the various days of the week. If one is ‘down in the dumps’, looking at Lara, and the inherent life behind her eyes, is as good a ‘pick-me-up’ as one could find.
Lara (and all of us in the NH) are now fully embedded in summer – hope you can enjoy it, and stay healthy.
