A week with four concert appearances, and with one more scheduled for tonight, in a flash, Lara’s Quebec concerts will be over. She was in very good voice, and seemed enthusiastic to be back on stage, and back before this audience in Quebec.
Here is the setlist; there were just a few variations from night to night. The shows got progressively shorter in terms of the number of songs, as the newer titles were dropped out (at least according to www.setlist.fm/setlists/lara-fabian-7bd6d264.html and the available videos). (And note that not all songs were sung in full, especially for the medleys):
1. Je m'arrêterai pas de t'aimer
2. Alleluia
3. J'ai zappé / Leïla / Le jour où tu partiras / Qui pense à l'amour / Réveille-toi Brother
4. Tu t'en vas
5. J'y crois encore
6. Si tu m'aimes
7. La différence
8. Pas sans toi
9. Caruso
10. Papillon [only on the 14th and 15th]
11. Chameleon [only on the 14th]
12. I Will Love Again
13. Je suis malade
14. Par amour [only on the 14th and 15th]
15. Aimer deja/Immortelle/Tout/Parce que tu pars/
16. Tu es mon autre
17. Broken Vow
18. Saisir le jour
19. Humana
20. Je t’aime
21. Je me souviens
As one can see, it is heavily weighted to Lara’s big hits, with an additional emphasis on songs that she wrote and established in her first years in Quebec. Very little new material appears (only Par Amour, Papillon, Chameleon), none of this being a big surprise. The show is called, after all, “The Best of Lara Fabian World Tour”…Interestingly, Tout rejoined the setlist, in a manner of speaking - it was sung a little in the background in the medley, although Lara didn’t sing it. At the closing of Tu es mon autre, Lara dedicated that to Maurane. William Cloutier, the winner of the Star Academie last year, joined in to sing Pas sans toi with Lara on the 16th; Audrey-Louise Beauséjour, who was so unfairly ousted from the show this year, did the same on the 15th (Lara was true to her word!); and Geneviève Jodoin, the winner of La Voix in 2019, did so on the 14th. For the show in Three Rivers, Margau for whom Lara was a coach on The Voice in 2020 took that spot.
And true to her promise (or actually, even acceding it), Lara The Ring Fabian provided videos of all three shows in Montreal (as well as three of the favorites from Three Rivers), available on her youtube site at
www.youtube.com/channel/UCrU8ynwJtIdQ_jVg3ZN9kRA/videos
She even posted a single video of the whole second show, from the 15th (including Par Amour), at
www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO6twDUELbY
For the show on the 15th, she even included some English subtitles.
Therefore, in reading the following reviews, one doesn’t just have to imagine what Lara looked and sounded like.
Here is a review, for the show on the 14th, from the Journal de Montreal (https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2022/06/14/impressionnante-lara-fabian):
------------------------
Lara Fabian at the top of her game
We were promised The best of Lara Fabian. And that’s exactly what we got on Tuesday night. Because she is a singer of the highest order who has performed her greatest hits in front of an audience that is certainly satisfied
.
Expected, this reunion between Lara Fabian and her Montreal audience? Oh yeah. We have unequivocal proof of this.
No sooner had the singer hummed a few words than Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier began to vibrate loudly, cheering their idol. The tone was set.
Thunderous applause, “We love you Lara!" yelled at regular intervals, repeated ovations, shrill cries... The Montreal public did not hesitate for a single second to show their affection for the singer. In return, she lived up to each of these tokens of love.
IN VOICE
Let's say it bluntly: rarely have we heard a Lara Fabian as much in voice. It is in fact nothing less than a master class that she offered to a packed Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, multiplying the perilous vocal acrobatics in front of some 3000 fans clinging to her lips, very happy to open their memory box.
Because it is with a string of successes, like so many cornerstones of her vast repertoire, that the singer is currently criss-crossing the province.
ESSENTIALS
J’y crois encore, I Will Love Again, Saisir le jour, Je t’aime, La difference, Je suis malade … Lara Fabian has articulated her new tour around her greatest titles, creating suddenly a concert without dead time, visually sober and of great elegance, like the singer.
The highlight of the evening? A Caruso of incredible power that prompted the audience to jump up with barely the last note pushed
Special mention also to Geneviève Jodoin, who came to join Lara Fabian for an impeccable and emotionally rich Pas sans toi . It will be Audrey-Louise Beauséjour's turn on Wednesday evening to share the stage with Lara Fabian for a song, while William Cloutier will be there tomorrow.

And there’s this (https://lesartsze.com/lara-fabian-tournee-2022-une-etoile-radieuse/):

Lara Fabian “Tour 2022”: a radiant star!
The show "The Best of Lara Fabian" keeps its promises! The Belgian-Canadian singer-songwriter, adored by Quebecers, performs most of the key songs of her career there. A major figure in the Star Académie show, she remains inseparable from La Voix; she also invited two of her protégés, to the great delight of the warm audience that filled the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, on this Tuesday (June 14).
This eternal traveler comes on stage, a small suitcase in her hand, as if she were just passing through. She opens the ball with Je m’arrêterai pas de t’aimer which appeared on her very first album, recorded more than 30 years ago. The declaration of love is reciprocal. “We love you Lara!” cross the room.
Tu t’en vas, J’y crois encore, La différence, etc., the extent and the flexibility of the voice have something to impress! The admirers of the lady multiply the standing ovations. Several songs benefit from new vocal harmonies thanks to three choristers: The Riverin sisters . These move several times and contribute to the dynamism of the staging by Joël Legendre .
The musicians led by Manu Pitois recreate the original atmospheres of the rooms. We go from sentimental ballads to discotheque rhythms of the irresistible Papillon, Chameleon and I will love again. Fabian briefly recounts the time when she recorded an album in the United States, in 1999. At another time, she dedicates the song Caruso to her mother with emotion.
It is surprising, however, to see this experienced artist frequently looking at a screen to follow the lyrics of certain songs and even her presentation texts. Once again, in this show, she frequently covers one ear with her hand, as if she doesn't get along well. She moves several times backstage to take a few sips between songs. There is even a moment when a dead time sets in which raises concerns in the row where I am.
Among the highlights of the evening, there is the moving interpretation of Je suis malade, where The Riverin sisters bring a new dimension by emphasizing in chorus key passages from this classic by Serge Lama. We will also applaud wildly Geneviève Jodoin, who sings Pas sans toi with Lara. Recall that the Quebec singer-songwriter was crowned winner of the 2019 edition of La Voix .
As a reminder, there will be the essential Je t’aime. Then, the star picks up her small suitcase before leaving, interpreting Je me souviens which ends with "I don't forget anything and I'm coming back". No doubt, the globetrotter will always be welcome in Quebec. You can hear it in the thunderous applause of her moved audience!
In the first part, Félix Lemelin, candidate on Lara's team at La Voix in 2018, came to perform some of his songs, accompanied by guitarist Mathieu Labbé . The 25-year-old singer-songwriter said he met the love of his life at a very young age, having had the same girlfriend for nine years now. With his candor and his ballads, the artist made a good impression. However, almost 25 minutes passed between his short performance and the arrival of Lara Fabian on stage. The public was beginning to get impatient. We bet that this period will be shortened tonight...

And the article included a number of pictures of the concert, available directly at

Lara Fabian looked stunning in a glamorous suit at her tour premiere
Lara Fabian kicked off her new tour with a bang at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal on Tuesday night!
The singer looked radiant in a stunning black suit chosen by stylist Patrick Vimbor. Her hair and makeup were done by her faithful accomplices Dennis Voltan and Marco Marsolais .
Here are the magnificent portraits of the star captured behind the scenes by Bertrand Exertier:
-----------------------------------------------------
And this was followed by another set of pictures of Lara, mostly backstage, that she herself posted on her Instagram page after the first night, at
along with the caption:
-------------------------------------
“Thank you all for coming in such large numbers to meet me last night at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier in Montreal.
I wanted to express how happy I am to have finally found you 💕
Thank you for your welcome and all your love that I had missed so much 🙏
Tonight, we start again, and tomorrow too 🎤🎵 ... and then on the 18th in Trois-Rivières, to finish on the 21st in Quebec City ... before finding very quickly the roads of Belgium, Switzerland and France ...
I love you ... very much

Then after the second night, she posted this
with the caption, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this second evening ... what an immense privilege to be carried by you .... I love you. .L”
And…then after the third night, there was this”
along with “3 magical evenings !!!!!Thank you to my sublime team, I love you, THANK YOU TO THIS BEAUTIFUL PUBLIC AS LOVE
Then Lara added this:
writing, “My beautiful Lou filming me at the last show at Place des Arts ....Trois Rivières, I am on my way to you ....🙏🏻❤️
That’s a difference that these two and a half years have made: Lou is now capable of her own concerted actions…
Finally, after four of the concerts were over, Lara posted this:
which reads, “Until love mends us”. This is a proverb associated with Sandrine Fillassier, e.g., citation-celebre.leparisien.fr/plugin/citation/view/resource/public/img/beautiful-image/generic/205604.png

As noted, Lara looked and sounded great at the concert, and appeared to be in very good shape (the comment in one of the articles not withstanding). Lara’s trainer Josée Lavigueur weighed in, with a facebook post including pictures at
www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=568959994596034&set=pcb.568960927929274
She included the following statement: “Lara in all her splendor! What a show; what a voice! What a genuine, generous and generous artist... A pleasure to see you in such great shape on this stage! 1000 bravos
Thank you for the trust... Such a great honor to push you to exceed yourself 😛 You are a model of perseverance and determination”.
One doesn’t always appreciate the great expenditure of physical energy that performers give forth on stage, essentially like athletes, requiring them to be in top shape.

The setlist had many songs that Lara had sung in Quebec many years ago, and so it’s not clear how indicative it will be of her setlist in Europe. It’s probably unlikely that she would emphasize an aspect of her career that is fairly unknown to many of her potential audience members there. We’ll have to see if that means some of her newer songs will get some ‘air time’ when the tour resumes at the end of September.
Meanwhile, as was noted in one of the articles, Lara came on stage carrying a suitcase in her hand, and that was, in effect, more than just symbolic of the concert ‘tour’. We know that after tonight she will be leaving almost immediately with her daughter to join her father for an ~3 month vacation tour in Europe. It’s likely that news will be scarce, unless she desires to keep in touch with her audience. Stay safe, everybody.
