News of Lara’s new album continues to spread throughout the ‘music-sphere’, even though its release is still months away. An article appeared at (https://www.escxtra.com/2018/10/22/lara-fabian-papillon/?fbclid=IwAR366toNBtpg04RR_RhT8aSI4x2WG6C8wbkpdDQFM3hDrvGiXKAeAIpSuRY); here’s the copy (as this is a Eurovision publication, the article was in English):

Lara Fabian goes back to French music with “Papillon”
Singer teams up with Moh Denebi and Sharon Vaughn once more

One of the most successful singers to have taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest has released a new single. With her latest effort “Papillon”, Lara Fabian returns to French music – something she knows best.
Return to the chanson
Lara Fabian, now 48 years of age, is making a return to French music. Her last album, released in October 2017, was in English entirely. The album was the starting point for a more experimental style Fabian was about to try.
The leading single of the previous album, “Growing Wings”, fits in with her latest song. “Papillon” also aims for the mystery side of the Belgian singer, which lets her vocal abilities shine through.
Both for her last album as for the new one, Lara Fabian has teamed up with familiar names. Moh Denebi and Sharon Vaughn are, together with the singer herself, responsible for the entire Camouflage album, as well as “Papillon”.
Denebi and Vaughn are no strangers to the (Eurovision) music scene. Denebi has been credited as a producer for artists like Molly Sandén, Måns Zelmerlöw and Loreen. Sharon Vaughn on the other hand has had quite a few Melodifestivalen entries. Back in 2012, Jedward sang her song Waterline
New album in February
“Papillon” is the lead single for Lara Fabian’s new album, which will carry the same name as the song. It will be Lara’s fourteenth studio album and is set for release in February 2019.
Fabian is the most successful female Belgian artist of all time. She has sold over 20 million records since the start of her career, back in the 1980s. Born in a family with a Belgian father and a Sicilian mother, the singer was invited to represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988. Her song “Croire” finished in fourth place at the contest famously won by Céline Dion.

Meanwhile Lara has time for recreation (if that what it was): on her Instagram account, she published a picture of herself in her husband along with another couple in a helicopter, at
The (translated) accompanying caption read: “A helicopter tour with Alain Carrier
And Marie Chantal, his wife! My husband to the angels!!!”
And she has time to appreciate nature ; again on Instagram, at:

And George Perris’ appearance with Lara did not go unnoticed in the Greek press. Here’s a (google-translated) article (from www.museekart.com/archives/8935?fbclid=IwAR1l8Xf4v-xlYmM4KP-FRCRNhIL5av3gQQzm27eoA_GrAsupxIuBezzax-g):

George Perris honored at Lara Fabian’s concerts in Canada!
With standing ovation, George Perris enjoyed the audience at the last three concerts of the Lara Fabian World Tour in Canada!
Superstar Lara Fabian, a favorite of the Greek audience, who put her on her two sold out concerts last spring in Athens, invited George Perris to the stage in her last 3 concerts on her world tour.
About 12,000 spectators attended the appearance of George Perris at the side of Lara Fabian at Theatre St. Denis in Montreal and Center Videotron in Quebec. The two performers, who are connected by a deep friendship, sang together one of the biggest hits of Fabian’s career, «Tu es mon autre» , duo she had done with the legendary singer Maurane, who departed suddenly from life last May.
Presenting George Perris to the audience, the great singer first spoke of Maurane and then to the importance of George for her life: "When I lost Maurane, who was like my great sister, I wondered how I could sing this song again without her. Tonight, the best of the joy of singing it with a very great Greek singer, but mostly with someone I consider to be my real brother.”
Before leaving the stage, George Perris also sang " Broken Vow", a song written by Fabian herself, which both artists have sung and included in their recordings. In the context of her tour, the leading French singer interpreted some of her classic successes such as "Je t'aime", "Je suis malade", "Adagio" [N.B. not really] and the brand new song "Papillon" from her upcoming album.
------------------------------------------------------------------
There is also some activity concerning ‘Camouflage’. ‘Med Jay Paris’, who is an audio-visual expert, has placed three “Official Visual Videos” on youtube associated with Camouflage songs. They are exceptionally well done and can be found at:
Communify: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxqwAihhdrI
If I Let You Love Me: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sKkHwsK-WA
Keep the Animals Away: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUgB9895EAo
In the ‘Licensed to Youtube by’ section for all three videos it is written “The Orchard Music, Believe Music, HAAWK for a 3rd Party (on behalf of 9 Productions); BMG Rights Management, CMRRA, SODRAC, and 1 Music Rights Societies”. It does therefore seem as if Lara’s production company licensed it to his to produce these videos. Again, very well done.
In other news, Lara has not forgotten about her support for L’AICOM, the International School for Musical Comedy, run by Pierre-Yves Duchesne, and for which she is the ‘godmother’. She offered the following video:
www.facebook.com/742934952581301/videos/350219225724736/
in support of their production of “Clemenceau Le Musical” which will be performed November 10 and 11 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. As noted previously, Lara has said she plans to open a school for music, and she mentioned both Belgium and Quebec. If she does indeed open it in Belgium, presumably it would coordinate its program with that of L’AICOM; although their agendas are not the same, there would appear to be significant overlap.
Interesting photo of the week:
Lara posted this today on her FB site,
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/a.215378125170359/2365438256830991/?type=3&theater
with the caption, “Happy Halloween!”.
And we offer that sentiment back to Lara, and to you as well.
A few days ago, Lara posted one additional photo on Instagram, and also on her FB site,
with the caption, “En route for a weekend in the countryside”. It seems as if this is a relaxing time for her and her family, with what seem like many more treats than tricks. May that continue to be true for her, and for all of us!
