Lara gave most of her remaining concerts for the Camouflage album this past week, two in Prague and one in Paris.
Lara’s trip to Prague was in between the highly emotional concerts in the ‘home’ towns of her chief francophone fans, Brussels and Paris. Her performances of her standard French hits were (to me) a bit more workmanlike, and she actually forgot the words to Adagio, although she sang it well. The following videos are available:
Prague 6-14-18
Adagio: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9dB6CbT-VQ*

Nevertheless, people seemed to enjoy the performance. The Lara Fabian Greece site had some very nice photos, at

Then it was on to Paris, where there was actually one of the few promos for the concert, in the form of a positive report about the concert in Brussels. Placed on the 1300 hour news on TF1, the video can be seen at:

Despite Lara's general absence from the media in that country for most of the last year, the audience was quite healthy, with estimates of 4000-4500 people.
There are a number of videos from the Paris show, of varying quality (here we also indicate those which have excellent video but whose sound is less perfect, shown with two asterisks),

Afterwards Lara posted the following video showing the large crowd
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/videos/2100423739999112/
with the following (translated) comment, “Thank you Paris, for this unforgettable evening.. I love you…see you very soon!”
The concert got wonderful reviews from the audience, even those who had been a bit skeptical coming in; the only occasional complaint had to do with the sound system (bass being too loud). She sang 21 songs, in a concert of almost 2 hours, and people felt she was in top voice. ‘Pas sans toi’, with people singing along, and ‘Broken Vow’ were just two of the highlights. The ‘complete concert’ linked to above is really exceptional, and could function in lieu of a DVD.
But speaking of that…the Lara Fabian Web FB site had the following link to NEP Belgium
www.facebook.com/nepbelgium/photos/a.707843149239231.1073741829.667989176557962/1813010218722513/?type=3&theater
with the caption, “Thank you to NEP studios Belgium for sharing”. NEP studios is a Broadcasting & Media Production Company, an Audio Visual Equipment Store, and a Movie/Television Studio, with Television and video facilities / multicamera / camera crews / postproduction. One can rationalize their working at Lara’s concerts (in Brussels and Paris) because of the big screens showing her to the large audience. But one wonders, given their expertise, whether they could also be used for recording a DVD of one or both of those concerts. This is obviously a (very optimistic) speculation…in fact, the ‘Lara Fabian es ton autre’ site explicitly stated there will be no DVD (though it’s not clear how they know).
A number of the commentators in France have discussed the Paris show as the ‘last one of the Camouflage World Tour’. When asked about this (given the still existing concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil), Lara’s team said that they have never referred to it this way [or at least not since the original schedule was posted, when it was…]. It was also referred to as "the last show in Europe"; of course if the concerts in Germany can be resurrected, then even that is not true…
A poster for the show in Brazil can be seen at,

with the accompanying caption, “A great voice! The Diva Lara Fabian in unique presentation in Brazil.
day 28 / September at Espaço das Américas.
Don't miss this great show!”
Finally, a few remaining high quality (*) videos from the concert in Brussels:
Brussels 6-9
Adagio: www.youtube.com/watch?v=noagRUVzFI8*
I Will Love Again: www.youtube.com/watch?v=avcbN3Q0HlE*
In other news, the Lara Fabian Greece site had a link to a video of Lara supporting the ‘Gay Pride’ festival in Zurich, at:
www.facebook.com/larafabiangreece/videos/964378100353950/
As they explained, “bring6” is referring to the fact that every person who participates in the Pride should bring along 6 of their friends and family members to share the message of love and equality, to fight against discrimination and for the rights of the LGBT+ community.
Interesting photo(s) of the week: from Lara’s Instagram site,

And from Lara Fabian Mexico, a beautiful flashback,

Well, if the German concerts are not resurrected, this does it for the Camouflage World Tour except for the Sao Paulo performance at the end of September. As a farewell to this wonderful show, we can join the applause, as Lara and her co-performers take a bow (from the Paris concert),

Another pre-listening session was held this past week, this time in Paris, and it is a preview of what would seem to occupy Lara during the summer, finalizing the next French album. Decisions will have to be made concerning the fall – when to release it, which should be the single(s), what will happen with subsequent touring (probably spring 2019), and of course, what about La Voix and Quebec in general. ‘Tout le monde aime” will eventually be broadcast, and that’s something to look forward to. Otherwise it will be interesting to see if Lara can continue to be in the public eye, either in Quebec or elsewhere.
