Lara recorded the TV show which last week was dedicated to her, “Tout le monde aime” with Sonia Benezra this past Wednesday. Although the broadcast date for the program is yet to be released, we have some information concerning what took place. Of particular interest is that it was arranged, as a surprise for Lara, to have a choral group and the audience sing a modified version of “Je t’aime” to her; a partial video of that can be seen at:
The modifications had to do with making it their personal story about Lara, how it was a long time that they had waited to reclaim her, she had traveled the seas, to France, where they couldn’t share her, and now she has returned, etc. Sounds like it was very well done! [And after that, how could Lara ever leave again?)
And when it came time for her to sing it, a short extract of that can be found at:
An additional extract, of Lara singing “Chameleon” can be found at

And a short segment of Immortelle is available,

Lara also sang a duet with Julie St. Pierre; an article about it can be found at (

Julie St-Pierre and Lara Fabian in duo on Sonia Benezra's show
Although we do not know yet when the new appointment is of Sonia Benezra on TVA , ‘Tout le monde aime”, will finally land [air], we are already starting to have a taste! We've known for a long time that Lara Fabian would be one of the artists in the spotlight in this new concept that will celebrate the journey and legacy of each guest in a party to which they will also contribute, but we must admit that is still far from knowing all the surprises that await us: Julie St-Pierre will have truly realized a dream by singing in duet with the fabulous coach of La Voix !
The host and singer, who was discovered in the first edition of Mixmania , shared an adorable shot taken with her idol on her social networks, following the recording of the show: "One day I'm going to get to it! Life is really good. I realized my little girl dream by singing with Lara Fabian on the show ‘Tout le monde aime’. And what's even more beautiful is that I love her even more after spending the day with her. Grazie tantissimo cara Lara. "

On tap are Lara concerts in Brussels (later this week), then in Prague and finally in Paris. You may have noticed that additional, “prime category” seats have now been released to the public for the Paris show. This is not necessarily good news, professionally, for Lara (though it is for the fans). Usually those seats are reserved for industry professionals or media people; the fact that they’ve gone unused, is perhaps a commentary on the interest in that quarter for this upcoming, primarily English language concert from someone who is now living in Quebec (and therefore, has not been around to promote it). Quite a difference from “Tout le monde aime” in 'La Belle Province'. Similarly, tickets are still available for the concert in Brussels, as noted by Lara’s people on her Twitter account,
To emphasize that visibility will not be a problem in the big halls of Forest National and the Zenith, Lara’s team mentioned that at both “there will be big side screens” (and this will be true at all future concerts of hers in large venues).
Speaking of the Paris concert, it was announced that “a limited edition (only 1000 LP’s) of the album “Camouflage” in VINYL format will be available at the concerts in Brussels and Paris. This is the first and only album of Lara in Vinyl format.” It will have the same cover as the CD, which will probably look quite nice in that big format.
As for the Prague concerts, there is a very short, coy video of Lara serving as a promotion feature; it can be seen at:

Last week it was made known that Lara would have pre-listening sessions for the new French language album, and it would take place ‘soon’. Odacity released the following statements that indicated that it is indeed upcoming quickly (at least the first two). Concerning the event in Brussels, they wrote, “The session will be held on June 9 at 11 pm in the studios of Bel RTL". And as for Paris, “The selection to participate in the pre-listening session of Lara Fabian's next album in Paris (June 16) is now closed. The selected people will be informed on Monday during the day. We thank everyone who has contacted us to participate.” One therefore continues to estimate that the album will appear in the fall, or at least before the New Year. That might imply Lara could include a new song in her October concerts in Quebec, especially if there is a single – although it’s doubtful that one would be released in the summer, and June is already here, so it too will probably wait until the fall. Lara's team has been very silent about all this. To some extent, the timing and perhaps everything else may revolve around whether Lara will be in next year’s La Voix.

This coming Saturday, Lara returns for the first time professionally to her francophone community in Europe since moving to Quebec. What’s more, her concert in Brussels will be in support of her English language album. It will be interesting to see their reaction, and the reaction of the press. The Lara Fabian Connecting People site noted that 21 years ago (on Sunday) the European continent was introduced to Lara’s album ‘Pure’. What a difference – that megahit jump started her career in Belgium and France, ultimately leading to her moving back there, while now her upcoming concerts in those countries still have tickets available. One might think we’ve come full circle. Lara will get a better handle on that when she sees how her new French album is received, especially if she continues to live in Quebec, and, again, after the “Everybody loves Lara” TV show, how can she think of doing so? With her concert in Paris the following Saturday, this will be an interesting time for her.
