A week with some items from Lara's past, present and future...
As for the ‘present’: Lara took the opportunity to wish everybody a Happy St, Valentine’s Day, with an imaginative picture:
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/a.215378125170359.50343.201065806601591/1066090306765799/?type=3&theater
She also put an equally fetching image on Twitter, with the same sentiment:
In the spirit of this holiday, purepeople (http://www.purepeople.com/article/lara-fabian-victime-de-l-amour-j-ai-rame-sentimentalement_a172222/1) had the following (translated) article (thanks to the Lara Fabian France Twitter site (https://twitter.com/larafabianfan62) for the link:
---------------------------------------
Lara Fabian, a victim of love: "I have struggled romantically ..."
Never short on confidence, the singer distills it anew as she continues to defend her latest album entitled "Ma vie dans la tienne."
In June 2013, to general surprise Lara Fabian announces her marriage to the Italian magician Gabriel Di Giorgio. Three years later, the singer has still not descended from her cloud. It must be said that in love, she has experienced some setbacks ...
Lara Fabian confess it willingly: with her husband, it’s true love! And for a very good reason, she finally found through him a sense of well-being and total confidence. "For me, someone who loves you is someone who knows you well and who still loves you. It's like a friendship, but with sexuality and more, and the barrier of modesty is raised up more easily. In friendship, I am very modest. With my husband if there is anything I say it, the slightest thing, "she confided to the magazine Gael.
Madly in love, Lara Fabian lifts the veil even on the way she keeps intact the flame. "I found that if I put on this pair of shoes or that if I cook such a dish, it’s going to make him happy, then I do regularly ... He is my great love, my greatest and wisest sage”, she added.
Lara Fabian has without doubt learned from her mistakes and experiences because, before finding her soul mate, she has had two particularly painful ruptures: first with Rick Allison then with director Gérard Pullicino, father of her daughter Lou (8 years old). "I enjoy especially my current happiness. I struggled romantically to find one day the father of my daughter, and then one day the man of my life," she confesses willingly. And for the singer, "it does not matter" if her husband is not the father of Lou. "It was not my destiny. And above all, Lou, my daughter would be what she is. My real success, it is to be able to be happy", she says. May it last !

In an advertising blurb associated with this release and a coming TV show (http://www.cinetelerevue.be/fr/lara-fabian-et-jean-michel-zecca-fetent-cine-tele-revue.html?cmp_id=7&news_id=36130) the following (translated) promo was made available:

Lara Fabian and Jean-Michel Zecca celebrate Ciné-Télé Revue!
Olivier Pirard
For 71 years of the magazine, a special edition of the game "Seventy-one" was produced. A festive broadcast to be discovered next Wednesday on RTL-TVI! Among the handpicked guests, some familiar faces ...
Happy Birthday, Ciné-Télé Revue blows out 71 candles! On this occasion, the number 1 French-speaking magazine in Belgium brought together players and personalities on the set of the TV game show "Seventy-one" on RTL-TVI.
And our special guest is none other than the beautiful Lara Fabian! The Belgian singer finds herself facing seventy other candidates to celebrate the magazine she saw evolve throughout the years. "My parents bought it. We found it on the coffee table. And today, I continue to readit. It is passed from generation to generation ", says the artist.
For his part, it is with humor and nostalgia that the moderator, Jean-Michel Zecca notes: "For my part, I remember the bare pin up pictures when I was a kid. You should bring it back. (...) The pin-up has an elegantly old-fashioned side. Especially since it was not rude nor vulgar. I fight a thousand times for its comeback! "
Discover, tomorrow, the joint interview with Lara Fabian and Jean-Michel Zecca in your Ciné-Télé Revue.
And make an appointment next Wednesday, February 17th at 18:30 on RTL-TVI for the broadcast the "Seventy-one" special birthday. Will you recognize all the personalities that are floating in the audience?
We promise you a moment full of complicity, drizzled with a good touch of uproarious laughter and a few doses of surprises! In short, an appointment not to be missed ...

If/when the scans of an actual article (in addition to pictures) become available, the translation will be provided…From the table of contents it appears to be approximately a two page spread. Meanwhile, a promo for the show can be seen at:
www.facebook.com/RTLTVI/videos/10153177439911685/
[Thanks to the MZ FB site for the link].
One or two more pictures from the article can be seen here (thanks to the Lara Fabian – PHQ site for the link):

Concerning the future: Lara took to her FB page this past week, with the following (translated) announcement:
“My team prepares some new dates of concerts in France. What city would you want us to add on the tour?”
So, of course many towns were suggested. Whether it really is open to debate is another question – remember, a similar ‘survey’ was launched for the third single, when the decision had already been made for ‘L’oubli’. As in that case, however, it is not impossible that a suggestion that caught their eye might result in something not previously emphasized.
Outside of France, suggestions were made for Quebec, Germany, London, etc. The standard reply was ‘we’re working on it’, although in the case of Quebec, that was repeated and is almost certainly the case.
Concerning one foreign venue that she will be visiting, the Lara Fabian Romanian site had a picture of the tour’s poster up in Bucharest, for the 4/22 concert; it can be seen at:
www.facebook.com/larafabianromania/photos/a.150846921604980.22470.127093573980315/1042312579125072/?type=3&theater
She will also be in another Romanian city, Cluj-Napoca, two days earlier. A video promo for her visits, composed of clips from her two appearances in Bucharest in 2012 and 2014 can be seen at:
www.facebook.com/larafabianromania/videos/1001631309859866/
Interestingly, the two songs they chose at the end to highlight the new album were ‘Ton desir’ and ‘Quand je ne chante pas’; it would seem that these two really have become the general favorites to illustrate the album’s accessibility.
Lara also has an ‘official’ promo for her concert in Sophia, Bulgaria, on 4/24; it can be seen at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_pX4Ozlx28
And as for the past: as expected, Lara was on the show ‘Face to Face” on RTL TV in Belgium this past week, visible at:
www.rtl.be/rtltvi/video/567931.aspx?CategoryID=0
This is the same show that Lara was on last November [the hostess wore the same outfit; Lara’s is different ]. Last time she introduced the new album, this time she talked about the upcoming tour, emphasizing of course the five shows set for Belgium. Once again she repeated that it would be both electric and acoustic, and would pretty well represent the sound of the album. She also covered familiar territory about the album being ‘without filters’, and about her hearing issues. But the absolute highlight was an approximately 2 and one-half minute video of moments from Lara’s career, as captured from the various DVDs (from ~7:00 to 9:30 on the program), very professionally done. She was also asked some questions, the most surprising of which was from Patrick Bruel, inquiring when was the last time she cried. Lara noted an occasion with her parents, but was quick to say it was not associated with ‘nostalgia’, which, as we know, she thinks of as ‘living in the past’.
Also, GAEL magazine is the gift that keeps on giving. Another article concerning Lara has become available (http://www.gael.be/rencontres/femmes-inspirantes/370194/dans-lassiette-de-lara-fabian); here’s the translation:

ON THE PLATE LARA FABIAN
February 12, 2016

INSPIRING WOMEN
Lara Fabian or "bio-attitude" as nicknamed by her daughter, delivers to us her daily meals.
Rather healthy at the edges, our Guest GAEL likes the natural and does not hide it. Between ethical products and pasta without sauce, Lara Fabian favors the attitude "a healthy mind in a healthy body".
WHAT DO YOU EAT EVERYDAY?
It's really varied and hyper aware at the same time. I begin by choosing products grown ethically, from producers who still have the heart not to poison the atmosphere with methane. There are butchers like that. Or fish merchants whose salmon do not come from intensive farming. Already in eating it, consciously, we are less likely to binge. Basic, it's common sense. My daughter calls me "the bio-attitude". "Where is she, the bio-attitude?"
WHERE DO YOU COME BY THIS PASSION FOR HEALTHY FOOD?
I was brought up by an Italian mother who has always favored seasonal fruits and vegetables and simple preparations. It's my heritage.
WHAT CAN ONE FIND IN GENERAL IN YOUR KITCHEN?
In my kitchen towards 18 hours, one finds a fish in the steam oven. I like to put in a little food processor a half avocado, basil, mint, coriander, shallot, a little pepper, three almonds, a little water to liquefy, perhaps a spoon of olive oil at the end. I pour the green salsa on fish and accompany it with 4 or 5 slices of asparagus and a spoon of brown or basmati rice.
Or, in my oven, one finds some peppers. After an hour of cooking, I put them in a small paper bag and I take off the skin in a single gesture. I cut them into slices and serve them with a half mozzarella, basil and a teaspoon of high quality olive oil. After eating it, you feel good and it makes you happy.
WHAT DISH DO YOU LOVE TO PREPARE?
I enjoy good pasta: with vegetables. Pasta not fattening, it's what you put on it that makes you fat.
Lara Fabian also gives you her recipes for days "when there is nothing in the fridge." [That was provided in the News Update of 2/2].
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT COURSE?
I am in a space of being a soup freak. Right now, it's butternut, curry, ginger, sweet onions. I roast the butternut and garlic in the oven for 2 hours and then I cover all with Evian water.
------------------------------------------------------
And there was another (translated) article from GAEL (http://www.gael.be/rencontres/femmes-inspirantes/370324/les-conseils-de-lara-fabian-pour-garder-la-ligne):
------------------------------------------------------
Advice from Lara Fabian to Keep Your Figure
Our GAEL Guest amazes us from concert to concert with her flawless figure. But what is her secret?
Lara Fabian has her silhouette in a hyper-balanced diet. She delivers to us, always with humor, her tips to watch her waistline, her shape, and a beautiful smile.
WHAT DO YOU EAT TWO DAYS BEFORE A CONCERT?
The morning: some fruits. Or juice in the juicer: pear, carrot, apple, ginger, or just fresh fruit juice. If I have a craving three hours after ... uh, well I do not eat anything (laughs).
Lunch: I take for example an alfalfa salad with little sprouts, radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, olive oil, lemon, accompanied by two slices of black rye bread with avocado crushed on it (it's the good fat) . Sprinkle small sliced radishes, salt, pepper ... A little imagination, it is not sad!
In my view, without carbohydrate, we guarantee ourselves a deficiency. And after if we go back to eating it once, we will take on three times the weight. Not to eat it is a heresy to the body. Any nutritionist will tell you. Obviously, do not consume after 23 hours with 500 grams of cheese and a bottle of Amarone ...
At 16h, if I'm hungry, I take a small organic soy yogurt.
WHAT IS FOR YOU A TYPE OF DAILY DIET PLAN?
If you want to be careful, do not eat a lot after 17h-18h. I end the day "I take care" with a soup and 60 g of brown rice. Or quinoa. If you eat beyond 18h, take only soup. Then you never get fat. Authorized: herbal teas galore. Lemon ginger, chocolate-chili, yogi ... With the Algarve if you need a little sugar.
AND ON A DAY YOU LET YOURSELF GO?
It's more funny! Pan d'Oro [also ‘pandoro’, a golden Christmas bread from Verona, Italy] in the morning, for example the Tre Marie from Delhaize, which is to die for. With a 'café au lait' sprinkled with cocoa. A slice, eh, not three. And if it's a real binge day, I add a Tortillon [cheese] from Lonbois (Waterloo), because a brutal weight loss, it's dangerous.
My daughter Lou will eat an egg scrambled with bacon, and I'll take a spoonful of it. On the contrary, I'm not going to eat at noon. At 16h if I'm hungry, sausage with an aperitif, and good crusty bread. Some Emmental [cheese], Parmesan cheese cubes ... finally, what’s around.
And towards 21h, time at which I’m forbidden to eat, I make a risotto with gorgonzola: I come back with a shallot in olive oil and butter, I deglaze with port, then I pour on my rice a broth of CEP. Then I let melt 300g of butter and gorgonzola. And open a bottle of Amarone.
TOMORROW IS THE TOTAL GUILT?
No, the next day I will not be hungry. Except, if I do my nonsense three days straight ... So then the next day I'm too hungry. But you will never see me at the fast food or with a bag of candy, chips, or liter and a half of soda. No, it has to make sense!
-----------------------------------------------------
Actually, we know from her own words, that overeating is not Lara’s problem…
And then, to round it off, GAEL had one last bow to Lara (http://www.gael.be/rencontres/femmes-inspirantes/370480/merci-lara-fabian), translated below:
----------------------------------------------
Thank you Lara Fabian
February 15, 2016
Many thanks to our GAEL Guest Lara Fabian!
Thanks to our Guest GAEL Lara Fabian for letting us discover her universe for a few weeks time.
Thanks for having shared her humor, her smile as well as a day in her company.
Thanks to her for having delivered some objects, for having revealed to us her quick recipes for days when there is nothing in the fridge and for having explained to us her relationship with fashion.
But also revealing to us the secrets of her balanced diet and her advice to keep one's shape.
Finally, thanks to her for having shared her definition of love with a capital A [Amour] and of having put stars in our eyes.
Thanks to Lara Fabian for all these moments shared during the month of February!
--------------------------------------------
These really were an extraordinary set of articles, in which we learned so much about Lara’s daily life [contrast this with how little we ever knew about Lara’s life with Gerard Pullichino]. All, probably, set in motion because the editor-in-chief of GAEL knew Lara in school!
In other news, in its 14th week, ‘Ma vie dans la tienne’ has dropped to #78 in physical CDs, a fall of 14 places, while in Belgium it dropped five places to #17. There’s a rumor noted on LFIAG that Lara will have a re-release of this album in March, and that the package will include the movie ‘Un soir autour de monde’ that was shown for one night in theaters. If so, it is not yet available on either FNAC or amazon.fr. ; a package of that nature might actually boost sales.
Interesting photo(s) of the week:
Lara from the GAEL magazine supplement, implements in hand:
s6.cdn.sanomamedia.be/a/view/q75/w700/h700/1552304/lara-fabian-assiette-au-quotidien.jpg
and GAEL’s thank you to Lara picture:
s5.cdn.sanomamedia.be/a/view/q75/w700/h700/1553568/merci-lara.jpg
Finally, as usual (!), from the Operation Fan Club Lara Fabian, a nice smile for the week:
www.facebook.com/OperationFanClubLaraFabian/photos/a.674006339373232.1073741828.673991206041412/901259573314573/?type=3&theater
The situation that has prevailed for the past several weeks - an occasional TV appearance with some supplementary tour promotional material - should like prevail for the foreseeable future, until the actual concerts start in mid-March [though presumably there were be no further GAEL magazine articles ]. Just one month away!

Actually, we know from her own words, that overeating is not Lara’s problem…
And then, to round it off, GAEL had one last bow to Lara (http://www.gael.be/rencontres/femmes-inspirantes/370480/merci-lara-fabian), translated below:

Finally, as usual (!), from the Operation Fan Club Lara Fabian, a nice smile for the week:

The situation that has prevailed for the past several weeks - an occasional TV appearance with some supplementary tour promotional material - should like prevail for the foreseeable future, until the actual concerts start in mid-March [though presumably there were be no further GAEL magazine articles ]. Just one month away!
