As the launch of the new album and the wide-scale showing of the Prague Concert approach this coming Friday. Lara stepped up her promotional activities. Most obvious was her appearance in the ‘Blue Room’ on Twitter to answer a variety of submitted questions. Various videos have been generated of her responses, which included two live acoustic versions of her first two singles.
A video of her responses themselves can be seen at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_cIPbu5L2U
or
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARh5DNkNyuo
while a video of the two songs is at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFGSU_24O80 (both songs)
There are many other videos of the individual songs (e.g., www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSw0c1NMl4I), most of which have some problems with matching the audio and vocal at times, due to the appearance of them on ‘periscope’, which seems to be hard to download from coherently.
Concerning her responses themselves, here are most of the different points:
------------------------------------------------
**What will she do after the release of the album? After the promotional period, she will leave for Italy [for the holidays] and then get ready for the upcoming tour [starting in March].
**Will the tour be acoustical, rock or theatrical with décor? The tour will reflect the album as closely as possible.
**What gifts from the fans does she like the most? All the gifts, chocolate and perfume notably, but perhaps more than any others, ‘fun’ gifts.
**How long did it take to write and compose the new album? About a year, finishing in August.
**If she had to choose, which is of her own albums does she prefer? The new one, as it was done without filters, with great simplicity and depth.
**Where did she get the idea to show the Prague concert movie in theaters? The idea for releasing it as a film was that it was a remembrance, a postcard of all that she had done ‘around the world’ that she was bringing back to those people in France who hadn’t been able to see it. It was a gift for all.
** Would she love to become a coach on ‘The Voice’ or ‘The Voice Kids”? She realizes the difficulty of being on ‘The Voice’, not sure she would have the courage, but she would accept the challenge of being a ‘coach’.
** Why didn’t she do a duet with her daughter? Lou is a bit too young for that; also not sure that it is what she would like to do, but she’ll ask her in time and let them know.
**What does she love about Russia? The audience that she finds there, and how much they love her music in the different languages. She noted she ‘took the heat’ for going there, but the only important thing is the connection that they have created, that still exists today.
**What lyrics would she have most liked to have written? ‘Voir un ami pleurer’ [by Jaques Brel].
**What is the favorite song that she has written, or co-written? ‘Ton desir’ – it was the most fun to create.
**How is her health”? She’s o.k., it is now just a bad memory.
**Would she like to play a role in a movie? Yes, but not as a singer, something else that she could explore.
**What will be her mood the week of the movie’s release? Feverish, but looking forward to what people think of it.
**Two years ago she undressed for a photo shoot – would she be willing to do it again? She thinks next time she should be the one undressing others.
**Would she consider singing with a person from the audience? Yes, because she’s already done it (e.g., Fidan).
**If she had the time, what language would she like to learn? Japanese.
**The meeting with Johnny Hallyday was unforgettable, would she do it again? She agrees it was amazing, she would if the situation arises.
**What dream does she have for her career that is so far unfulfilled? To create a musical.
**What word(s) would she use to describe her career? “It’s yours”.
**What song in the new album most corresponds to her? Each song represents a part of her, and together they make up the totality.
**When did she first begin to sing? According to her mother, when she was 18 months old, with ‘Mamy Boo’ {Mamy Bleu).
**What emotion does she take away at the end of each concert? Intensity.
**Will she do a concert in Italy? It is important for her to do so.
**What are her projects for 2016? To go on tour, in a wide variety of locations.
**What is her favorite pastry? Rum baba.
**Will she come to Brazil? Of course she’ll come to Latin America and Brazil specifically because it is a country where she has a very special relationship. She dreams of coming there and doing a concert.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Lara seemed to have a good time doing it, and her musical presentation of the songs was relaxed and melodic. As to her comments, most of the answers would have been obvious ahead of time, though for some, the follow-through is what is important. Will we really see a tour of Latin or South America and specifically Brazil; a concert in Italy; a movie role that doesn’t require singing; a position as coach on ‘The Voice”; even a return to Russia? Yes, it’s nice to have these dreams - to quote lyrics from the song ‘Happy Talk’ [from South Pacific]: “You gotta have a dream, if you don't have a dream, How you gonna have a dream come true?” We’ve heard many of these same dreams from Lara countless times before; maybe now, with Warner’s backing and urging, action will follow.
One of the questions related to gifts Lara has received; she posted a picture of a number of them, at:
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/pcb.1006143166093847/1006143032760527/?type=3&theater
(and go to the next picture, a close-up of the flowers). They are all cute and creative, undoubtedly given with sincerity.
This was just one of Lara’s promotional appearances. In addition, she also appeared on Grand Lille TV:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyzKAsymCV0
answered a few questions live on this video:

and was interviewed on the news on France 3:

In conjunction with Lara's appearance at the previews of the film opening in several different cities, there are numerous videos, many of these fan-made, which Lara’s team then posted on her site:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijPhyFsSMV0
As one can see from these videos, no lack of enthusiastic fans, and, as it turned out, full houses.
Here are the main points she made in most of the interviews:
----------------------------------------
**’’Le soir autour du monde’ is really a ‘best of’ unplugged.
** It was a remembrance of the tour she took around the world, in which she spread the French language through her ‘hit songs’, and on which one can hear people singing in French alongside her, even though it wasn’t their native language. But there are French speakers around the world.
**When asked what she thinks about her career of 20 years, she refers to it as ‘mid-term’. But she’s not backward looking or nostalgic, so she thinks, oh, we’ve gotten here so far, let’s see what happens tomorrow.
**Nevertheless, when asked if she does have memories she mentions Johnny Hallyday, and Nimes, and her audience.
** The new album is a renaissance after her accident that interrupted her career.
**It is a rebirth, and it talks about all the things that one can live, from beautiful things to things less beautiful.
**It’s not about what we are going to do, but how we are going to be.
**She didn’t worry about whether the songs or the album were going to be popular but whether it was the right thing to do, she enjoyed just doing it.
**The album, written without a filter, is about the people who are closest to her in life. [Note that, in that sense alone, it is like ‘Toutes les femmes en moi’, which was dedicated to the women singers who ‘made her what she is’, professionally].
**With respect to ‘Quand je ne chante pas’, in which she says singing is all she knows how to do – she says that was a humorous thing – she knows how to cook too – it was a little self-deprecating, but that singing is in her DNA, it is what defines her
**A woman has to wear many hats – mother, wife, artist – must juggle the needs of the family with those of our ‘missions in life’, if that is what one calls it. One has to align one’s priorities harmoniously
**While the music business has changed, what makes a good song has not changed – it’s always a reflection of the artist and what she has to offer; one just has to adjust to how it will be presented and accessed. The industry has changed, record market is not the same, but one has to evolve with the times.
--------------------------------------------------
Lara is continually being asked about the concert in Prague film opening at the same time as the new album’s release. The interviewers were looking for some sort of connection (outside of Lara herself). Lara and/or her people have hit upon the approach that this is her new album for the French public, and that the concert was a way to act as ambassador for the French language in these places ‘all around the world’ – hence both ‘Francophile’ activities. It is a pretty thin reed to lean upon, especially because it wasn’t really a French language concert tour, but an international language tour. You may remember that the setlist in Prague, for example, (similar to that elsewhere) was: (http://musicserver.cz/clanek/50632/lara-fabian-forum-karlin-praha-5-6-2015/):
Je t’aime’ J’y crois encore’ Caruso; Il est lune; Angel; I Guess I Loved You; I Will love Again; Alfonsina y el mar; Immortelle; La Difference; Make Me Yours Tonight; Yelliel (My Angel); Pas sans toi; Mme. Hyde’ Je suis malade; Angel. Hence: 7 French; 7 English;1 Italian;1 Spanish. While the audience sang along in French, they did so in English as well occasionally. So her statements are not completely wrong, just a stretch. It would appear the real reason for the dual opening is to generate dual sources of publicity in an attempt to break through the barrier that has developed between the general French public and Lara as a top selling artist.
As to articles in the press, one concerning Lara’s appearance in Lomme for the movie preview appeared in (http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/region/lomme-un-soir-autour-du-monde-avec-lara-fabian-les-ia21b49765n3132150), translated below:

Lomme: "An Evening Around the World" with Lara Fabian, many fans have been fulfilled
CHRISTOPHE Declercq
On the occasion of the release of her new album "Ma vie dans la tienne", but also the large screen projection of her unreleased concert in Prague "Un soir autour du mone", Lara Fabian was Thursday night at Kinepolis of Lomme to present her two latest productions.
After a world tour, the singer with the "golden voice" always simple, accessible and authentic, offered her fans the retransmission of her last recorded concert at the Karlin Forum in Prague before 2000 people. A performance where she retakes some of her biggest titles in “unplugged” versions”, re-orchestrated and rearranged, giving even more intimacy to all who love her lyrics and melodies: Je t’aime, J’y crois encore, Immortelle or again Je suis malade.. After climbing the stairs of the Castle Cinema under the screams of many fans, "LA-RA, LA-RA! “ the star discovered and met her fans for a Selfie, a kind word, an autograph, a gift exchange, Lara Fabian came into the hall under the ovation of a public conquered in advance.
The artist quickly recalled her "auditory accident", her international tour then this gift, a concert broadcast in two cinema halls. She also presented her next album available as of November 6, an album in which she confesses "opening up with transparency." She even spoke of a "second first time" with "unfiltered emotions and writing with complete simplicity."
-------------------------------------------------------------
The ‘simplicity’ part may be due to one criticism of ‘Le Secret’ being that it was too complex (and as you can read in the ‘RTL’ article, the thought that it was too long).
In a related development, Lara went to see the work of the artist Phil Macquet, showing in Lomme, before she went to the preview of her movie at the Kinepolis. A video of her seeing a big portrait of the cover of her album hanging on the wall can be seen at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRPQwEQup34
There were also a press interview

Lara Fabian makes her grand return: “I’m in a hurry to re-find my fans”
Chloe Wyremblewski
After two years of absence, Lara Fabian makes her return with the release of her new opus “Ma vie dans la tienne”. Yesterday, she discovered the work of the artist Phil Macquet from Lille shown at Roncq, which is the pocket of her disc. The singer confided in us before meeting her fans at the Kinepolis of Lomme.
You are expected at Lomme for the retransmission of a concert. Your fans await you, you are anxious to find them again after two years of absence?
LF: Yes I am impatient, that has been a very long time. Especially since I will meet them in March for the tour, I am truly impatient to have their impression of the album.
Your new album, which leaves November 6th, is inspired by your personal life, with some titles dedicated to your loved ones. It was important for you to tell?
LF: It is an album without filter. It was simply time. It is the first time I reconnected with the joy of writing, we aren’t doing something, but we’re just trying to ‘be’ something. I said to myself “no pressure”, I have tried to be through this album, so that it resembles me. It was a big declaration of love to transmit.
You are part of ‘singers of voice’, a difficult label to wear these days…
LF: To change that which one is is definitely a way to end up with disaster. To don a mask to please others, it is a way of misrepresenting who one is. A singer of voice is an element of who one is, I don’t see that as a handicap but rather as what I am.
Your tour starts March 16 in Roubaix, are other dates expected in the region?
LF: No, it is the only unique date of my tour expected in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region. But my fans here could also come to see me in Paris and Brussels.
The pocket [cover] of your album, created by an artist from Lille, has gotten a lot of ink [publicity]. Some think that it has not shown you in a flattering light. What do you think of this polemic?
LF: There are all tastes in nature, they have the right of thinking that it doesn’t flatter me. Each finds their way of seeing things through the expression of an artist. This is why we used options, to multiply the choices. Me I find this pocket fantastic, but that that is not unanimous is quite normal.
And Lara Fabian discovers her portrait signed by Phil Macquet
Isolated, the majestic portrait of the Belgo-Canadian singer Lara Fabian is enthroned on the main wall of the gallery of the Old Stables. The same one which was shot in many tens of thousands, for the cover of the new album of the artist. It is 17 h 30, the singer who is expected at the Lomme Kinepolis for the retransmission of one of her concerts, hurried her steps to discover the picture with her image. Upon arrival, the superlatives are not lacking, "It's great to discover it like this, for real. Phil Macquet is an artist who does exceptional things. It is an honor to have been his muse. "
Fruit of a friendly meeting with the Lille artist, the photo representing the singer under different perspectives did not carry unanimously in the opinion of the fans. But for the author of the canvas, it was the expected goal: "I prefer that one hates my work rather than not give off any emotion." The singer, she said she was “fulfilled”. CW
------------------------------------------------------------------
Clearly some fans expect the work to stand on its own as an attractive cover, regardless of the digital magic [augmented reality] that could be brought forth with the ‘Lara Fabian app’.
The articles have (the same) numerous pictures (which shouldn’t be missed!), and one can see pictures from the gallery visit at:

A positive brief review of the album came out from RTL (http://www.rtl.fr/culture/arts-spectacles/lara-fabian-et-seal-sortent-un-nouvel-album-7780333636), as noted by Lara’s FB site. Here’s the translation:

Lara Fabian and Seal released new albums
BY STEVEN BELLERY, MATILDA CESBRON
The news is rich in the range of discs eight weeks from Christmas. Two great voices will compete in stores Friday. We start with ‘Ma vie dans la tienne’, the new album of Lara Fabian. New record company. New artistic team. This is the album of rebirth for Lara Fabian. This is her first recording since her severe hearing problems. And this is also a return to her sources. Example with ‘Quand je ne chante pas’. Lara Fabian wanted to sing to regain her happiness. "There are experiences that at times clearly indicate to you that you have a little less than what you think", she confided to RTL. "At that time, it is a choice that is oriented to happiness."
This condition was paradoxically beneficial to the singer. Lara Fabian was a little bit lost in recent years. A cover album, another in 5 different languages, the last was 80 minutes. With this new album, Lara Fabian comes back to a simple variety, efficient, well-produced. She does not make tons vocally. And that's so much better. The 45 year-old singer wanted to find the lightness of her debut. "It's really an album where I haven’t tried to do anything:[only] to reconnect with this enormous pleasure that one has to dive into inspiration." Lara Fabian back on tour throughout France from March 16. She will be June 3 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
------------------------------------------------------
In the accompanying video, in which extracts of five of the songs from the album are sampled, the critics say it is her best album since ‘Nue’. So far, all indications are that the critics may well like it.
And yesterday’s edition of ‘Paris Match’ had the following (translated) article (http://www.parismatch.com/People/Musique/Lara-Fabian-Il-aime-sans-trucages-ni-artifices-La-chanteuse-se-confie-sur-son-mari-Gabriel-Di-Giorgio-Tele-Star-857875):

‘Ma vie dans la tienne”
Lara Fabian, The Resurrection
Having suffered two shocks hearing in 2013, Lara Fabian back on the front of the music scene.
By Andrea Raffin
Recently interviewed by the magazine ‘Tele Stars’, Lara Fabian will return to the stores next November 6th. In the framework of the promotion of her new album – titled ‘ Ma vie dans la tienne’ – the singer returns to the auditory shock she suffered at the end of 2013, on her convalescence, and the valuable support of her daughter, Lou (8 years), and her husband, Gabriel Di Giorgio.
"Losing audition [hearing] for a singer is like losing his legs to a dancer!" In the columns of the latest issue of "TV Star", Lara Fabian first returned to her two hearing shocks of 2013. "It was a real test, "she has said. "In the course of the treatments, I convinced myself that it could not happen to me in an irreversible manner. Today, I'm fine, I have almost completely recovered. (...) It is in this silence that "Ma vie dans la tienne" was born. Without this test, this disc would perhaps never have existed."
GABRIEL DI GIORGIO, THE LOVE OF HER LIFE
The composer of 45 years was then entrusted to her husband, the magician Gabriel Di Giorgio "This is the love of my life. His greatest magic trick is that he loves without tricks or artifice. He and my daughter are my greatest strength." Lou, born of her relationship with Italian director Gérard Pullicino, is now 8 years old. "My fear, it is not knowing if what I do is what it takes for Lou to become the beautiful adult that she could be. She does not care about my media. And this is wonderful", she said, before adding: "Being for my daughter a vital force, to mount a musical for which I have already written the libretto, and to open my academy to pass on what I know to do are my challenges ahead. And to get older gracefully! "
Lara Fabian will unveil her new album, "Ma vie dans la tienne", on November 6.
------------------------------------------------------------
A very clear indication of her goals!
More songs are becoming available from the album ahead of its release – in fact, station MTL FM broadcast four additional songs (S'il ne reste qu'un ami; Ton désir;
Le coeur qui tremble; L'oubli) while Lara Fabian Mexico provided the song and Spanish translation of “L’oubli”, youtu.be/nS2SNwFtLXw); a portion of "Le désamour" can be heard in the RTL video; and for those who ordered the ‘Fan Delux Box Set’, “L’illusioniste” was available for downloading. Rather than go into detail about them here, since the full album is coming out on Friday it makes sense to wait for it. It was also noted that the version of ‘Quand je ne chante pas’ available on Deezer is somewhat different from that released as the radio station edit. Meanwhile, the ‘Lara Fabian Connecting People’ site had the following interesting information: “Finally, all of you have probably seen that an exclusive edition of the album will include two songs: “Je vais revoir l'hiver”(Once again, I see the winter) and “C'est ma terre “(This is my land). That's two songs written for Lara by maestro Igor Krutoy.” So, if true, that explains that the Krutoi songs are there, just not the ones we expected (from the ‘New Wave’ Festival).
And in other Russian news - while much has been made of the movie playing in France and Belgium (for one night each, outside of the previews), its distribution in Russia has expanded considerably. According to the ‘Lara Fabian Connecting People’ site, Lara even provided some remarks, translated below:
--------------------------------------------
"Hello! It is Lara Fabian! I have special news for you. The concert, which was filmed in Prague during my international tour, is ready for release! It will be shown on the screens of theaters closest to you only in one weekend - from 6 to 8 November. (Note: date changed to November 20-22) If you do not find your movie theater on the site cinemaemotion.ru, you can refer to the compilers of the cinema program. I can not wait to share with you this time! See you at the "Evening around the world"!
-----------------------------------------------
As to the theatres so far lined up, the same site (http://cinemaemotion.ru/catalog/314#events-list) so far lists 31 cities, including many of the major Russian ones (Moscow, St. Petersburg, etc.). It’s possible even more will be added. So Lara’s comment that her link with Russia is ‘still going on’ would seem to be true, in this respect at least.
And Lara is actually starting to line up some concerts in Eastern Europe. Two concerts are planned in Romania for April 20 and 22, while she will be in Bulgaria April 24 (http://www.eventim.bg/bg/bileti/lara-fabian-sofia-national-palace-of-culture-hall-1-413176/event.html). More will likely follow.
We would be amiss if we didn’t acknowledge the milestone that Lara passed, with now more than one million fans on her FB site. Lara herself acknowledged it, saying she thanks the fans ‘one million times’:
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/videos/1005890152785815/
One would imagine that the release of the new album will up the number considerably. Since Lara moved from 17th to 12th position in the last year in numbers of 'FB+Twitter likes' for French female singers, one can imagine she may well jump higher by next year.
Today Lara was on the news on TF1, and there will be more media appearances this coming week including with Mona FM at 7AM (GMT+1) on Friday (https://www.facebook.com/monafmnord/photos/a.254346402566.140709.254327027566/10153660791007567/?type=3&fref=nf), and at the APAJH awards as well as on the show TPMP on November 9th. Expect more to pop up. The Mona FM show was pre-recorded, and an article about Lara’s appearance there is translated below (from m.lavoixdunord.fr/region/armentieres-a-mona-fm-lara-fabian-au-naturel-et-ia11b49726n3131570#.VjJON0qcBCw.facebook).

At Mona FM, Lara Fabian natural and caring with her fans
ARTHUR GASQUÈRES
To celebrate the upcoming release of her new album, "Ma vie dans la tienne" November 6, the Belgian-Canadian singer came to meet her fans. A moment they are unlikely to forget.
Thursday, 1300 hours. A dozen special guests, winners of a raffle organized by Mona FM to meet with Lara Fabian, anxiously await the arrival of their idol in front of the local radio station.
Lara Fabian was in the Mona FM studio in connection with the promotion of her new album, Ma vie dans la tienne, to be released November 6.
Two years after her fifteenth [corrected] album Le Secret, and after an international tour in North America and Eastern Europe, the author-songwriter from Belgium returns to the front of the stage. She talks about her album that she wants to be at the same time "both hyper-personal and universal."
The road from Chartres
The excitement reigns among the lucky winners of the draw. "It's indescribable, happiness ... There are no words. " breathes Karin, fan of the first hour. "She’s not just a singer," said Dawn, "her voice is beautiful and her personality too."
Cedric, fan since adolescence and thirty today, made the drive from Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) to see Lara Fabian: "It's a dream," he says. "I really hope for a photo with her ... and memories". And memories, they were: the singer took time to sign autographs and take pictures with everyone.
An international artist then, but who has remained natural and humble: "We vibrate to the rhythm of the same thing, not necessarily a language but an emotion."
A beautiful lesson in humanity and for her fans an unforgettable memory.

It really goes without saying this will be the most important week In Lara’s professional life in the last several years. Will her album get off to a good start, and will it have staying power on the charts? Remember, ‘Le Secret’ opened at #1, but fell rapidly thereafter. Will the various movie theaters for her Prague concert be filled sufficiently to show Lara in a good light? Lara says she will be ‘feverish’ awaiting the responses – let’s send her our good wishes on this somewhat momentous occasion for her career.

(and go to the next picture, a close-up of the flowers). They are all cute and creative, undoubtedly given with sincerity.
This was just one of Lara’s promotional appearances. In addition, she also appeared on Grand Lille TV:

answered a few questions live on this video:

and was interviewed on the news on France 3:

In conjunction with Lara's appearance at the previews of the film opening in several different cities, there are numerous videos, many of these fan-made, which Lara’s team then posted on her site:

More songs are becoming available from the album ahead of its release – in fact, station MTL FM broadcast four additional songs (S'il ne reste qu'un ami; Ton désir;
