As you may or may not have already heard ('smoothlara' noted it in her reply to the recent Update), Lara has just cancelled the rest of her tour.
As she said in a video on her FB page,

the re-organization of her concert schedule, 3 days on/8 days off, was not sufficient to help her ears heal…so she’s going to try to really get well by staying away from excessive noise and take mediation for [at least] several weeks. She felt that if she continued, she wouldn’t have been able to give 100%, and so she’s taking the doctor’s advice. She apologizes for all those who have not gotten to see her because of this, and to her touring companions, who are now out of work. She is disappointed that this tour was not officially recorded, but that all those who did record something should send it to her at

she will then put it together and in a few days offer it to the fans.
Frankly, this decision makes complete sense, for she had in effect accomplished her primary goals – get the material out to the public, if not in every corner of France, and sing in all the big cities: Paris, Moscow, New York, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto. The album’s sales were not picking up, and why risk her health and hearing under these circumstances?
This also provides a possible answer as to why she gave the ‘Le Secret’ concert in Toronto to an English speaking audience – she may well have known at that point that it would be the last one.
Meanwhile she says she will be sitting at her piano (as she is in the video) and working on new songs. Not the end of her career – but a break necessitated by circumstances. She kept going until the risks seemed greater than the benefits. It seems a wise decision. Let's hope she really gets better and is all healed the next time we see her.
