Lara had her last three concerts in France for the year this past week, and seemed to emerge unscathed, at least from what we could tell. She continued to be in good voice. Here are some representative videos:
Marseilles: Que j’etais belle

A small article about her appearance in Marseille, saying she was in full form before wild fans: www.laprovence.com/article/loisirs/2661399/lara-fabian-touchante-malgre-tout-au-silo.html
That description can fit the applause plus a serenade with the words of Jean Jacques Golman, ‘Tu est de ma famille’:

and can also fit the applause preceding and following this ad-hoc presentation of ‘Pas sans toi’:

The fans concocted a surprise for Lara when she sang “I Am A-Wa”;

As the text to the video notes, she sang with her eyes closed, and when she opened them, she discovered the audience was standing with arms raised featuring fluorescent bracelets, and singing the chorus along with her.
Then from Beziers: I Guess I Loved You

after which Lara left the following message: "Off I go... After Marseille and its warmth, Beziers and its crazy laughs... Toulouse, I'm coming... See you in a few moments. Lov"
And from Toulouse: Il est lune

More generally, larafabianweb has collected a number of videos from various recent concerts, listed at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9alEGDzPoIM&list=PLHj9kbngo4o1ByJ9wZI8Xhnp8tNV3k-FU
As can be seen, Lara also appears to be in a good mood. Nevertheless, she has to be paying attention to her condition to some extent, or how else to explain her forgetting the words to ‘Je t’aime’ (!) (http://www.midilibre.fr/2013/12/11/en-concert-a-beziers-lara-fabian-oublie-les-paroles-de-son-tube,795806.php). Here’s the translation:

You can sing a hit for years and still forget the lyrics! Lara Fabian was Tuesday evening at the scene of Zinga Zanga Beziers and graced her fans with a pretty ‘blank out’ in the middle of "I love you."
Tuesday night's concert Lara Fabian Beziers was almost full. Except for the scene where she lacked violinist Pascale Croft ... He was poisoned by a dish of mussels and was hospitalized at the Champeau clinic. Fortunately for fans, Lara Fabian did not have to postpone again and assured the show.
"Already I'm deaf, so in addition I have amnesia ..."
The room easily forgave her some memory lapses, including on her hit "Je t’aime" and even laughed with her when she joked in this way: "Already I am deaf, so in addition I have amnesia. .. "

Lara Fabian , before her concert in Béziers: "My fans keep me upright"
By Cyril Calsina
Lara Fabian honors her appointment with the Beziers public Tuesday at the Zinga Zanga. She was to come on November 8, but was forced to cancel for medical reasons.
CC: One begins with a salutation that makes sense to you ... How are you?
LF: Taking it quietly is better. This is not a situation that regulates itself in fifteen days unfortunately. I thought with the rest, it would recover easily, but it is far off. I do not like to talk about it because I like to keep my space totally positive, open.
CC: You had your concert postponed November 8. On that day, fans came to form a heart with candles. They are what you call "My Angels"?
LF: Again waou for the message ... Then, it is difficult to express in words what the love makes you feel, it is above that, it is universal. It has nothing to do with just a fan - artist relationship, I really feel we have a link that goes beyond that connects the human to human. This is what I feel in love with them whenever they send it to me like a balm. This is particular, but this is what keeps me standing over the years.
CC: We have not seen you since 2006. It was near, in Valras where you gave a concert before 40,000 people. You said it was one of your fondest memories ...
LF: Oh yes! If you knew ... I see it still, I see how I was dressed, I remember bits that were there, of going out by boat. It was amazing, what a beautiful moment. It is the energy of the people which was outstanding, they carried me.
CC: Your concert, which follows the last album "The Secret" is like a story, a stream flowing between songs ...
LF: Absolutely, this is a story which speaks of the path that one takes the day when we realize we have the means to find a form of happiness and inner serenity. It is the journey of every human being somewhere, beyond the impacts of life. It is to face oneself, conscious that he has the means to make himself get well.
CC: The first song, "The Secret" talks about rape. Why did you decide to sing that text ?
LF: We talk about how serious things, sometimes, in time, transform themselves like a miracle. We carve out the most positive part in the story. The violence suffered by a child, sexual or otherwise, it's part of the serious impacts of life.
The first CD of ‘Le Secret’ is a CD reciting the impacts: an eating disorder, a misunderstanding, a break in adolescence ... Then, the second CD opens with the dream of a star that comes back into the space of healing, in resilience. I could have talked about other things. As for rape, it has not affected me thank God ... but all the same by proxy.
CC: Everything is not black ...
LF: No, on the contrary. "Le Secret" is rather this point at the luminous center that we find when we realize that we are made for happiness. When we realize that our only real momentum as a human being is joy, lightness ...
CC: You understood it when?
LF: When I got tired of suffering, of deploying energy to go wrong. It costs a lot more energy .
CC: More than to go well, that's for sure ...
LF: Yes, and yet this is what proves that we have a superhuman strength to transform what hurts. So the day we realize that, we say : "No, but wait, it could cost me a lot less energy, it would make me more light and happy." After, materially, there are many practices, techniques and strategies to do so, but everyone has to find his way.
CC: Beyond ‘Le Secret', what are we going to hear of others?
LF: The songs that you loved at a time and which permitted me thanks to you to come closer to a big audience. Those songs that are unavoidable. After, I adjust a little.
CC: Bride and happy ?
LF: Yes, absolutely.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Lara is continuing to cancel some concerts and rearrange others (including adding some new appearances at places in France). Each change brings with it some disappointments from fans, as one supposes her people have now come to expect. Her concert in Quebec on January 15th has been moved up to January 8th (http://www.quoifaireaquebec.com/events/view/242400/Lara-Fabian). This is presumably due to a new addition: an article in Canada indicates that Lara will be appearing at a televised gala on the 12th (translated from (http://www.newswire.ca/fr/story/1276849/celebration-2014-fete-son-25e-anniversaire-en-grand-avec-entre-autres-ginette-reno-marie-mai-marc-dupre-et-lara-fabianIn):
---------------------------------------------------------------
TVA Network is pleased to broadcast the gala 25th anniversary celebration, which will take place at the Théâtre du Casino du Lac- Leamy, Sunday, Jan. 12 to 19 h .
OF SILVER WEDDING
Celebration 2014 will be staged by Joël Legendre and hosted by Melanie Maynard. Big news : the latter will be assisted at the animation of the gala by several artists with impressive distribution. The incomparable Ginette Reno gladly accepted to participate for the fifth time on this TV show. Add Marie-Mai and Marc Dupré, both performers of the year ADISQ 2013 as well as Philippe Bond, Andrée- Anne Leclerc, Jérôme Couture and Lara Fabian, who returns to Quebec for the occasion. Yves Corbeil, who will be making his 25th participation in the gala celebration, will unveil the winning numbers for the lottery draw. A surprise also awaits the finalists during the gala. This hour and a half we will attend a performance unmatched by the moving , funny and outstanding performance of guest artists.
-------------------------------------------
In addition, Lara is now apparently adding concerts in Russia for 2015 (although they are not yet listed on her FB site schedule). The indication is that her second album with Igor Krutoi will be released during the latter half of 2014, and these shows are in support of it. All dates are obviously subject to change…
Lara has several upcoming media appearances. On Thursday she will be featured with a VIP interview on RFM
www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152425618069056&set=a.438123189055.220779.31395019055&type=3&theater
Note that RFM is one of the sponsors of her tour.
Then on Christmas Eve she will appear on France 2 on the program ‘Alcaline’ for a short interview, as part of their ‘moments with’ series.
‘Le Secret’ continues to fall on the charts in France, down to #160, while in Belgium it rose a bit to #59. Still listed as ‘gold’ in terms of number of sales in both countries.
Lara is off, officially, until her Carnegie Hall concert on the 27th, which she describes as the fulfillment of a lifetime dream. True for many who plan to come see her, as well!
