It was a week for Lara with both professional and personal news, or at least rumor.
On the professional side, Lara continued to have various media appearances. She appeared on the French TV show ‘Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde’, singing ‘Je t’aime’ alongside a Ukrainian acrobatic dance team named 'Flame'. Both performances were incredible. Lara did a convincing rendition of her earlier singing style for the song - and by using the same instrumentation, it sounded like it was a recording being played until Lara actually came out, but she was not lip-synching. That indicates Lara is now truly unafraid to return to her full voice singing form in France. The dancers showed perfect body form with the girl’s truly acrobatic postures. It can be seen on youtube at:

Lara was also on the show ‘Comment ca va bien’, available at:
www.dailymotion.com/video/x117uad_lara-fabian-comment-ca-va-bien-24-06-13_music#.Ucmknuvrb6w
This is the type of quick, humorous show Lara excels at. She looked beautiful with a completely different hair style, as pictured below:

A cute little segment from the show in which a panelist is indicating how hot Lara looks that way is available at:

Lara had a chance to dance (starting at about the 16 minute mark); she did it well and got into it, which suggested to fans that she should more often emphasize the rhythmic side of her nature. She also had the chance for an interesting interaction with fish (starting at the 31 minute mark), and sheep (at 45 minutes)!
In an attempt to maintain fan contact, Lara released a short video message, in English, available at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFKV4KoKrK4
A French version was released for fans in Quebec, announcing concerts there in late January, 2014. So they will be far removed from the planned Carnegie Hall event in late December.
There is a Greek show in which Greek singers imitate famous performers. The well-known singer Manto does a take on ‘Je suis malade’, complete with a 'Lara-like' appearance. It’s available, along with the preparation, at:

The photoshoot "imaginary couples" by Olivier Ciappa, in support of Gay marriage – or more generally, anti-homophobia – that Lara participated in is still getting some traction, good and bad. The photos were installed in a square in Paris, and several times they have been vandalized. An article appeared in ‘purepeople’ at
www.purepeople.com/article/lara-fabian-amoureuse-fictive-eva-longoria-a-ete-incroyablement-genereuse_a123413/1
Here’s a translation of part of it:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Between Lara Fabian and the gay community, this is a story of love and respect that is not born yesterday. "I date my commitment to the defense of homosexuals to the late '80s," says the singer in the pages of Gala. It is therefore not surprising to see the star participate in the project of Olivier Ciappa. What is more surprising is the presence of the sublime Eva Longoria at her side! The two fictional lovers met at the Global Gift Gala in Paris in May, presided over by the star of Desperate Housewives, during which Lara Fabian sang. "We hugged as if we had always known each other. Eva Longoria was incredibly generous," says the singer. After receiving the proposal of the photographer to pose together, lovers for a day, everything is done quickly, the actress shows herself available, "very concerned and very aware of the ongoing debate in France on the subject of marriage for all", remembers Lara Fabian.
Delighted to be able to make their contribution to the edifice, Eva Longoria and Lara Fabian made themselves ready to play on the stage, with good humor, humor and tenderness. The result is stunning and allows the singer of ‘Deux ils, deux elles’, to feel a moment of joy after months of debate that made her feel "very sad." True to her commitment, Lara Fabian "believes above all in love for all" and no doubt dozens of personalities (Frederick Bousquet, Roselyne Bachelot, Antoine de Caunes ...) who posed for Olivier Ciappa have the same vision as the singer.

In another photo opportunity, Lara got to have lunch with the winner of the ‘Miss France’ contest, pictured at:

And she was in ‘Privacy’ magazine, scan available at:

In an upcoming summer event (July 27), Lara will perform in Latvia in this year’s ‘New Wave’ festival, as she has in 2006 and continuously since 2009 (it is Igor Krutoi’s event). A poster for it is available at:

As for her personal life: July may be a busy month for Lara, if there is any truth in two articles, one whose scan can be seen at:
www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10201220141255272&set=gm.587054478005335&type=1&theater
and the cover of the other at:
radical-foto.ru/fp/bedc6663cd8749d59a257042cb74a83a
The first article starts off talking about the success of ‘Le Secret’, and the reconciliation of Lara Fabian with her body, proof of which can be found in the Gala photoshoot. Then it says:
"Up to 43 years of age, Lara has never been so happy."
In late 2012, Lara broke up with Gerard Pullicino, the father of her 5-year-old daughter Lou, and not so long ago fell in love with a Sicilian illusionist - Gabriel Di Giorgio. Since then, the two are inseparable. He accompanies her on all the TV programs and April 21 was present at the party where she performed with her daughter Lou. "In Paris, the lovebirds continued their idyll in a luxury hotel."
"The wedding will be held in Italy."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Then in the magazine “What’s new shooting in Paris”:
"Without a doubt Lara Fabian combines business with pleasure, dividing work and pleasant moments with your loved ones in the most romantic city in the world. Moreover, the pair have something to celebrate and organize! Love at 1st sight was so magical that they have already decided to exchange rings in July in Italy. "
--------------------------------------------------------------
Of course rumors have always abounded about upcoming weddings for Lara, but despite numerous reports of that nature, she apparently never did wed Gerard Pullicino. In his case, during the first part of their relationship he was still legally married; but even after that was no longer an issue, and after the birth of their daughter, they apparently never did ‘tie the knot’, as indicated by what was not said at their breakup announcement (though she occasionally referred to him as her ‘husband’ and wore what looked like a wedding ring). Why she would choose to do so now, if that is really the case, is unclear. Often one marries for the sake of children, but at 43 years old, that would seem to be problematic for her (in addition to her upcoming very busy schedule). She has said recently that in order to truly love someone else you must first love yourself, a state she says she has now achieved (as epitomized also by her Gala photographs). But she has also said that she now understands passion and love are not synonymous…Whatever she does, here’s hoping she gets what she needs.
In other news, a nice montage put together of Lara with Ray Charles for the song ‘Ensemble’ can be found at:

Until the July activities, whatever they truly may be, Lara does not seem to have anything further planned. Again, events can pop up at any time, as illustrated by how much there was to cover even in this ‘phase-down’ period. But, regardless, Happy Summer (or winter in the S.H.) to you all!
