This is a thread for reviews of Lara's new CD. I'll be adding to it as more become available, but I've started with some notable or press comments. Please feel free to add yours.
Reviews of Le Secret
1) www.ptitblog.net/Lara-Fabian/lara-fabian-avec-le-secret-la-chanteuse-revient-avec-un-projet-soigne_art9029.html
Lara Fabian signed a while back with class and elegance. True to her desire for artistic freedom, Lara directs her music where you do not wait and booked a double album of 17 original songs, all written by her pen, which is certainly not commercial but worthy of the finest pieces of French song. Lara Fabian will certainly have beautiful criticism from the media and earned critical acclaim, but as I have more difficulty in imposing this world to the general public.
Nevertheless this album carries universal values and messages, and titles such as "Two if they two", "life is," "The Secret," "It's Moon" or "P. .. large love "will not leave anyone indifferent. 8 years after his last album of original songs, Lara Fabian is making a comeback and honorable place in true artisan of sound.
Each piece connects perfectly with carefully placed interludes between songs and as soon as we dive into the sonic journey that is "The Secret" you can not leave before the end. Lara Fabian offers here an album that is a reflection of the woman, artist, author, composer, in a word SON album, more intimate than the previous ones, and always with the force we love so much from the artist.
"The Secret" will no longer be one of the next month and I can already assure you that this album will take the stage all its nobility and has an extra dimension!
Congratulations to Lara Fabian assumed for this bias and the ability to always know how to renew and take his music off the beaten path. This is an album that reconciled me with the French song and deserves an attentive ear, at the risk of missing out on a stylistic daring but successful!
The release of this new album will be followed by a world tour starting in September 2013 in Belgium, before passing through Switzerland, France and even the United States, where the singer is expected in the prestigious confines of Carnegie Hall New York on 27 December.
2) LFIAG (Alex) - Lara Fabian Is A Goddess (depuis 1998) a review for English speaking people :
here are a few thoughts on the different songs from LE SECRET and roughly speaking, it's safe to say that we've come back from very very far. I was really scared for this album because of the bad memories from the "TLFM" album (just the title is .... blah) and also because i'm not getting nor liking this "Le Secret" album cover (too much of a "last-minute-made-and-fakely-conceptual"-kind-of-cover) : yes, one could easily worry on her ability to place a new album which would answer all our expectations. I can say this : those worries are now all gone ! I even dare to say that there's something of a miracle in here. Never in my wildest imagination, would i have imagined Lara Fabian with such a masterpiece added to her album catalog. One thing though, Lara Fabian said in an interview that this album would sound like "alternative rock" but i don't think so. To me there's nothing alternative rock in the album...maybe some of the songs can be linked to an alternative-rock-ish sound but still, it's more like epic & lyrical. This album is going to be very difficult to classify into a definite catergory because each song differentiates itself from another and some of the songs belong to a genre that has not yet been "created" in a way LOOOOOL. Yes it's very special. It is THAT special.
So here's my very SUBJECTIVE opinion on the 17 tracks. One thing i have always said is that i love subjectivity !! I am 300% subjective. I think that someone who tries to describe himself as the most objective person ever is 1) a liar 2) mega BORING. Subjectivity is what makes an opinion interesting.
Now, that said, the majority of what i wrote was written during the very first audition of the whole album. I like to trust that very first feeling and i don't really trust the "after-several-hearings" thoughts on an album because the more we listen to the songs and , most of the times, the more are we enclined to like a song because we develop an inner attraction to the songs. So in fact it's important to never forget the very first impression and to then, correlate it with the definitive opinion. After several hearings, i added a few details on my thoughts and corrected some of my thoughts as well as you will see.
I hope my review will help you guys to wait until the 15th of april. This is a MAJOR project for Lara Fabian and this album, by far her best work in terms of accomplishments, is i think what will qualify Lara Fabian as an artist the most for the years to come.
About the "commercial" aspect of the album, will the album sell or not ? THAT IS A LONG debate. I have to admit , for the very first time, I can't really give a d*** about that commercial side of the album. This album is THAT good. Meaning, i don't care if the album sells or not. Commercial success has never equaled/meant quality. It's just a reflection of how popular an artist/an album was at a very precise moment in time. Frankly speaking, it's better she continues to produce what she feels she does better WITHOUT letting the "market trends" influence her !!! I think she knows that the greatest albums have always been those who stand out of the rest of the albums released at the same period of time. This album STANDS OUT big time. I hope i don't sound too much of a fan by writing this but really, how i'm loving this album is beyond my hopes
I wonder how much time she took to make the whole album from the original and initial ideas of the songs to the whole production : it's unbelievable. Once again, she displays her difference with such artists like Celine Dion who goes in the recording studio for 1 week top chrono and produces an average album for average fans and sells 1 million albums in the world. Good for her. But you know what ? this LE SECRET album will stay in the memories of French pop music history. Even Mylne Farmer, in her glorious days, has never made such a masterpiece. 90% of the songs of this album requires a certain cultural/musical-background or AT LEAST that the lambda person does not have any negative preconception/misconception about the musical genres that are painted throughout the whole album. For instance, if an artist sings a song with a lot of broadway references and Tim Burton vibes + some "emphatic-pop" mechanisms (by emphatic-pop music, i mean the use of musical procedures quite bombastic, like say, the Janet Jackson "THIS TIME" song which combined pop and opera and a lot of violins with a soprano singer), then, in that case, to be able to fully enjoy such a song, you are required to know a bit in those different genres or AT LEAST require to NOT dislike anything from these genres of music. And that is not that easy. For example, i don't enjoy rap music that much because i do have preconceptions on that genre of music (too much vulgar, too much urban, not melodic enough, etc) but then again, i can make an effort to put aside all the misconceptions i have on rap and then enjoy an Eminem or Jay-Z song from time to time.
Anyway, to come back on "Le Secret", if we compare this album with all she did since 1991-92 when she first started , one can easily say that "Le Secret" is very audacious, daring, creative and non-linear.
Before this album, there were a few things in Lara Fabian music heritage and universe that one could easily be ashamed of. A lot of people were always a little bit ashamed to reveal that "yes, i'm listenng to some Lara Fabian stuff". People could easily laugh at you or look at you while thinking "gosh, poor him/her. He/she really doesn't have any sophisticated nor great tastes except for the mega-commercial-lacrymal-romantico-ish-cheesy-stuff".
Well, this album will re-evaluate Lara Fabian as a TRUE and SERIOUS artist. Her artistic side is BACK and big time. I am very proud of this album. I'm proud that it's Lara Fabian who recorded this album. This album makes me proud. I envision all the work behind it. Lara Fabian is a very interesting artist and certainly MISUNDERSTOOD by the majority of the people. THAT is why this album is NEEDED. Janey CLewer (bambina) and Manu Pitois plus I guess her whole Russian experience, helped her to MATERIALIZE her growth as an artist.
BIG BIG TIME.
U have no idea.
1. LE SECRET :
------------
"Overture" of the album with a muffled sound like something that knocks or a heart beating ? maybe a child hitting on a door ? is it a metaphor for an SOS ? then the piano arrives. STRONGLY. in 2 or 3 notes : BAM ! it's very moving and touching for it sounds so serious and dramatic. Like NON superficial.
Superb orchestration (very philharmonical). She has invested some serious money for the use of instruments and music WOW. We are very far from the stupid "audio-backtracks" from TLFM. Far also from the impoverished sound of EWIM (amazingly sung, but too simplistic)
This first song is sung with an amazing voice in the lower register and we know it, this will not be well rendered in LIVE because it requires some intimacy for its seriousness to shine. with my headphones it's just pure magic.
The song sounds like the live version that is on youtube BUT i admit here in the CD it has nothing like the live version. The CD version amplifies the song in terms of quality and meaning. It's dense. Tragic.
One negative remark though : it is very difficult to distinguish her lyrics because of the way she sings which, i guess is very "operatic" so you can't really know which words she's pronouncing. The song finishes in a very interesting way.
grade initially given : 3.5 out of 5
but today, i appreciate it more and more, so it deserves a 4 out of 5. One of the masterpiece of the album.
(interlude) I like the fact that she makes interludes like these , it reminds me of Janet Jackson's 1989 album "Rhythm Nation 1814". I hope she will continue to make interludes of this quality in all her next albums !! So the interlude here sounds like a "menuet au piano" for classical dance, imagine the movie BLACK SWAN with Natalie Portman! superb. Lara Fabian is a teacher and says "mademoiselle ! Plus haut les bras". well recorded. You can perfectly imagine the scenery.
2) DANSE :
---------
I like these kind of songs because the sequence of the notes are less predictable and alltogether, it makes a song that is less linear. We already had songs like these in the "9" album but here Lara Fabian melts power and soft vocals together and it makes the song more intricate. Of course, this is not Bjrk or Emile Simon, don't get me wrong it's not ULTRA-sophisticated but it's definitely high-level, i mean, this is not a basic pop french "varit" la "parce que tu pars" or "si tu m'aimes".
The production of the music is genius, this doesn't sound "second hand instrumentals from TLFM".
The ending is very weird like she's vomiting lol ... nah just kidding but still. The rhythm is very catchy and it has all those B-flat notes and sharp notes that I enjoy
3.5/5 (initial grade)
I'm staying with the same grade.
(Interlude) Musical and pianistic, it's beautiful.
3) AMOUREXIQUE :
-------------
VERY original in the way she uses her voice to sing. There's a contestant at US American Idol this year who has the same way of singing (Angela Miller) it gives an impression of floating by in the air... it's quite soaring. For example when she sings "l'espace o je ne suis pa-a-a-a-a-a-as", the word "pas" is sung as if through some kind of vocoder, i dunno if she actually used one, but the result is hypnotic.
Her voice is toned and soft . The simplicity of the production is amazing and really gives an atmosphere of something haunting.
"je me noie" she says... there's sthing in the background that sounds like a respirator at the hospital.
I gave 3.5/5 at first but now, i will give 4/5. It's that good.
(interlude) not bad. Engaging. but nothing that exceptional neither. It's just a way to introduce "un ange est tomb".
4) UN ANGE EST TOMBE :
-------------------
To me it's her "j'ai zapp/les amoureux de l'an 2000" of 2013. Her voice is clear and powerful. A lot of guitars. Very rock, she would say. A little too much screamed for my taste and the melody is too easy to remember in my opinion. Especially the chorus which sounds to much like something circa 90's.
Doesn't really get better even at the bridge.
All the guitars might give her a little touch of "modernity" but i don't really feel her in that register. She ain't Tina Turner nor is she Pink Floyd. The whole song doesn't really do it for me. But that's just me.
I gave 1.5/5.
(interlude) it's the sound of a police hooter or an ambulance hooter? I like that. Creative.
5) JE T'APPELLE :
-----------
This was my initial thought on the song : "Ha ! this sounds like a little jingle? the melody is too linear. too much guitars. i have to put down the volume of my headphones. Im' not feeling this. And i'm switching towards the end of the song immediately.
If this was in English, i would have liked it better.
1.5/5"
OKAY. SO I CHANGED MY MIND COMPLETELY on this song now. I couldn't be more WRONG. This is now one of my favorite songs of the album.
i think it's one of those songs that you appreciate after having finished listening to the whole album. Then you have more time to come back on this song to shell it.
One thing has to be said : THE VOICE IS JUST SPECTACULAR. The way she uses her voice to climb so high with her falsetto (it is falsetto? i don't even know) So rightfully mastered. it fascinates me every time i'm listening to it.
the song is just HYPNOTIC.
I can't even imagine the rendition of this in concert !
I have the feeling the album is staring really seriously from this song !
(interlude) a lot of twittering : so very cute. Very well recorded. Very bucolic.
6) MIRAGE :
--------
"c'est tout cass", the studio version studio is far less insipid than the live version you can find on youtube.
I really hated the youtube version.
But rest assure, the CD version , although the same song / melody, is different.
Very "fabian-esque", yes, it's a very typical fabian-ish song.
But i'm not bothered by that because the vocal subtleties (that you can't hear LIVE) are really upgraded in the studio version (her husky/hoarse voice for ex.)
Except the 3 first words ("c'est tout cass"), the rest of the song reminds me of 80-90's Barbra Streisand la YENTL or THE WAY WE WERE. A mix between Michel Legrand / Marvin Hamlisch / Alan & Marylin Bergman stuff.
The melody is quite beautiful i have to say I'm sure this is going to be one of lara's fans favorite.
3.5/5
i'm staying with that grade.
(interlude) cute , a little bit "troubadour-ish"? , a little bit medieval ? ah-ha this is interesting if the song that follows is in that genre. Let's see...
7) QUE J'ETAIS BELLE :
-----------------------------
aAHHHHHHH THANK GOD !!
I love those "Game Of Thrones" / "medieval" / CELTIC sounds !
Her voice is powerful and well mastered. This could have been the very first single to be exploited on the radio waves but i guess people would have said '"oh she's imitating Nolwenn Leroy" for the celtic sound.
The harmonies are very beautiful.
I can't hear the lyrics, it's very difficult to distinguish and catch on the words she's singing. But i have to say i really don't care because it gives a global sound. It's like the voice is used as one of the many instruments in the music composition.
what surprises me is the richness of the music production !
4/5 (really well-deserved)
(interlude) Rain and wind. I imagine a lonely woman, wrapped in huge whippy/vaporous/filmy wool sweater with a nostalgic gaze... in a very mysterious way. It gives me some Amazonia vibes, it's very much like one of those "zen" compilation of music sounds from the shop "Natures & dcouvertes" . It's really beautiful and the idea of using interludes to end a song and start another , to link all the songs together like a journey though music , is really fascinating. To think that she thought of that is just amazing.
LA VIE EST LA :
---------------
"L'heure de partir...." sung with a medium range voice. A bit melodramatic. I'm picturing a train in the haze, it's 5 am, the train is about to go.
the voice is hoarse on purpose and it starts fast with power la "parce que tu pars" a little bit (which normally is what exactly i hate) but it's different here because each note sung, is sung with density and here, she really shows how much of an amazing interpret she is, because she carries on so much feelings and emotions through her hoarse singing.
The guitars are very Bruce Gaitsch, maybe i'm wrong ?
At first the song got me baffled. But now i really like it.
3.5/5 initially, but now it deserves a 4/5 because this is that kind of song that you discover more and more with each hearing, one of these songs that doesn't consume itself too fast upon the 1st listening session. (unlike "un ange est tomb")
(interlude) smart to bring us from the rain drops sound to the sound of a water tap. smart.
9) JE RVE D'UNE ETOILE :
---------------------
cute and quiet ballad with a lot of medium notes and some beautiful low register notes. Those moments are useful so one can't accuse Lara fabian to always scream on every note. A lot of sensibility and subtlety in this song. Her new "bambina" ? I don't know but there's something of it though;-)
DELICATE and BEAUTIFUL
I like how the song ends with this "moi" in a medium range.
3.5/5
10) KALPATARU :
--------------
Really, i have no idea what the title means.
The first notes are SURPRISING to say the least ! OH MY.
this is very daring coming from LARA FABIAN. It's risky to start a song this way if the rest of the song doesn't live up to the expectations this throws me some BAZ LUHRMANN vibes la "THE GREAT GATSBY" or "MOULIN ROUGE"
towards 3:15 it sounds like the song from Tibet or in the "Lord Of The Rings", you know when GANDALF comes out to help an army chased by evil dragons from Sauron and then Gandalf throws a light laser with his long cane (in the second episode or the thrid i think) at that moment, there's a voice that sounds like here in Kalpataru.
There really is a huge work in the production of the song . i'm astonished.
Superb song. Epic. Lyrical. Ethnic.
4.9/5
(interlude) cute but this is more like the end of KALPATARU than an introduction of 2 ILS 2 ELLES.
11) 2 ILS 2 ELLES :
----------------------
opportunistic ballad that probably comes from a sincere thought although the whole song sounds kind of corny. I know ell Flavien who composed it. He's a Mariah CArey fan
1st single of the album? ahem... doesn't really portray the richness and originality of the rest of the album but why not.
2/5
(interlude) : the creaking of an Hausmannien flooring HAHA what a "bobo" she is. Now she's lightening a candle... Dyptique much ?
12) CE QU'IL RESTE :
-----------------
This song is like the little sister of "que j'tais belle". You will understand why i say this. there's a smart game with the voices, the idea of mixing her voice and her voice through an ancient vinyle disc... i like the idea. Smart way to picture something nostalgic.
very vintage nostalgic vibes, this is one of these songs that builds a carreer, i like it very very much. Around 2/00 it becomes very philharmonic, think "L'Amour en Hritage" from Michel Legrand !
(interlude) this interlude gives me some "Ben Hur" vibes (the movie, you know. lol) no, i'm not kidding.
13) P*** DE GRAND AMOUR :
------------------------------------
So smart to sample the CARMEN opera.
Very (!) beautiful and very inspired from diverse broadway plays and the orchestration is so RICH ! Oh Gosh !! WHAT A SURPRISE
One can hesitate between broadway or Tim Burton world (the music from his movies): it's gay, amusing, sparkling, mockerish even, hyper tim-burtonish in my opinion.
There's so many things going on in this song; I really hope you guys will be able to avoid paying attention to the voice and really listen to the music in itself : it's soooooooooooo rich !!! I recommend to use some BOSE powerful headphones so you can really hear the sounds and instruments, it's like a mille-feuilles of several melodies in compiled layers
I love when she sings in spanish. The voice goes very high.
This song is EXCEPTIONAL and this title "putain de grand amour" takes its whole meaning because at the end of the song you really want to say "PUTAIN DE GRANDE CHANSON" !!
A masterpiece.
The 2 ending vocal notes will please to a lot of fans because it relates to the CARMEN opera:)
5/5
(interlude) the laugh comes of a little too late and sounds "added" but it's easily forgivable.

14) IL EST LUNE:
--------------
i love it much, it's the right place to place this song here because it comes after the bombastic "P* the grand amour" so it helps to cool off the tension. I can imagine a spanish version of this song or why not a brazilian version it Not that it's like a fado song but it reminds me af a recent Barbra Streisand/Barry Gibb song called "HIDEAWAY"
here, you will see : www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Zo9_6mhdiA0
3.5/5
(interlude) mmm this interlude with the wolves (?) sound very much like something "mylne farmer" would use in her old albums. Love it.
15) MON DESIR :
-------------------
A typical Lara Fabian song , kind of "streisand" as well. Could have been taken from the album "NUE" in fact. This reminds me a little bit of "le roi est une femme" but in a less"complex" way. her voice is full, powerful but soft. can't really say much about this ballad though.
3/5
16) L'ENFANT DU GWENVED :
-------------------------------------
After KALPATARU and P**** DE GRAND AMOUR, you might think, okay, 2 bombastic amzing songs is as much as she can do in one album but NO !! Wait here's L'enfant du Gwenved !! AHHHHHHHHH.
She does it again. This is a style she never displayed in none of her previous albums. This is exceptional. I'm very surprised, it's sublime !!
Lara Fabian really pleases herself with this. I doubt that if she was under a Universal Records contract, she would have added a 3rd song of this genre.
This is ethnic, authentic and ENYA-esque (but less soporific than enya)
I'm wondering if she does not have a future in this ethnic-kind-of-songs genre because she does it so well !!! Think THE DREAM WITHIN ballad that she sung but more EPIC with a universal message.
I thought about "GAME OF THRONES" during the whole listening of this song
5/5 !!!!!!!!!!!!
17) I AM A-WA :
----------------
A song in english yaasssssssss gurl
I have no idea what to be "a-wa" means though.
I did not get any of the lyrics but the voice is just as amazing as the rest of the album.
Amazing way to finish the album with the same beating sound that started the album.
3.5/5.
IN fine, I have to say that 98% of the album sounds very MUSICALLY well constructed like sthg you never thought Lara Fabian would be able to produce. LOL. No, really. it's haunting.
This album is SPECIAL. The word special defines everything. It's particular, it's precise, it's haunting, it has DEPTH.
Definitely her best album SO FAR and BY FAR.
When all the other divas (Cline, Mariah, Janet, Madonna, Whitney, Streisand, etc) are making albums that are worse and worse compared to what they used to do, LAra Fabian, goes in the opposite direction by getting better and better and this time TREMENDOUSLY better. Her team is necessarily for something. Her musical team is better. And she , also, is a lot more of an adult in her own artistry because she allowed herself an amazing freedom to produce this album.
this album is a real SLAP IN THE FACE of everyone. Especially towards people who thought she was done and artistically poor.
And the richness is so blatant in the sounds and instruments and the music. This is the 1st time i even enjoy more the music than the voice (which is perfect also).
What i regret now is this COVER !!!
My gosh, such a deep album, so full of richness in every sense and she comes out with this cover !!!! ((((((
To be conceptual does not mean to be that minimalistic.
I would have loved a mysterious landscape with a lot of details (vegetal, animals, insects, haze, etc... no face !)
Like a sad painting.
it's too bad.
And please, people, go buy some amazing BOSE headphones, this album needs it.
Last thought, I'm not so sure a lot of people will be able to engage in this album because it's too dense and rich. And I'm sure i'm gonna be very furious and full of rage when i read some negative comments and reviews on this album by journalist (who aren't even musicians) who wrote a review while not having listened to the whole album from A to Z. I doubt the music journalists (they have like 30 or 40 albums to review sometimes) will have the patience to go from track 1 to 2 to ... 17. That is without even mentioning the fact that most of them have a preconceived negative opinion on Lara Fabian. I just hope that if they only have 15 minutes or 30 minutes, they will go directly to the songs with the most original titles like "Gwenved" or "Kalpataru" or "P* the grand amour", "i am a-wa" and of couse the song "le secret" because it is the title of the album. I doubt they will understand why the album is called LE SECRET (even, myself, i'm not so sure why it's called that way.... is it because the album treats about the theme of what a secret is? is it because the word "secret" is in every song ? i dunno)
And, as i said before, to fully appreciate this album, it might be necessary to already be exposed to genres like Broadway plays, lyrical styles, and also, all kinds of baroque or epic/alternative styles of music like celtic and symphonic styles of music. Think "the dream within", the music of some of the most famous playstation games, music of movies etc etc
I can't really picture a guy who likes r&b stuff or uk pop-rock stuff able to like this album or even understand how great this album is.
This album is so good it deserves to NEVER leak on the internet. Yes, it is THAT good. So good you want to buy the real double CD because an artistic work like this deserves to be bought !
And voila, you guys. I hope you enjoyed my thoughts.
thank you all for your attention
3) "All the critics and many journalists are unanimous;" Lara Fabian returned to the limelight with a beautiful album. And it offers the public a conceptual, unpublished and confusing album. The Secret is in no way comparable to the previous opus of the singer, that is what always loved her, her voice soaring, a nod to its bases of lyrical singing. The Secret is an album that is located between the rock opera and film music. The sounds are well arranged tees, all blends with harmony and homogeneity. For example, "an Angel fell" is rather a rock sound while 'I dream of a star' is more melodic, the notes of the piano making soar all. Lara is inspired by Bizet's Opera of Carmen for the basis of his "P... by great love" and "Child of the Gwenved" will inevitably think "Humana" to the rhythm of the song. The interludes between songs are innovative and highlight each song. You'll have a sense of well-being and your mind will fly very quickly at the discretion of the melodies.
Lara evokes heavy themes in his new album, she will address the incest, anorexia but the addiction to social networks. Pretty feather of the artist accentuates well these texts Oh how poignant but actually frees the soul..
The Secret is a musical story of our self, found happiness. The inner happiness, a point that is all.

Lara Fabian offers today her new album, Le Secret. A disc of variety in which we find the powerful voice of the singer. Both soft and strong, this disc is a great success.
It was eight years ago that the public awaited a new French album with original tracks from Lara Fabian. After 9 in 2005 and the album of covers, Tous les femmes en moi, in 2009, the opus, The Secret, is now available in stores, on iTunes and GooglePlay. While she unveiled the single, Deux ils, Deux elles, there are sixteen other titles that are part of this project. One finds numerous romantic and melancholic ballads. Titles that highlight the voice of the young woman and it is a pleasure to hear it again without restraint.
Lara Fabian decided to create a special world with this album since the 17 songs are linked together seamlessly and are in total agreement. A disc that tells the story of a woman who has experienced many obstacles in her life but is finally happy and in love. And it is this happiness that one finds set to music by Janey Clewer, who had composed the title Bambina from the album Nue, Linenberg Giora, an Israeli who composed a song for Eurovision 2011, Flavien Companion, Gregg Mangiafico, Don Hart, Kurt Howell and Jenifer Mc Laren. It is Lara Fabian who wrote the lyrics. The singer delivers and puts word on the sublime compositions that have a cinematic, rock opera, symphonic and epic dimensioin. Some titles are also augmented with nature sounds such as animal noises and water.
We find beautiful moments gently with titles like Le Secret, Amourexique, Le Secret,, Je rve dune toiles, Deux Ils, Deux Elles,, but also moments with energetic pop songs, Danse, Un ange est tomb, Je tappelle, P de Grand Amour. There is also one piece in English to complete the record, I Am A-Wa which is one of our favorites. Old time fans should be delighted to find a Lara unpretentious and not afraid to let go of the power of voice. An album that is closer to the opus 9. A success that we can not wait to see live on stage configuration.
Lara Fabian will also go on tour throughout France next fall, but decided to present some of her new songs at a showcase at the Paris Theatre on April 15. Lara Fabian will be accompanied by eight musicians: a quartet, a classical guitar, drums, bass and accordion.
