Mark encouraged me to do this, so I using his advice, thanks Mark.
My site
Cyber Top Cops has really increased in popularity among various online users worldwide. Although my visitor statistics do not match up against the larger web sites, it does get a fairly amount of visitors each week, ranging between 200-300 unique visits and 500-600 page-loads per week.
The amount I'm receiving in advertising fees are now enabling my site to pay its own hosting fees which relieves me from some but not all financial burden running the site.
I have expanded the number of services my site is offering. I would appreciate it if you can refer friends and family to my site whenever they need any of the following services.
Below is a list of links to specific services offered at my site
I strongly encourage subscription to my
newsletter (Security Articles and News), it does not only bring you up to date with the latest security threats, but I also provide some insights in cyber security problems and solving them. I send out articles not on a very regular basis, but when I have more time I will send them out on a weekly basis, or when necessary so they never clutter your mailbox. The articles I send out are also published on my blog
www.cybertopcops.blogspot.com/ so whenever you miss an article you can always read it online.
I am also a big supporter of the Mozilla Firefox browser. With all the problems surrounding Internet Explorer, I always recommend Firefox as the better choice because it has increased security and functionality. You can always keep Internet Explorer on your PC as a a backup in order to view any web site that you have problems with viewing in Firefox (believe me there are very few of them), but there is also an Internet Explorer extension available to view Internet Explorer sites in Firefox. You can download Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar (for anti-phishing protection) for free from my web site:
www.cybertopcops.com/free-downloads.php#firefox. I was listed under the top 250 of Firefox referrers on spreadfirefox.com for the last week and two weeks before and I hope to be there again in the weeks to come. So I believe I'm doing the online community good for switching users to a more secure browser and making their online experience a safer one.
Read the following two reviews and you will understand why I claim that Mozilla Products has far better security than Microsoft's:
www.cybertopcops.com/review-mozilla-firefox.phpwww.cybertopcops.com/review-mozilla-thunderbird.phpI encourage people to report spam. You can forward all the spam and scam e-mails you receive to
spam@cybertopcops.com. I use these e-mails to stay up to date with the latest spam and scams circulating the web and I publish this information under the Hoaxes and Scams section of my site.
My newsletter, updates to my site and new additions to the Cyber Crime Reporting page are also available through RSS Feeds, which you can read with your favourite Feed aggregator, but this is rather new technology and not everyone is using it yet.
Cyber Top Cops is a site for the community so whenever you receive a suspicious e-mail, have strange behaviour on your PC which you believe may be virus or spyware related or unsure about the safety of specific web sites, do not hesitate to drop me an e-mail I will be glad to help. Thanks again for your continuing support up to now, I really appreciate it.
