As expected, notification has come out that 'TLFM' is the next single from the album of the same name. It is listed on the 'charts in France' site, which also shows the cover for the single, at:
www.chartsinfrance.net/Lara-Fabian/news-68451.html
while palo1 on Laradom noted the publicity for it at:
www.ptitblog.net/actualites/article-lara-fabian-sort-le-single-toutes-les-femmes-en-moi-3527.html
The 'release' of a single does not necessarily mean a disc per se that would be available in stores - it is primarily for radio promotions. However, it appears as it can be downloaded from
www.ultratop.be/en/showitem.asp?interpret=Lara+Fabian&titel=Toutes+les+femmes+en+moi&cat=s
As evident from this last site, in addition to the album version, there is a 'single' version that is some 9 seconds shorter.
An article on the site 'evous.france' says about it (in translation) "After the shining 'Soleil Soleil', the title song of her last album 'Toutes les femmes en moi'. The piece is rhythmic, the words are full of hope, the voice is always beautiful, but it is quite far from the old hits of the diva…While Celine Dion is reaching to rejuvenate her repertoire by choosing tones more rock in the image of her hit 'Taking Chances', Lara Fabian seems to be working hard to leave her image as 'Singer of Voice' ".
It's unclear if there will be an official video for the song - the first site given above uses her performance in Belarus, the only time she has actually performed it live (albeit lip-synching). However, one could imagine a wonderful video - with the pictures (or videos) of the various women singers whom she celebrates. However, she might have to get their permission, which you can imagine might be problematic in some cases!
As to this choice: some fans disagreed with it, and in fact disagreed with 'Soleil Soleil', preferring 'Gottingen'. Undoubtedly, Lara is testing the concept that the reason the first single didn't get airplay was that it was a reprise, whereas an original song might get a better reception (as suggested in the interview by 'Platine magazine'). However, the official release date was listed as August 10 - which means it's been out for several weeks. Fans said the only station they heard it on was 'France bleu', which has become Lara's personal promotion station. Personally, I think 'Gottingen' would have been a better choice as well - but I also think nothing will induce most of the French radio stations to play Lara's work at this time. She will have to force their attention by her constant touring and TV appearances, at least for this reprises album.
On the official site, Lara has put the following message (in translation) (see also larafabiannews.com):

My Angels
I would like to assemble some pieces of history between us: concerts, meetings between fans (with or without me), autograph sessions, television shows, etc.
Send me your most beautiful photos* at the following address:
mesanges@larafabian.com
I prepare a surprise for you to discover at my next concerts…

Fans were quite happy with this announcement, as it suggested that Lara was once again trying to get closer to them. The general thought was that it would be a montage played during one of her songs (or even during a medley - see below). One would imagine Lara could put together a nice compendium from all that the fans have collected over the years - hopefully it will then be made generally available (e.g. on the official website), not just viewed by fans at the concerts.
[Another thing this announcement indicates is that when Lara wants to use the official site, she does - otherwise, as you may have noticed, it is not kept up-to-date (events, messages, TV shows, etc. are months old)].
On the official site forum, mickey2009 posted information that came from
jadorelespotins.canalblog.com/
It stated that Lara had begun rehearsals for her fall tour. It says she will use special effects never before seen in France, and she will 'take with her' the women who have marked her by means of 'some surprises'. In the past, Lara has mentioned holograms - perhaps that's what she has in mind (and which would be great for a video of TLFM).
The site also provide the list of songs to be sung. While this falls in a 'believe it or not' category, here it is: (for those who want to be surprised, skip this section…)

A truly imaginative and varied set list, with contributions from her whole career - and if true, would make a great DVD as well!
More news about the tour: Lara's third show at the Zenith in Paris, on October 9th, has been cancelled (according to Nathalie on the official forum). The reason apparently is that Lara was having trouble getting enough ticket sales for the second show (she is to be there on the 7th and 8th). When the schedule was originally announced, there was general skepticism that she would be able to fill this 2500 seat house three nights in a row, but I suppose one can always dream.
And Cine-Tele Review is inviting 10 readers to enter a contest with the prize being attending Lara's rehearsal on Sept. 13 for her upcoming concerts in Belgium. Fans need to send in letters giving their motivation for attending. As one fan noted, too bad this announcement was not provided by the fan club.
It was noted by 'leffe65' on the official site that Lara will be on BelTRL radio tomorrow, the program 'Beau Fixe', promoting TLFM (the album). It will be on from 9:15-11 AM (Belgian time). See the site:
