Today I found (yes I had to log into my account to find this out, they did not even e-mail me to let me know) that my Un Regard 9 DVD will only be available (to Amazon) after 25 December, which means I will get the package no sooner than 31 January 2007. This really sucks, I can't see what's the problem, if Joanna's aunt was able to buy it from a local Belgium store, what's the problem with Amazon. Polydor is a good record company, so I can't believe the problem lies with them. And best of all it is Amazon.fr. I would have understood if it was Amazon.com, because Amazon.com is not a local online shop for Lara's products and they have to import most of Lara's stuff, but Amazon.fr is a local store, so what's up with them! And it is not that I'm jealous of Joanna, I'm glad she does not have to wait as long as me. Hey I'm sounding like a child not getting his Christmas presents on time ;D, I guess that's the price to pay if you really want a specific item. Maybe I should just have ordered the DVD (but I really want the bonus content that comes with the DVD/CD combo) Doesn't matter how you look at it, Amazon.fr sucks - Period!

That's horrible! I guess there are reasons why I always wait for the Canadian release of Lara's stuff. Hope you find some way to get it sooner.

Hey guys, I'm still waiting for Un Regard 9 but got the following e-mail today. Can someone please check it for me, I want to make sure I understand it correctly. I chose to have Amazon delay the shipping of the package until all items are ready (to save on shipping costs, importing to South Africa costs an arm and a leg these days). Will Amazon carry the costs of the other shipment or do they still suck. Thanks!

From what I understand, Amazon France is going to send you the available items now and when the delayed items become available they will send them to you at no extra cost than the cost they originally quoted. I'm not positive about this. I will try to go over it again some other time more carefully (there's alot of words I don't understand, so I'm not 100% sure that is what it means).

Thank you so much Leona, you are great. You cleared it all up and removed the confusion I had about this matter.
Perhaps they read my e-mail I sent to Paula when I told her about their bad service and decided to send the one item in advance, although I said that they should wait until all items are ready. But they are sending me the other item free of charge in this case, I'm only paying the original shipping fee.
They normally charge you a fixed fee per shipping plus a fee per item. So they are shipping two items, but I'm only paying as if it was one shipment. I guess they started to feel sorry for me and appreciated my patience with them for waiting so long.
Well I haven't yet heard anything about Un Regard 9 so I have to wait and see.
Once again thanks Leona, you were very kind to help me. You will make a good client support agent for Amazon.fr (Send them a bill for your services rendered here at the forum) ;D

I believe that is Amazon's policy. That happened to me before where I asked to send all items together. After waiting a while they sent some items then the delayed item at a different time. They did not charge me any more for shipping.

i bought my Un Regard 9 combo, among other cds, from amazon.fr too coz i couldn`t wait, and personally i had no problems.
