I recently went home for a few days and when I came back to work there was a new guy. It usually takes me a few days to get comfortable around someone but this guy made me feel very uncomfortable. That was before I noticed him staring at me at times during the day while I was working and the fact that he didn't respect my personal space like the other people at work did. It really disturbed me and at the same time scared me a bit. So on Thrusday morning I talked to one of my supervisors about it. He was out of a job by the time I left that day. I'm so glad that I don't have to deal with that anymore and I can feel safe at work again.

Glad to hear that it worked out ok. These days we get a lot of weird people in our lives and there is nothing more frustrating than people showing no respect for your personal space. And it is even more frustrating when people have no respect for you as a person.

I believe that a woman has a special inbuilt ability to sense and recognize the things that would make her feel uncomfortable. I also believe that a man knows very well when he is projecting that feeling on a woman. You were right to trust your 'inner antenna' Leona.
If there is one necessary quality about management, it is leadership. I am glad that your supervisor addressed the situation and that the problem is solved, regardless of how much or little had to be done.
Most of all, I am glad to know that you feel better about your surroundings. It's good to know that you can live in peace and feel safe.

Hey Leona I am glad, for you, that he's gone too. There is no room at a work place for someone like that.
