A few different ‘celebration’ days received the focus of Lara’s attention this past week, honoring different specific groups of people. First was “Quebec Day”, on Thursday, June 24, obviously primarily relevant to those with some sort of affiliation to the province. Lara left the following picture,

or
with the accompanying text, “Happy birthday to my beautiful majestic province, may this day be sweet and bright, I love you 😘”
Here’s the info on it:
“Saint Jean Baptiste Day, held annually on June 24, is the feast day of St John the Baptist, a Jewish preacher who baptized Jesus in the River Jordan. It is a day of celebration in Quebec and other areas of French Canada. Saint Jean Baptiste Day is also known as "la Saint-Jean", "St John the Baptist Day", "Fête nationale du Québec" and "Quebec's National Holiday".
Then it was the “March of Pride” in France day, June 26, focusing on the LGBTQ community. Lara left a picture from her official video of “La difference”, at

along with the caption, “In 1996, I sang ′′ La difference...”
25 years later this song is still relevant...
On this day of March of Pride in France, I'm blowing these words again to you my LGBTQ friends... ′′The difference, when you think about it, but what difference? ...
So walk and be proud of who you are ❤️🏳️
I love you 💕

Finally, and the most specific, was the celebration of her wedding anniversary on June 27th, now 8 years ago, as shown in the pictures at

and this commentary read, “
8 years of marriage, 9 years of love... we are entering the decade...”

Lara Fabian marks eight years of marriage with stunning photos
Such a beautiful couple!
The superb Lara Fabian today celebrates eight years of marriage and nine years of love with her spouse, Gabriel Di Giorgio.
In a publication made on social networks, she wrote: “8 years of marriage, 9 years of love… we are entering the decade…."
Beautiful images of the couple accompany this post. We can see the lovers swimming in full happiness.
See the result below.
It was in 2012 that their paths crossed, when Gabriel Di Giorgio, Sicilian magician, participated in the musical Casanova, for which Lara Fabian was giving singing lessons.
For love, the magician later put his career aside to follow Lara Fabian and take care of her daughter, Lou, from a previous union with Gérard Pullicino.
We got to see the family recently at Star Académie, as well as in a rare couple interview with Sucré Salé .
Moreover, Lara Fabian has confirmed that she will be back as director of the Academy in 2022, news that we greatly hoped for!
----------------------------------------------
And we got to see much more of Gabriel in the 'Lara' documentary.
In other news, the segment of Lara’s appearance on the program “The Keys of Success” (which we discussed a few weeks ago) was made available at:

Here’s the text:
-------------------------------------------------
"Lara Fabian Offers The Simplicity of Being Ourselves”
Lara: Identifying yourself with the experience that life provides does not allow you to live and taste the experience.
Host: So it means, basically: Taking it in the ego...prevents us from enjoying the path.
Lara: Yes. And the ego, it is “me”. The ego it is also what makes us breathe, think, absorb, restore. The ego once again in the etymological sense, is not a negative variable! Of course, it is a variable, but it is not necessarily negative. But when this ego has fun believing that what he lives is "for him" or "against him" or "by him" and that gets him lost and disconnected from this exchange with life, well, that's when it starts to become painful, the experience, that the experience starts to become a suffering and we are taught very early to disconnect ourselves very very early!
We are taught very early that instinct is not an intelligence, we are taught very early that our heightened sensitivities or our impressions are chimeras! That we should be stronger than that, brighter than that, more knowledgeable than that...and very early we are made into questioning machines but not in the right way! Machines, not to question ourselves with integrity, with rightness to find the way of who we are, but machines that question the fundamental functioning of our instinct! And who end up getting lost in a series of beliefs, judgments, dogmas, fears, which crystallize the most atrocious pains of our humanity.
It's a big sentence this: "Crystallizing the most atrocious pains of our humanity". But I see so many people suffering so, so, so much from not being who they are! Not to offer themselves the freedom, the simplicity, I should say, to be who they are! That's it!
--------------------------------------
As usual, quite profound…and undoubtedly very relevant for Lara as well. This is also what she was constantly telling the Academicians on the Star Academie – be yourself. And it is consistent with her last words to the LGBTQ community, in her commentary above.

Many are not to be missed!
The big event this coming week is Lara’s appearance on “Lumieres sur la fete du Canada”, July 1st, to be televised by Ici Radio-Canada at 8 pm EST. As noted previously, it will give the whole country of Canada a chance to see Lara – hopefully that will be true for the rest of us as well, via videos at least. Stay safe everybody.
