A number of different items appeared this past week, in addition to story lines necessitated by the restraints imposed by the virus, and the airing of the latest show of the Voice. Lara was the subject of the program “50 min inside”. A (10 minute) video is available at:
and it is a wonderful video indeed, produced by TF1. It shows Lara’s hotel room while in France for The Voice, wonderful scenes of her 50 World tour birthday concert in Brussels, her meeting with Pierre-Yves Duchesne at AICOM (and you can see how prominent Lara’s picture is there), Garou coming by to greet her at the studios for The Voice; but my favorite is her Father, backstage at the Brussels concert, saying that starting from his playing the guitar while she sang as a girl, he had no idea, it was impossible, that she would become this big international star. A wonderful tribute in these trying times.
In addition, Lara tried to amuse people a bit, with the following photo:
and the question, “What is the game behind me?” The obvious answer, Monopoly, was remarked on by many; and it looks from what we can see that it is the original version.
Then Lara offered a little bit of music on her Instagram site, singing a bit of “We Are the Flyers” with Gabriel playing the piano in the background.
Her comment was, “At the start of this new confined week ... just a little music, because it feels good ... 🙏 ♥ ️💕💋
11 a.m.”
Lara was on the cover of ‘Montreal enSante (https://www.facebook.com/MontrealenSante/photos/a.1057126711004778/3092085617508867/?type=3&theater) this past week. As they write, “At home? We’re online! Flip through every issue of Montréal enSanté at your leisure, including our new Spring 2020 – WOMEN'S HEALTH – Issue with Lara Fabian on the cover. Happy reading! #stayhome #plankthecurve”
The article on Lara can be found at on p.31:

Here’s what it says (it’s written in both French and English):
------------------------------
October 8th, 2017. Lara Fabian knows the exact date she moved back to Montreal, this time with her husband and daughter. It turned out the recording booths in Belgium and the stages in the south of Spain were no match for our city’s big charm. Thirty years after stepping foot on what she then called paradise, Ms. Fabian now calls home.
“You know, where you’re born is normally where you’re from. But then, you land in a place that becomes your second birth. That’s where you realize this is your country, your mentality, it’s so familiar. This is what happened to me in Quebec.”, said the Belgium-born, Sicily-raised singer-songwriter.
You could say this perceptive passion for her roots is what led the pop star to the distinguished career she has today but began forging long before her Canadian citizenship. “My mother and grandmother were both great singers; my dad would grab a guitar then all of us would be singing songs we loved. It’s how we shared a Sunday together,” said Ms. Fabian of her musical childhood. “I was contaminated by the joy of sharing music, not by the will or the wish of becoming a star – it was about sharing the moments that would bring us together.”
After her 30-year long vocational journey, with 20 million records sold worldwide and her status of best-selling Belgian-born female artist of all time, Ms Fabian never lost sight of her reason for performing. That’s why to celebrate her 50th birthday and 30 years in the industry, she chose to share herself in concert around the world, a tour she’s entitled “50 World Tour”.
“The idea is to do 50 dates and visit almost 35 cities to celebrate these two anniversaries and to say thank you to all these people that have made me who I am. It could have been called “the gratitude tour,” she noted.
Although the tour name acknowledges the milestone that is her golden jubilee, to Ms Fabian, 50 is simply a number that she regards with generosity. “To me, this number is the capacity that you have gathered throughout the years to look at your journey with a certain amount of kindness and goodwill and finally tasting moment after moment.” But to our household name, summarizing a journey in a number is “a little reductive,” she said, stating that the significance of her tour lies more in merci than bonne fete.
Indeed recapping Ms. Fabian’s journey is no easy task. After winning multiple European singing contests in her youth, the then 20-year old took a leap of faith and moved to Montreal to kick-start her musical career. Here, after releasing her self self-titled French album came her breakthrough one, Carpe Diem. With fluency in four languages, her lyrical talent flourish in our multilingual metropolis, which allowed her to spread her wings and springboard from country to country and continent to continent with her increasing fame. Walt Disney Studios even cast her as Esmeralda in the French version of the feature film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.
Fast forward to the 2000s when you couldn’t turn on the radio or go out dancing without hearing Ms. Fabian’s No. 1 hit, “I Will Love Again”, one of the greatest party tracks of the decade. Add to that her anti-homophobia anthem “La difference”, heartbreak hymn “Je suis malade” and 14 albums, countless singles and prestigious honours by the Felix Awards the IFPI Platinum Europe Awards, and World Music Awards.
With what can only be described as a reputable career, one can imagine what is must have taken for Ms. Fabian to secure her place in the music industry. The star chalks that up to the dreamer within. “Looking back, I think if I hadn’t been naïve, if I hadn’t believed in certain unbelievable things or nurtured this dream, I would never have gone this far. The child in me is definitely the one that made me go through this journey.
And Ms. Fabian said her 12-year old child Lou, is what keeps her going today, saying she’s the reason behind her indefatigable determination. “I feel that when Lou looks at me that I’m somehow an inspiration for her. That I’m 50, but I’m still working the way I am and still doing what I do at the level that I’m doing it. She looks at me with a lot of pride and to see that my little girl is happy that I’m her mom…that inspires me.”
As a mother before all else, Ms. Fabian doesn’t let her celebrity status get in the way of family time. Between working as judge on France’s 'The Voice – la plus belle voix', and flying across the globe for her 50 World tour, she cherishes every moment she gets to spend in her quaint home here in Westmount. “When your life is an airplane mixed with a suitcase it’s very important when you come back home to have simplicity and an ordinary life. We cook together, watch movies together, like any normal family would."
Well, any normal family from Montreal, that is. They love to mosey around, smelling every rose along the way, they spend afternoons at Mount Royal together – their fur baby included, they go to the market to pick the freshest ingredients, ones Ms. Fabian will later cook with alongside her daughter.
It’s no wonder she says cooking is her second passion, what with all that bonus family time. Keen on living a healthy lifestyle, the singer’s palette is quite precise. She stays away from gluten, lactose and meats, shifting from vegetarian to vegan. She fuels her body with tons of vegetables, healthy juices, and squeezes in Pilates and yoga whenever she can
When it comes to taking care of her precious pipes, Ms. Fabian admits a big part of her process is a good night’s sleep. “If I don’t’ get my nine to 10 hours, my voice doesn’t respond in the same way. So, sleep is the first thing I do. Secondly, I don’t smoke or do anything that could damage my heath,” she said, conceding that a glass of wine never hurt anyone.
But her main secret to keeping healthy is surrounding herself with good people “To have energy around you, to be in a place where there’s a healthy way of thinking…that makes all the difference to me.”
Ms. Fabian is all about finding happiness in every corner of her life. That’s why, if she could give her younger self one piece of advice, it would be to understand that happiness is an action followed by a state of mind, not the opposite. “It isn’t a concept. You concretely involve yourself in happiness and it’s something that you commit yourself to and speak to for a lifetime”, she explained in perfect prose. Ms. Fabian’s talent and resilience are the gifts that keep on giving. Her complexities run deeper than her raw vocal and lyrical abilities, residing in both her cultural background and free-spirited outlook on life - one that is unequivocally and irrefutably Quebecoise.

En chemin (On My Way)
Fabian, Denebi, Vaughn
My suitcase already buckled
Above all don't forget anything
Can we only get used to it
Of course I dream of the stage
To sing is all I love
But on the road, my heart is bleeding
The loneliness of travel
These empty hours out of touch
To give me courage
I close my eyes again
I already see myself, I already see myself
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home
From city to city in hotels
Sleep, fold your wings
Before the day breaks
Going on the routes again
With my checked baggage
Alone with my laughs
Lost in my doubts
Even if my body drags itself
In front of you I was queen
My soul, my soul is serene
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home
Last date, last cheers
Thousand thanks for all that
I keep you with me
On the way home
To home
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home

C’est la heure (It's time)
Fabian, Hesme, Vaughn and Denebi
KO’d total when I wake up
How to survive the pain
We are bottles
At sea
Which only contain our mistakes
Selfies show off, what arrogance
Skin of sorrow our existences
I'm bleeding
Who can heal wounds
Of a future without future
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the Light
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the earth
It's Ground Zero, no more hope
The horizon is just a wall in flames
Maybe there remains a chance
To end our tears
Fake news, synthetic sobs
Likes and pathetic profiles
The trouble
Never exclude prayers
More than one thing to do
It's time, time
It's time
To find the Light
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the earth
Survive this hell
Clear all redo
It's time
Awaken our consciences
Rediscover our 5 senses
So that tomorrow dances
It's time

Undefeated Love
Fabian, Vaughn, Krutoi
Sometimes it feels like everything’s
Changing in our world
Sometimes I fear forgetting
I know how to fly
Looking for somewhere
To land that is green and plentiful
Places that were so beautiful
Are nearly gone
Can’t forget we’re soldiers
This is on our shoulders
Cowards may retreat
Well that’s not you and me
We’re undefeatable
Armies fall before us
We are unbeatable
If we don’t stand alone
The power’s in our hands
I will not give up on us
We’ll fall then fight again
With undefeated love
Where will my children drink
If the rivers all run dry
Leaving just tracks of ignorance
In the sand
I want to live but don’t want
To live here all alone
If everything irreplaceable
Has gone
Can’t forget we’re soldiers
This is on our shoulders
Cowards may retreat
Well that’s not you and me
We’re undefeatable
Armies fall before us
We are unbeatable
Course we don’t stand alone
The power’s in our hands
I will not give up on us
We’ll fall then fight again
With undefeated love

The general public has already heard “C’est la heure” as it was made available as a promo for the new version of the album. All three songs have catchy refrains/choruses, an upbeat tempo appropriate for Papillon, and are worth listening to. Ironically, Lara’s wish to be at home in ‘En chemin” has come VERY TRUE. The battle discussed in Undefeated Love, and the way to win it, is with us right now. And the ultimate solution to problems like those we’re currently encountering is addressed in “C’est la heure”. Like all good art, these songs will apply in all situations, but they are especially relevant to the current one. And like all good artists, whose ‘job’ is to understand current trends and predict where they’re going, Lara is prescient! [Thanks again to Josh for his generosity].
Then it is on to The Voice. Once again a shorter show, lasting only one hour, and also only Marc’s team performed. Here’s an (obvious) article describing why (https://www.programme-tv.net/news/evenement/the-voice-9/252465-the-voice-pourquoi-vous-ne-verrez-finalement-que-les-k-o-de-marc-lavoine-ce-soir/), translated below:
---------------------------------------------
The Voice: why you'll only see Marc Lavoine's knockouts tonight
After the blind auditions and the battles, The Voice 2020 continues this Saturday, April 4 with the stage of K.O.! An unprecedented event whose programming was disrupted at the last minute. Explanations.
The live lives of The Voice 2020 are only at hand for the talents of TF1's reality show! This Saturday, April 4, the identity of the first three finalists who will access the major live prime time shows to be held at the Palais des sports on Saturday, May 2 and 9, will be revealed. During this new stage of the adventure, each coach will see their last 7 talents perform a song of their choice on stage. At the end of each performance, Amel Bent, Marc Lavoine, Pascal Obispo and Lara Fabian will have to buzz (or not) the talent to take it (or not) further into the adventure. If the coach buzzes, the talent is qualified for the live semi-final of The Voice, if the coach does not buzz, the talent is eliminated immediately. However, each coach can only take 3 talents to the Palais des sports. If Amel Bent, Marc Lavoine, Pascal Obispo and Lara Fabian end the evening with a fourth talent, they will have to make a choice (Cornelian) and oust a talent they had previously selected earlier in the evening.
Hustle programming to delay the prime-time lives and in public as much as possible
This Saturday, April 4, the last seven talents of Marc Lavoine will therefore compete on the stage of The Voice. Thus, Louise Combier, Michael Bucquet, Ifé, Antoine Délie, Antony Trice, Yoann Dejean and Löis Vacchetta will try to win their ticket for the lives. But this Saturday, April 4, 2020, you should have discovered other talents on stage. Indeed, during the launch of the ninth edition of The Voice, ITV Studios France and TF1 had decided that the knockout stage would only last two weeks. That these two evenings would make it possible to discover the teams of two coaches. Because of the health crisis affecting the planet, the chain and the production company of the show decided to shake up their programming to delay as much as possible the arrival of the live and public bonuses which must take place at the Palais des sports (more 3,500 spectators) ... and who, given the current situation, obviously cannot go as planned. The production therefore decided that each coach of The Voice would be entitled to his knockout night throughout the month of April. Enough to be able to produce the premiums directly on Saturdays May 2 and 9? Not sure...
-----------------------------------------------
The show started with a song honoring health care workers, who are literally putting their lives on the line to help save people – something none of them ever thought they were signing up for. Great courage, great generosity, we bow our heads for their amazing sacrifice. The video is available at this site:
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-pour-les-gens-du-secours-le-clip-88546301.html
The coaches then opened the knockouts, with the song ‘Quand la musique est bonne’ of Jean-Jaques Goldman
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-les-coachs-ouvrent-les-ko-sur-quand-la-musique-est-bonne-de-jean-jacques-goldman-53058919.html
On to the knockouts themselves, songs are chosen by the candidates (rather than by the coaches, as in the previous round). As noted in the article above, the rule here is that if the coach wants the candidate to go on to the next round, he/she hits the red button. Only three candidates can go on; if the coach chooses more than three, he has to decide which three to keep. And that happened here.
As noted above, this was a show with only Marc’s candidates (most of whom sang like him), which, as you might imagine, did not promise or result in the most scintillating of experiences.
1a)Antoine Delie sang "Comme ils disent" of Charles Aznavour
The one truly beautiful rendition of the evening, wonderful voice, highly creative. Marc did hit the button for him, waiting to the end, as was his habit all night.
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-antoine-delie-chante-comme-ils-disent-de-charles-aznavour-ko-56525941.html
1b)Loïs Vaccheta sang "Come Together" from the Beatles
Perfect song and presentation for somebody who has no voice to speak of; he played electric guitar as well. This was probably the best he could do. Marc did not choose him (which turned out to be a bit unfair, but he should never have won the previous round, so maybe sometimes it evens out).
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-lois-vaccheta-chante-come-together-des-beatles-ko-92348631.html
1c) Louise Combier sang “Tous les bateaux, tous les oiseaux” of Michel Polnareff.
A typical ‘French female’ singer, atmospheric, not much of a voice. Marc hit the red button for her – maybe because she was the only female candidate left for him (and also because, as detailed below, she was an emotional favorite of his).
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-louise-combier-chante-tous-les-bateaux-tous-les-oiseaux-de-michel-polnareff-ko-42271675.html
1d) Michael Bucquet sang "One" of U2
Interesting (male atmospheric) voice, Marc and Pascal really seemed to like him, it seemed to bring forth tears. Marc did not choose him, even though he was clearly better than Louise Combier. Marc seemed quite upset about it, and thought he had made a mistake.
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-michael-bucquet-chante-one-de-u2-ko-02951909.html
1e) Yoann Dejean sang "Elle est d’ailleurs" of Pierre Bachelet
Atmospheric, not a great voice but good enough, a lot of confidence, Marc and Pascal again really liked him, but Marc did not choose him.
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-yoann-dejean-chante-elle-est-dailleurs-de-pierre-bachelet-ko-47340816.html
1f) Antony Trice sang "Si t’étais là" of Louane
Typical Marc-type singer, and Marc chose him.
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-antony-trice-chante-si-tetais-la-de-louane-ko-98145018.html
1g) Ifè sang "Glory Box" de Portishead
Performer more than a singer, speaking 2/3 of the time, though it seems he can sing a bit when he wants to. Marc chose him.
www.tf1.fr/tf1/the-voice/videos/the-voice-2020-ife-chante-glory-box-de-portishead-ko-78109297.html
So Marc had chosen four and had to pick three – the one he left out was Louise Combier. She really should never have been picked in the first place, but that was also true of several of his other choices. Given that most of them were not good singers, there really wasn’t much to choose from. Nevertheless, Marc managed to overlook two of the better performances (Lois Vachetta, and Michael Bucquet).
An article about this result appeared in Tele-Loisirs (https://www.programme-tv.net/news/evenement/the-voice-9/252488-louise-combier-the-voice-eliminee-par-marc-lavoine-a-la-derniere-seconde-ca-a-ete-la-douche-froide/); here’s the translation:

Louise Combier (The Voice) eliminated by Marc Lavoine at the last second: "It was the cold shower ..."
At the last minute, Marc Lavoine had to choose between his last 4 talents during the knockout stage in The Voice. For Télé-Loisirs.fr, Louise Combier returned to her surprise elimination.
Louise (The Voice) returns to Marc Lavoine's tears: "He is really very involved"
She was the protégé of Marc Lavoine! In three performances on the stage of The Voice 2020, Louise Combier had made cry ... 3 times, the new coach of TF1's reality TV show. But during the knockout stage, after having selected her for the live shows of the program, Marc Lavoine finally chose to eliminate her at the last minute. It is therefore with Anthony Trice, Antoine Délie and Ifé that the 57-year-old singer-songwriter will try to win The Voice 2020 during the major live broadcasts planned in a few weeks. For Télé-Loisirs.fr, Louise Combier agreed to reconsider her adventure The Voice, her relationships with Marc Lavoine and the rest of her career. Interview.
Télé-Loisirs: How do you experience media coverage since blind auditions?
Louise Combier: I live it very well. I received beautiful messages from viewers on social networks. I am happy because I feel that an audience is forming around me and that they are interested in my work. The Voice opened doors, made me gain visibility ... Not to mention the artists who want to meet me, concerts that you can ask of me.
Have you had any contact with record labels?
LC: Yes, an album is in preparation which will be released within a year I think. It will be released with the same independent label with which I worked before The Voice. It will be an EP of 5 titles that I compose and that I am currently building. It will be songs in French around the theme of love.
Let's go back to The Voice. 3rd stage, 3rd time you make cry Marc Lavoine: what is it like to make a French song star cry?
LC: To be honest, I was so into my song that I forgot I was on The Voice stage. I even skipped this buzzer story to access the lives, so even today, I can hardly remember the reaction of Marc Lavoine on this service. After, it’s sure that it touches me to have moved Marc Lavoine so much during this adventure. That's flattering.
We have had the impression throughout your journey that he had tenderness and kindness towards you. Which coach has he been for you?
LC: It was an extraordinary meeting. Before The Voice, I knew his songs but not so much the artist. I discovered a cultivated and sensitive character. From my hearing, I felt a connection between us. I felt really close to him. As a coach, he has always been fair and sincere.
During your visit, he buzzes and selects you for the live shows: what did you feel at the time?
LC: I can't believe it, I don't believe it. For me, during rehearsals for knockouts, I had a feeling, an intuition. I already thought he was going to take Anthony Trice, Antoine Délie and Ifé to the lives so I was destabilized when I understood that he had buzzed to take me further in the adventure. I was shocked but happy of course.
How did you experience the long minutes / hours in the seat watching other talents go by?
LC: It’s horrible… It’s hard because, when Marc Lavoine was not buzzing for a talent, we could not rejoice when in the end, it meant that we, we were continuing the adventure. And since we all got closer with the battles and rehearsals it was horrible to live. It’s really long. When I saw Ifé arrive, I knew that Marc Lavoine was going to hit the buzzer ... After that I have great memories of these minutes with Antoine Délie.
And Marc Lavoine buzzed Ifé and chooses not to keep you for the lives ... What did you feel?
LC: It’s the cold shower, of course. I remember we were all holding hands and spontaneously I let go of the boys' hands. It sounds weird obviously. But when I left the stage, I was almost happy! It boosted me to move forward. I wanted to compose, to free my mind. The Voice takes a long time. It's a lot of investment. After that, for sure, I had a little depression when I got home but I think that it is no longer the consequences of the end of a great adventure.
---------------------------------
This is a crazy system, which results in a candidate being chosen, and then being ‘unchosen’, having hopes raised and then dashed. What should be done is the coach should listen to all 7 candidates, and then provide the names of the top three. On most reality TV shows the winner(s) are chosen after all the candidates perform. Common sense is sorely lacking here.
Lara had very little involvement in this show at all; the cameras didn’t even acknowledge her very often. Actually, the last several weeks she has been quiet. Really, only Pascal and Marc had anything to say. But as noted, there were really supposed to be candidates from one of the other coaches, maybe even Lara’s.
There will be only three more knockouts, which will take us up to the beginning of May, and it’s impossible to believe that live shows with a studio audience will be allowed even then. An article about that appeared at (https://www.programme-tv.net/news/evenement/the-voice-9/252483-the-voice-les-primes-en-direct-au-palais-des-sports-pourront-ils-vraiment-avoir-lieu-debut-mai/). Here’s the translation:
------------------------------
The Voice: can live prime time shows at the Palais des sports really take place in early May?
The semi-final and the final of The Voice 2020 must logically take place on May 2 and 9. Hard to believe given the health situation that affects France ... But how will TF1 do it? Explanations.
For three weeks, the beginning of the confinement imposed by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, The Voice teams have had to face a real headache. Launched on January 18 on TF1, the ninth season of the reality show must end with two major live primes: a semi-final and a final! This year, to make its live shows even more eventful, ITV Studios France and TF1 decided to relocate them to one of the biggest performance halls in Paris, that of the Palais des sports, capable of accommodating up to 4,600 spectators…Problem: with the measures taken during the health crisis affecting France and the entire planet, it is impossible to realize these primes directly on the dates initially planned.
The Voice 2020 semi-final and final to be held May 2,9
To give themselves time, TF1 and the production company have therefore shortened each episode of the reality show. So the last of the Battles which was to be scheduled on Saturday March 21 was cut into two evenings (the 21 and the 28). As for the knockout stage which begins this Saturday, April 4 at 9:10 p.m., it will be divided into four evenings instead of two. The semi-final and the final of The Voice 2020 must therefore take place on Saturday May 2 and 9 ... Increasingly unthinkable at a time when confinement is extended from week to week ... What are TF1 solutions and what will it choose to close the ninth season of The Voice?
For the time being, the chain and the production company inform us that no decision has been made. The fact remains that The Voice is one of the biggest marquee shows on French television and that ITV Studios France can hardly be seen offering a low cost show for its live primes, supposed to end in climax for the season. According to an internal source, the two direct primes for The Voice 2020 could therefore be postponed into June. If the confinement is prolonged, the hypothesis of a broadcast of emissions in September is studied. It will be necessary to take this pain patiently to know the identity of the talent that will succeed Whitney, big winner of the 8th season of The Voice last year.

It is “a little morning greeting with a small (living) picture” from Lara.
And then there is Lara in her dressing room for The Voice, from the Lara Fabian web FB site

The knockouts for The Voice continue, and it’s a good bet that the team to be covered will be either Lara or Amel (after the male coach, Marc had his turn). Lara has a good team – finding only three will be a tough decision. Nevertheless, if I had to bet it would be: Cheyenne; Enzo S; and Margau. And of course, the virus restrictions will continue too…Stay safe, everybody.

and it is a wonderful video indeed, produced by TF1.

Here’s what it says (it’s written in both French and English):

--------------------------------------------
Like her father, Lara looking back feels that what she has accomplished was indeed 'impossible', and only came about because she didn't realize that ahead of time.
In an item of a different sort, we know that Lara postponed the release of Papillon(s), which had been scheduled for March 20th, due to the corona virus impact. However, Josh (in a story used by permission) had ordered it from FNAC, and actually received it before that date. So he now has one of the few available copies, at this point in time. More to the point, he provided pictures of the official lyrics to the three songs, and the English translations for the first two are provided below (the third song shown below was already in English):
-------------------------En chemin (On My Way)
Fabian, Denebi, Vaughn
My suitcase already buckled
Above all don't forget anything
Can we only get used to it
Of course I dream of the stage
To sing is all I love
But on the road, my heart is bleeding
The loneliness of travel
These empty hours out of touch
To give me courage
I close my eyes again
I already see myself, I already see myself
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home
From city to city in hotels
Sleep, fold your wings
Before the day breaks
Going on the routes again
With my checked baggage
Alone with my laughs
Lost in my doubts
Even if my body drags itself
In front of you I was queen
My soul, my soul is serene
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home
Last date, last cheers
Thousand thanks for all that
I keep you with me
On the way home
To home
On the way home,
To home
On the way home
To home
-------------------------------------
C’est la heure (It's time)
Fabian, Hesme, Vaughn and Denebi
KO’d total when I wake up
How to survive the pain
We are bottles
At sea
Which only contain our mistakes
Selfies show off, what arrogance
Skin of sorrow our existences
I'm bleeding
Who can heal wounds
Of a future without future
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the Light
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the earth
It's Ground Zero, no more hope
The horizon is just a wall in flames
Maybe there remains a chance
To end our tears
Fake news, synthetic sobs
Likes and pathetic profiles
The trouble
Never exclude prayers
More than one thing to do
It's time, time
It's time
To find the Light
It's time, time
It's time
To return to the earth
Survive this hell
Clear all redo
It's time
Awaken our consciences
Rediscover our 5 senses
So that tomorrow dances
It's time

Undefeated Love
Fabian, Vaughn, Krutoi
Sometimes it feels like everything’s
Changing in our world
Sometimes I fear forgetting
I know how to fly
Looking for somewhere
To land that is green and plentiful
Places that were so beautiful
Are nearly gone
Can’t forget we’re soldiers
This is on our shoulders
Cowards may retreat
Well that’s not you and me
We’re undefeatable
Armies fall before us
We are unbeatable
If we don’t stand alone
The power’s in our hands
I will not give up on us
We’ll fall then fight again
With undefeated love
Where will my children drink
If the rivers all run dry
Leaving just tracks of ignorance
In the sand
I want to live but don’t want
To live here all alone
If everything irreplaceable
Has gone
Can’t forget we’re soldiers
This is on our shoulders
Cowards may retreat
Well that’s not you and me
We’re undefeatable
Armies fall before us
We are unbeatable
Course we don’t stand alone
The power’s in our hands
I will not give up on us
We’ll fall then fight again
With undefeated love

The general public has already heard “C’est la heure” as it was made available as a promo for the new version of the album. All three songs have catchy refrains/choruses, an upbeat tempo appropriate for Papillon, and are worth listening to. Ironically, Lara’s wish to be at home in ‘En chemin” has come VERY TRUE. The battle discussed in Undefeated Love, and the way to win it, is with us right now. And the ultimate solution to problems like those we’re currently encountering is addressed in “C’est la heure”. Like all good art, these songs will apply in all situations, but they are especially relevant to the current one. And like all good artists, whose ‘job’ is to understand current trends and predict where they’re going, Lara is prescient! [Thanks again to Josh for his generosity].
Then it is on to The Voice. Once again a shorter show, lasting only one hour, and also only Marc’s team performed. Here’s an (obvious) article describing why (https://www.programme-tv.net/news/evenement/the-voice-9/252465-the-voice-pourquoi-vous-ne-verrez-finalement-que-les-k-o-de-marc-lavoine-ce-soir/), translated below:

--------------------------------------
Hopefully, they will actually be able to finish the season appropriately - if not, it's not good news for the rest of us as well.
The interesting photo(s) of the week start with another video post of Lara, this one obtained from the Lara Fabian Bien Plus Qu’une Passion:Corse Reunion FB site,
