Lara gave her three concerts in Ukraine this past week, accompanied, as usual, by some Instagram pictures along the way, starting first on leaving Minsk
“Thank you Minsk ... it was so magical to sing for you .... Love 💕💋🎼🎤 #50WorldTour
Then, on to Ukraine
“Verified. I’m in Ukraine 🇺🇦💕🎤
Big kisses 💋💋💋”
Then, with the Riverin Sisters, thinking of Kiev
“Kiev ... See You Tonight ... 🎼💕🎤
#50WorldTour”
And Lara took the opportunity to honor her singing and musical partners
“Marie-Eve, Caroline and Karine thank you for this gift of your voice to all three ....!
I love you my apples” 🍎 🍏 🍎
and
Good vibes only ... I love my team @soeursriverin @manu_pitois 💕🎤#50WorldTour #Backstage

It would be interesting to know if Lara sang this Russian song in Ukraine…if so, there’s no video of it yet available.
Of particular note was the performance of "J’y crois encore in Kiev". I’ve highlighted with ** the video that in particular shows Lara’s response to the lights that the audience offered up to her during that song - her highly emotional reaction to it. Pure Lara, and something you will very rarely see from any other professional singer.
The Lara Fabian Greece site has been accumulating pictures of Lara’s tour of these ‘countries to the east’ and they can be found at:

And speaking of Greece…an article concerning Lara’s upcoming concert there appeared in (https://www.skai.gr/news/entertainment/lara-fabian-50-world-tour-i-megali-kyria-tou-gallikou-tragoudiou-sto-oaka?fbclid=IwAR3kNikgvbD-G8IhEJm9cExIjbQUv0CBBFVxIK1Z4TlPGZfkdosvIcD16QM). Lara Fabian 50 World Tour: The great lady of French song in OAKA
On December 12, Lara Fabian gives a concert at the OAKA Indoor Basketball Court. Part of the proceeds will be used for the purposes of ALL Together.
The great lady of the French song celebrates her birthday with the Greek audience at the concert of the year!
A few days before the expiration of 2019, the beloved French song lady, Lara Fabian, returns to Athens to celebrate her fiftieth birthday with the Greek public, giving us the ultimate concert of the year! An unforgettable show, where she will visit the most important music stations of her career and of course present her new album Papillon for the first time on Greek soil.
The unique melodies of the songs of Je t'aime, Adagio, La différence, I Will Love Again, Je suis malade, Humana, have given and give Lara Fabian a place in the pantheon of French song, with performances always leaving their mark, something that we are lucky enough to enjoy live on the night of December 12 at the indoor basketball court.
Her musical journey begins on the other side of the Atlantic, when her first French-language album is released in Quebec, Canada, in 1991, which quickly becomes platinum and establishes her among the country's most popular artists.
A few years later, the release of the iconic "Carpe Diem", which stands out with its great success Si tu m'aimes, captivates the audience and secures a contract with French Polydor. So, with her third album, "Pure", in the summer of 1997, Lara Fabian is now officially introduced to the European public.
In the thirty years of her career and with sales exceeding 20 million copies worldwide, Lara Fabian never hesitates to experiment, balance the sounds of the day, sing in seven languages, and of course always seduce her performer.
In 2019 it finds Lara Fabian presenting her 14th album, "Papillon", a butterfly that opens its magic wings and flies around, her own totem from her childhood, a contemporary French pop album she immediately left impressions.
Her relationship with Greece is a special one, almost personal. Maria Callas inspired her to deal with the song, Nana Muskouri is a musical idol for her, while Marios Frangoulis, with whom she has sung in Greek at the Herod Atticus Conservatory, and George Perris are close friends and collaborators. "I feel like I'm surrounded by people from the Aegean and I feel so lucky about it," she comments.
Each of her looks, a unique experience. Lara Fabian goes on stage, listens to the audience, closes her eyes and sings with them. She sings love, lamenting loss, praising equality.
Don't miss the opportunity to celebrate with Lara Fabian and her music on this magical night, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Nikos Galis Indoor Basketball Court (OAKA)!

A very nice article, and with this and her recent tours in the U.S., Russia and Ukraine one understands that Lara has universal appeal in many different cultures.
In other news, Lara finally posted something more on her FB page, and it was to remind people to vote for her for ‘Singer of the Year’ in the Adisc contest in Quebec
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/a.622966977744803/3206016879439787/?type=3&theater
One wonders how Lara’s chances have been affected by the news that she won’t be appearing next year on La Voix in Quebec but on “The Voice – La plus belle” in France instead. It can't have helped...
As indicated at (https://adisq.com/actualite/les-nominations-aux-galas-de-ladisq-2019-sont-connues/):
---------------------
“Remember that Louis-José Houde will host the ADISQ Gala for the 14th consecutive year. The latter will be broadcast on Sunday, October 27, at 8 pm, on ICI Radio-Canada Télé. It will be preceded by a red carpet at 19:30 and followed by a post-gala show at 22:30.
The first Gala of the ADISQ will be led by Pierre Lapointe. It will be broadcast live on Télé-Québec on October 23 at 8 pm and on Sunday, October 27 at 6 pm. Finally, the Industry Gala will be held on October 23rd at 5pm.”
------------------------------------
Apparently, there are multiple events. Coincidentally (most likely), these are dates Lara will actually be in Quebec, falling as they do between her concert appearances.
Interesting picture of the week: from Lara on her Instagram site
with the caption, “Special thanks to my Ukrainian fans for this beautiful drawing 🙏💕👏💋 #50WorldTour”
We know Lara is not through with the ‘countries to the east’ as she will return to Eastern Europe (and even Ukraine) from early to mid-November, following the November 3rd tribute to Igor Krutoy in Moscow. [Meanwhile, Krutoy will be in New York for another birthday celebration this coming week, without her]. Meanwhile, she’ll be in Canada when she finds out the results of the Adisq award voting; would be great if she could win, so many years after her early victories.
