I had a great time writing a review for the "9" album by Lara Fabian, and an even greater time matching my views against Coenraad's and Leona's. I believe it gives a greater appreciation for the album to learn what others get from it.
I would like to suggest that we possibly do this kind of thing on regular basis. Maybe once a month. Of course, we would have to agree on the artist and album, and give plenty of time to consider our thoughts.
But I think it would be great fun, and would lead to some interesting discussion about the music that means so much to us.
So, what do you guys think? Are we on?

Okay, great! Since you are the first to respond, you should be the first to select the artist and album for the month of June.

I'm totally game for it. I'll be having a break in June so it will be possible to me. From July I'll be back studying again so might not find the time always, but will contribute when it is possible.
Again great idea Mark

Well, Coenraad, you have mentioned in another post that it is difficult for you to have as much passion for anyone else besides Lara. This being a Lara Forum, maybe we should go with another of her albums before moving on to someone else.
I have already offered to Leona to make the first suggestion for the next review, and must keep my word to her. So it will be up to her what direction we go in.
Leona?

I'm not totally hopeless with other artists and would like to try others also out, so it's Leona's call. It might be the break I need from Lara's material.
I don't own complete albums of all the artists I listen to, so I may not be able to comment on all artists as good as Lara's music. Because of my interest I have also made a very good background study of Lara, something I can't say about every artist, but it is a common habit of me to do a study of an artist when I discover his/her music.
So Leona it is up to you. If I am able to contribute I will. If not don't let me spoil the fun. But I do think it will much more fun if we can all contribute.

What a "Wonderful" idea You are a "Wonderful" person Leona Because now I can also take part in another "Wonderful" discussion Because "The Last Goodbye" was the song that gave me greater interest in this "Wonderful" singer.
This is a very good choice because this is the album that many people view a total failure (go and read some reviews on Amazon and you'll see what I mean). This is a "Wonderful" opportunity to set the records straight, for Lara's sake, don't you think?
What do you say would be adequate time for preparation of such a review, so that we take everyone into consideration? To keep the topic from being suspended for too long I suggest that those who are ready to post, please post your review, but not before, lets say a month has passed. After that we should leave the topic open for discussion for any late postings.
I suggested a month (31 days), but please say if you guys think we should make it longer. Maybe we should vote on a specific minimum period, to give each and everyone adequate time to prepare his or her review? What do you say?
Thanks for the suggestion Leona!

Here's what I suggest:
I say that we submit our reviews by the 15th of each month. That will give each of us time to read them and hopefully create a discussion about them. The hope should be not only to share how we feel about the album, but also to discuss the interesting things that we come away with after reading someone else's observations.
So, if we submit them by the 15th it will give plenty of time for conversation. How does everyone else feel about this?

15 also sounds good to me, not too long and enough time to prepare

Okay, the 15th it is!
Leona, I too am looking forward to reviewing "A Wonderful Life", it's the album that my friend gave me to introduce me to her music and has a very special place in my heart. You certainly made a wonderful choice as Coenraad mentioned!
