Thank you David for your weekly updates, I don't reply often but I read them every tuesday and I love them!
I've just seen that Lara's official page on Facebook has been updated and that in the video section we can see her in the studio recording a duet for Le Secret with Nuno Resende, both in English and in French. It already sounds great!!!

I've always wanted to know more about her American career too. It was such a pity, they didn't understand her real essence. Or maybe the Americans wouldn't understand her anyways... By the way "Broken Vow" is a masterpiece. <3 I love how she feels about her Italian roots I'm glad that even though she's a real citizen of the world, Italy is always in her heart (and blood). I wonder what it will feel like for her to play in "Charlie" here, if it really takes place. Thanks for the update David!

About Franck Olivier, you might remember an article one year ago about him, being accused of raping(or just sexual harassment) a woman-I don't remember for sure.He said at the law court that she was remind him of Lara........... If that is true we now know why she calls him a "bad man". How disgusting. Thank you for the update David, I agree with you all, "Always" is just great!!! As regards New York City, some of you may know that Gigi D'Alessio is singing there at Radio City Music Hall on the 15th of this month. Lara's not listed among the guest stars but I know some singers will be there anyway so...what do you think?

**The competition was held in Ireland, and while there, Lara met a 31 year old Irishman and fell hopelessly in love with him. She quit school, in effect abandoned singing, left Belgium, and went to live with him in Ireland. Unfortunately, he was already married, with a wife and children. At the end of two years she became convinced that he would never love her the way he loved his family, and returned home. Oh God, I so didn't know it! So she has been this married man's lover for nearly two years? They told about Lara in an Italian talent show last week. They were planning to make two girls sing Adagio (but it didn't happen thank God lol) and they said that Adagio sold only 15.000 copies here in Italy. I didn't know it as well! Too bad :/

Thank you so much David It's amazing to read again all the news we have already commented on during the year...it was a great year for Lara. I loved that she was everywhere doing everything, that she was able to release a wonderful album and sang the songs in it perfectly. I'm glad when others realize how great she is. Hope 2011 will be even better, and we'll be here to support her <3 Happy New Year to everybody!

I didn't like the playback too...I always loved the fact that, at least while singing in concerts, she didn't use it as other singers do. It's probably safer for everyone but...she has the voice, so why lip-sync. Anyway, she was stunning! Also at Chabada *.* I'm scared of The Prayer. I mean, it was amazing to hear that song sung by Michael and Lara but I can already hear in my mind all the criticisms and references to Céline, once again. Hope I'm wrong! Wish they chose another song for their duet.

Thank you so much Christina (and David, as usual) for your hard work, I'm downloading! And caaan't wait to see these videos *.* I'm a bit scared (but thinking positive) about all the releases she's up to at the moment...and I'm against "best ofs" in general because I don't think it's a great way to relaunch a career. But I really pray it'll turn out to be special and successful as she deserves.

Oh God hahah I don't know why I've never noticed Lara in that video!!! She's too cute! Anastacia is my first and biggest love, I remember I've told you some time ago... I've seen her a lot of times, she now knows who I am, the last time I've met her she (and her sister/assistent) didn't let my friends and I pay the ticket for the show! And we talked backstage...and she cried when we left, because she needed our support during the challenging time (divorce) she was going through. Ok, it has nothing to do with Lara, but I can say that both Ana and Lara have that little something, that light inside that attract me and attract people, that huge heart that makes them stay down to earth...it is just amazing for me to see them being in the same place and admiring each other. <3
The surprise in Brussels was awesome. I mean, I cannot imagine the shock of all the fans that were watching the video as she walked in....she's lovely. And I believe in what you said David, she wanted to reconnect with those fans who were always there for her...how cool is that, wish I were there.

Thank you David! I've listened to Toccami again and now I think I have the original lyrics of it (still have doubts about a couple of words, but...) Here it is, in Italian and translated: Toccami Chissà quando sarà … chi lo sa Forse solo un minuto Da quando guardi in me Il tempo sembra che Scompaia in assoluto Avvicinandomi Sento la febbre che Sale con me corre una fionda Toccami Dai su bruciami la pelle Toccami Ancora Parlami Una lingua strana Che solo sia capita Da me Chissà da dove viene La sensazione che Rivivo un'altra vita Io conoscevo te Ma non sapevo se Ci avrebbe riuniti Questo destino che Balla davanti a noi L'ultimo passo di un amore Toccami Non lasciare fare al vento Prendimi La mano Toccami Fai l'amore con il tempo Sfidalo, scongiuralo se puoi Toccami Non lasciare fare al vento Prendimi La mano Toccami Fai l'amore con il tempo Sfidalo, scongiuralo se puoi Toccami Dai su bruciami la pelle Toccami Ancora Parlami Una lingua strana Che solo sia capita Da me *** Touch me Who knows when it will be … who knows Maybe just a minute Since you have looked in me Time seems to Fade away in absolute Getting closer to you I feel the fever that Gets higher in me Touch me Come on, burn my skin Touch me Again Talk to me In a weird language That only I can understand Who knows where it comes from The feeling that I'm living another life I knew you But didn't know if It would ever put us together again This destiny that Dances in front of us The last step of a love story Touch me Don't let the time take control Take me My hand Touch me Make love with the time Defy it, avoid it If you can Touch me Don't let the time take control Take me My hand Touch me Make love with the time Defy it, avoid it If you can Touch me Come on, burn my skin Touch me Again Talk to me In a weird language That only I can understand Some italian fans wrote me an email on facebook telling me that one of them keeps in touch with one of the men of Lara's crew, and that there's a chance to see her live in a gig here in Italy. This girl than says to join the group (on fb) to make sure that the audience will consist of 1000 people at least. I don't know if there's truth in it...I'll let you know if I find out something more about it.

Chills! I'm so happy for you, glad that you had the chance to attend a special event like this! It was moving for Lara too, that's very sweet. Can't wait to see the pictures!

You two David and Christina are the bomb together, I wouldn't even know where to find these pieces of news if this board didn't exist! Just wanted you to know it The only correction I can make is that the song Lara sings in Italian is called "Toccami", without the 'K'. Wow, if all this happens it will really be one of the most exciting-stressful moments of her career! Can't believe how many things she's up to lately! It's amazing...but when we talk about Lara every doubt is legitimate I prefer this version of "Gottingen" too! The sound is great, much better than the TLFM2 version in my opinion...

Yes, I think that the pictures taken from the video we have seen are perfect for this song...! Another confirmation that she's really expanding the bounds of her public image, as David said. And I see nothing wrong in it! Paula you're welcome. I'll modify the lyrics and the translation when I'll be able to understand/hear more!
