....makes me wonder. There are so many songs that I grew up with that I now just take for granted. But as I have posted many (but far from all) that have educated and informed and influenced me over the years, I am now learning that there is a whole generation of people who are completely unfamiliar to these songs! What a shame! There is so much to benefit from some of this stuff! Either I am getting old, or the things that really matter are slipping away......hmmmm. I'm getting old, huh? lol

I think music wise the things that really matter are slipping away. It no longer matters if you have a great message, make great intellectual music. Now it seems to be more about if you are famous in something other than music (actresses making music, reality tv shows, etc.) and can sing half-decently. It seems to me that it is more about the image, and great beats, lyric wise most of the stuff that is popular is horrible. I don't think you are getting old.
