Okay, Shavon....you asked for it! Posting pics of John Boehner, making me jealous!! You know you're only supposed to have eyes for me! Well, I'll show you! Take this: ....and this: ....and this: How does it feel, huh? Jealous? Hmmm, probably not. These are pics of Emmanuelle Beart, my favorite actress and in my opinion the most beautiful (and, of course, Ashley Judd). Emmanuelle Beart has been in some great films, and I'll share more about that (as well as more pics of her) in later posts. Is anybody else familiar with this amazingly beautiful woman and any of her films? If so, please share it here!

Right now I am watching another great film with Emmanuelle Beart in it called "La Belle Noiseuse". It's a two-disc, four hour film and I just finished watching the first disc. So far it is an amazing film. Other films that I have seen with Emmanuelle Beart and highly recommend that you see are: "Un Coeur en Hiver" "Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud" "Histoire de Marie et Julian" "Nathalie" "Les Egares" Of course Emmanuelle Beart is stunningly beautiful in each of them, but equally as great an actress as well. The films I have recommended above have all left me devastated and thinking about them for days after watching them. She is a tremendous talent, and easily my favorite actress!

Well, I've finally finished watching the second part of "La Belle Noiseuse". What an amazing film! I'm sure that a lot of people would absolutely hate it because it's pacing is so painfully slow, but I have to say it's probably among the best I've ever seen. I love character-based films, and this one was nothing if not that. Emmanuelle Beart has secured her spot as my absolute favorite actress with this one, as once again she has left me crushed. Her films seem to have a dark nature to them, and yet very intimate. I am always left thinking about her films long after having watched them. I won't mention anything at all about what the film is about in case any of you should choose to see it, but I do highly recommend that you do.

OK I watched "Un Coeur en Hiver" and "Histoire de Marie et Julian". Yes Emmanuelle Beart is a good actress. I really liked "Un Coeur en Hiver" and would be very interested in the soundtrack of the movie. The violin music was beautiful (yes Mark EB is too but I am NOT posting any of her pictures LOL). "Histoire de Marie et Julian" was just OK. I found it hard to follow at times and have too many unanswered questions. The concept was good and the directing was excellent.
