Really?? I love baseball! And I love New York! I like New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. I know they are rival, but they are very good. Couple days ago I watched a film "The perfect catch" with Drew Barrymore, in Polish it was "Miłosna zagrywka" - great comedy One of my dreams is to visit New York, Boston, New Jersey and Seattle...and maybe San Antonio in Mexic Oh, here in Poland we like very much "Boston public". Have you ever been on a baseball game? I would like to see one sometime...

Well, sorry to Rachelle and congratulations to Paula. After spending the afternoon defeating themselves with dropped passes, turnovers, and unacceptable personal fouls, the San Diego Chargers were then defeated in the end by the New England Patriots. A well deserved victory for the Pats! Now it's on to Indianapolis. Paula's Patriots versus Leona's Colts. Should be a great game.

Joanna, in response to your post, I happen to love baseball also. I grew up as a young boy going to many Pittsburgh Pirate games (my team) and still try to go to a couple every year. When I was young I used to sit outside and listen to the games on the radio and hold a bat in my hand and pretend I was one of the Pirates!
I'm not a Yankees fan but I have tremendous respect for them as a team, and once the playoffs start have a hard time not cheering for them. I would love to see a game in Yankee Stadium sometime too!

I'm with Paula here. I dislike the Yankees almost as much as the Toronto Maple Leafs. Growing up a Toronto Blue Jays fan, I grew a very strong dislike for them. I cheer for Toronto and then whoever the Yankees are playing. I used watch alot of baseball but I pay very little attention to it anymore. I don't find the season very exciting and therefore never really get into a season and because of that I don't watch very many games. The games are okay if you are into the season. Hockey will probably always be number 1 for me.

Mark, it's a good thing that you cheered for the Chargers because you don't get another chance till next season. Sorry, Rachelle but I was cheering for the Patroits, I'm sure that the Chargers will be there next season. Now the Colts just need to get to the Superbowl, I'm hoping I don't cheer for the Patroits again this season.

I go to a baseball game maybe once every five years. I am really not a big sport fan any more (don't get me started talking about current athletes). First let me say the Yankees are a good team. - maybe because they steal all the Boston players. LOL
Leona - "I cheer for Toronto and then whoever the Yankees are playing." awesome. That one made me laugh out loud.
Joanna if you ever get to the Boston area let me know. Maybe we could met.

Paula if I would ever be in US I will let you all know I think that someday it will happen, I just have to finish my study, then earn some money and assemble some for tickets and hotel And about sport, I like baseball very much, I don't root concrete team I just like to watch they play and I don't mind if it's Yankees or Red Sox are playing - I just enjoy the game.
