I just finished watching "A Very Long Engagement". Powerful film, and wonderfully acted. Audrey Tautou stars. I should warn that it is a war time film, so if you are not into that sort of thing, you may want to consider that. But it is also a great testimony that love endures, and if you can watch a film like this, I highly recommend it. Besides, does Audrey Tautou star in anything that isn't good?

Another good Tautou film is, He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not. It's very suspenseful!

Okay, this back and forth about Audrey Tautou forced me to watch "Amelie" again. Very, very cool film....can't even begin to describe. You just have to see it!

Well, I haven't seen any of those films, so I'll have to chaeck them out! I do have a copy of "Like Water For Chocolate", but never got around to watching it! This will give me reason to do so. I just watched a film this weekend that I wanted a friend to see, called, "Primal Fear" starring Richard Gere. The film is about ten years old, but very contemporary and well directed. I think Edward Norton put himself on the map with this film. A must see!

I liked Ed when he was in Death To Smoochy.

"The Island" My friend wanted me to go see this film at the theater, so I went with him. Usually I rent and watch at home, because I have a wide screen TV and it's more comfortable. But I have to say that I'm glad that if I was going to pay ticket price to go out and see a film, at laest it was a good one! Different from what I normally like, but with a really good story that made it interesting for me.

"K-19: The Widowmaker" ....An absolutely amazing film! Inspired by actual events, this is a must see. Sometimes hard to watch ( and stomach ), I went through so many emotions throughout. It's a little slow at the start, but stay with it.......you'll be glad you did!

Someone Like You -.......Great film, but even if it wasn't, heck, Ashley Judd is in it! She is absolutely the most beautiful actress on the planet! Wouldn't you agree?
