Recharged, happy and excited to come and meet you on the roads of #50 worldtour”
And then she ended her trip back with this one, yesterday:

This will probably be her last extended vacation in quite some time…
Now that she’s back, first up, or at least the rehearsals for it, is a special concert that Lara is giving for Rhythme 105.7 FM (https://montreal.rythmefm.com/concours/7881?fbclid=IwAR02cydefsH6Nc-CxE-hxyaKVxB6dJpG45tBnbr4MLl0VE9UYhxhbyAFZeo) [Thanks to the Mademoiselle Zhivago FB site for the link]. Here’s the (translated) discussion:

Thanks to Rhythme, see Lara Fabian up close!
The Rhythme Station is proud to offer you the chance to see an intimate concert with Lara Fabian on August 29th!
With the feat of more than 20 million albums sold worldwide and an acclaimed comeback in Quebec during the last season of La Voix, Lara Fabian officially unveiled last February her latest French album PAPILLON. The public can now discover 11 new musical selections by internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Lara Fabian, whose successes, JE SUIS À TOI and PAPILLON, stand out among the best in Quebec.
In addition, the singer will begin a world tour in the fall in 50 countries including three dates of shows in Quebec; April 1 and 2 in Montreal at Place des Arts and April 4 in Quebec City at Videotron Center.
To win your tickets with Lara for an intimate concert in the Rhythm Theater Studio, listen and follow the instructor's instructions or sign up on rythmm.com.
For show dates: larafabian.ca/

The link above includes a participation form; it appears it is only open to Canadians.
It will be interesting to find out whether the ’11 new musical selections’ are simply those from Papillon, or whether Lara will use this to try out some other songs she’s planning to use on the tour. At the very least, it will get her warmed up for that tour, which as you probably know starts officially on September 16th in New York City.
In the continuing series of articles that appear promoting Lara’s concerts in various places, here is a nice interview with her associated with the Belgrade show [thanks to the larafabian web FB page for the link (https://www.facebook.com/BeogradskaArena/photos/a.334162807428/10157387442907429/?type=3&theater), and ‘google’ for the translation from Croatian]:

Lara Fabian
LOVE is the salvation for humanity
Millions of people around the world adore her for music that sends the message of love, equality and strong emotions. She's Lara Fabian, Belgian-Italian songwriter and actress with a Canadian passport
Whether she sings for a farm in Los Angeles or a fan from a small town in India, she unites the world with lyrics, singing in French, Italian and English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian. Her colorful vocals can touch the deepest nooks and crannies of the listener, which is also reflected in 20 million albums sold. Lara Fabian celebrates her 50th birthday and 30th anniversary with a 50 World Tour, and arrives at Belgrade's Stark Arena on November 16th. On the occasion of her latest, 14th album, Papillon (Butterfly), Lara is giving us her soul without rest.
Tell us a bit about Papillon songs.
LF: This is my first album in French since 2015. And I'm very excited. Papillon is a pop album, and I wrote and composed songs with my friends in Canada. They are a combination of classic instruments with modern pop arrangements. The songs are about love, but also alienating relationships, the desire to make a change in our lives, the desire for ease and the challenges we face. With special ease you connect with people on stage.
Tell us more about it.
LF: Each concert gives you the opportunity to meet audiences from different parts of the world. And when you step on the stage with thousands of eyes fixed on you, watching your every step, listening to your every sigh, it is impossible not to have a porch, but on the other hand, when the show begins, the music shows its magic and I become one with the audience. It is this connection that makes music magical. Even though not everyone understands what you are singing because they do not speak English or French, we will share the emotions that the song evokes in us. I really don't know of any other thing that has the power to unite people who don't know each other on such a high emotional level.
In a time of great religious, political and racial divisions around the world, your songs are something that brings people together.
LF: I think that the history of mankind has always had different challenges. Admittedly, I do not think that any period in history has had such problems as in the time in which we live today. However, social networks, the internet and the evolution of the media add to our discomfort and make us feel more vulnerable and frightened than ever before. And sometimes in all that worry, in all that noise, we may fail to see the most important challenges humanity faces, such as climate change. I believe it is very important that we are all aware of this and that we are all in this together regardless of race or national identity. And we need to unite and act together to solve these things. My Communify song on my previous album Camouflage was just about this. And the Par Amour song on the Papillon album is about surviving the great challenges we face as a society as well as human beings.
Which song is closest to your heart?
LF: Every song has its own story. Depending on where I perform, the audience has favorites. If I just had to choose one, then it would be “Je t’aime” that defined me as an artist. And that is why I never get tired of singing this song at my concerts.
What does Lara do when she's not performing?
LF: Just like every other woman, a handful of housework. I have a little daughter. I cook, I take her to school and back. We have a dog that also wants attention. And I have a family, a husband, so life is as out of music as any other.
Your song La Difference is a hymn about love and acceptance around the world. What message are you sending?
LF: My message is the same for everyone, whether LGBTQ or heterosexual. Love is love. There is nothing wrong with loving another human being and never any conflict or evil has come from love. On the contrary, love is the answer to the many misfortunes that humanity encounters.

Again, Lara will be at the Stark Arena in Belgrade on November 16th and tickets are available as shown in the Events section of Lara’s FB page.
Alan Badoev put one more video chapter from the Mademoiselle Zhivago movie on his Instagram site in the past week, one which again we had already seen, but about which he added some comments:

(9) “Winter Bouquet”
What if love last three days?
Song: Russian Fairy Tale
www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyvtiLJEflI&t=4s
The latest short story of the whole project “Winter Bouquet” is very special for us. This is the favorite novel of Lara Fabian and Igor Krutoy. It marked the debut for the first time of Max Barskih @max_barskih as an actor.
We shot it in Lviv for three days. During the filming, the city stopped and watched the filming of a piercing love story, winter in the midst of hot summer.
This is the story of a young soldier pilot, in which the war left a mark in the form of burns throughout the body and an adult woman from whom the war took the family and left a scar on the heart. They look like emptiness in the soul ... Lovers fall into childhood and forget about everything, until a fireworks sound. They perceive the sounds of the holiday as a signal of shelling and panic. Their memory is forever with them.
I always say that you need to love every day, like the last, do not miss the moment, because TOMORROW can bring separation for ever.
What if one day for love? …

---------------------------------------------------------------
Like most of the other ‘novels’ in this collection, it does not end happily. One supposes it exemplifies the song title insofar as “Fairy tales” are not real, and so this affair had to end. As Badoev said, even here where the actual violence is not directly associated with war, the holiday sounds triggered responses generated by the war which then led to the unhappy conclusion. In one of their few points of convergence, Badoev’s last paragraph, about living and loving in the moment, does align with Lara’s “Carpe Diem” approach.
He then concluded with the following pronouncement:
"I'm finishing the video #mademouzelzhivago video marathon with the main trailer of the whole project. Thank you to the new viewers! Thanks to the team of unique professionals, every frame is created by you ❤ It is nice to see that even after several years, the frame created is relevant. We are moving on to new projects and goals too honest and ambitious. @badoevteam_official

The trailer can be found at:
It indicates there are 9 novels, 9 lives, 9 songs, 1 woman, 9 days. With the re-emergence of the “Mother” video, this is all now true. However, it also means we won’t be see any video done to the song “Tomorrow is a lie” (or equivalently, ‘Demaine n’existe pas’), where reportedly Lara is looking back on all the other episodes from a life in the future, and makes it clear that these are all different (reincarnational) lives of a single woman – i.e., the video that tied it all together, and made this a real movie as opposed to unconnected segments.

In less than 10 days Lara performs for Rhythme FM, and although it may not truly represent a ’50 World Tour’ setlist, it may give us the first indication of what’s to come. As Lara said, she’s anxious to get going, and, given that Papillon was released in February, and her last concert tour was the previous year, fans are chomping at the bit as well. Much to look forward to, once the summer effectively ends. “La rentree” may not be a Canadian thing, but it’s still a jumping off point for Lara.
