Lara’s usual thoughtful replies, are discussed in more depth (and humor) in the radio interview.
Interestingly, in the lead-in to these questions, they indicated that on her “50 World Tour” Lara will be giving 70 concerts in 50 cities. This is up from the “50” concerts that were initially planned. It would also obviously require some 20 multiple concerts in cities, and while we know of a few, there would have to be many more booked. It’s probably a reach to take any of this too literally. So far Lara’s ‘Events’ page lists 28 concerts, of which repeat concerts are shown for Bucharest, Brussels, Paris and Kiev. The more complete list on the LaraFabianWeb FB site indicates 34 concerts. Either way, there’s a lot more to go.
Lara was on the show “Bonsoir Bonsoir”. The video can be seen at:

with a complimentary discussion at
www.facebook.com/SimonBoulericepublic/videos/1981924632111324/
The interesting thing here was that another guest was Simon Boulerice (Quebec comedian, playwright, director, poet and novelist), and he had a history with Lara, which he discussed in the second video above and in his comments posed beforehand: “I'm invited alongside the talented Monia Chokri, but also Lara Fabian. It will be my reunion-23 years later - with the flagship singer of my adolescence, the one I interviewed in 1996 (after winning a literary contest from her fan club), but I have never seen her since! Am much much much excited. Live at 21 pm tonight!”
He showed two great pictures from that time at
www.facebook.com/SimonBoulericepublic/photos/pcb.2112614608837722/2112613998837783/?type=3&theater
This was after the release of her album Carpe Diem, and Lara was ~26 years old, though it certainly doesn’t seem like it in the photos (she looks ~15 – as does he). He also provided an audio tape to the show; Lara listening to it asked “what language is that?” [He reminded Lara that at the time she stated her preference for Mel Gibson; Lara, embarrassed, humorously apologized to her husband ].
Some current photos of the two of them can be found, from him and her, at
www.facebook.com/SimonBoulericepublic/photos/pcb.2113649588734224/2113648488734334/?type=3&theater
and
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/pcb.2828669993841146/2828665723841573/?type=3&theater
to which Lara added the caption, “What a nice moment in the show "Bonsoir Bonsoir" on ICI-radio of Canada TV.... thank you to the team, to Jean-Philippe Wauthier, Monia Chokri and my favorite Simon Boulerice... Thanks to Karine Dufour for these beautiful pictures.”
On the program “50’ Inside”, Lara was asked questions concerning a film about her life. The video is at:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=usfjQ8s5fuA
or equivalently at
www.facebook.com/50Inside/videos/2282610545390190/
Here’s the discussion:
If one made a movie of your life, “The Biopic of Lara Fabian”, what would be the title?
LF: “Je t’aime”.
What would be the genre?
LF: It would be a dramatic comedy.
What would be the casting?
LF: There would be many men, in all the categories, who have evolved in my life. They must be represented for they have been very very important. And then a few grey eminences, hidden, who have contributed to making me a woman open and happy.
Who would play your role?
LF: My daughter probably!
And that of Gabriel?
LF: Ah! That of Gabriel! I would say a young Andy Garcia.
Where would it be filmed?
LF: The filming would take place on several continents and in several countries. And would begin in Belgium, would continue in Quebec, would land in France, and would finish in Quebec.
What would be the moral?
LF: To trust each other. To take life with a grain of salt…and to surround oneself with caring people and to be grateful!
Would one have the right to a happy ending?
LF: Obviously that would be a happy end.
Who would compose the music?
LF: There would be several composers. But I am certain that I would ask Sir John Williams to write all the violins, because it would need violins!
What would the poster look like?
LF: A tree! Which would pass through all the seasons, and I would invent a fifth.

Wonderful answers on Lara’s part. Reading this literally, it would seem to indicate Lara expects to end her career (perhaps life) in Quebec, at least as far as the movie would be concerned.
Lara is to be on a show with Sonia Benezra, as shown in the following photo and caption,

An article about the telethon can be found at (https://journalmetro.com/actualites/national/2330479/telethon-operation-enfant-soleil-un-record-de-pres-de-202-millions/); here’s the translation:
-------------------------------------------------
Telethon Opération Enfant Soleil: a record of nearly $ 20.2 million
QUÉBEC - The broadcast of the Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon on Sunday raised close to $20.2 million to help sick children in Quebec and their families.
A few hours after the conclusion of the 32nd telethon that lasted 15 hours, the organization of the event said the amount raised of $ 20,174,847 was a record. She adds that over the years, over $240 million has been donated across the province through the event.
The telethon was broadcast on the TVA network live from the ExpoCité Exhibition Center in Quebec City. More than 2,500 volunteers, partners, artists, technicians and call center attendants contributed to the event, which was mainly led by Annie Brocoli and Maxime Landry. Many artists have performed, including Lara Fabian, Robby Johnson, Mario Pelchat, Ginette Reno and Nathalie Simard.
Operation Enfant Soleil raises funds to support the development of quality pediatrics. The organizers say that thanks to the funds collected, more than a hundred projects are taking shape each year in hospitals and regional organizations as well as in major pediatric centers in Quebec.

Still in the 'charity' genre, there’s now an official video from the “Global Gift Gala” of Eva Longoria, in which Lara played a substantial part. It’s at
www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHzxQEgRx3Y&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2FtwvC6UqTPrOfh0iZbNC-6lIP1HMJxVhbhyhhxyrgEsd36mSN3unh7ss
Lara features prominently in the video, which includes a good portion of her singing “Je t’aime”.
In other news, as has been noted previously, Lara has become a character in a comic book on homosexuality. Here’s the translation from the article in Charts in France (http://www.chartsinfrance.net/Lara-Fabian/news-110339.html).
---------------------------------------------------
Lara Fabian becomes the character of a comic book on homosexuality
In full promotion of her "Papillon" album, Lara Fabian announces that she will appear in volume 2 of "My Two Dads", a comic strip centered on homosexuality and a single-parent family.
After the scene, the boards ... drawing. As she had already announced last February, Lara Fabian will become a cartoon character in the second volume of "My Two Dads", by Mikl Mayer, expected in September 2019 at Boy Edition. After a first tome that already featured Line Renaud, Arielle Dombasle and Amanda Lear, this second comic, still centered on homosexuality, is the first and only one in France to have as main character a single-sex parent family. The summary is as follows: Florian has a secret. He would be the father of a little girl he would have had with Melanie in high school. While preparing for his marriage with Tristan, the announcement of the news will disrupt the life of the couple. Meanwhile, their son, Zack, is asking questions about sex . This comic strip will also host actors Mathieu Wilhelm and Jonas Ben Ahmed, the latter being the first actor transgender actor to have played in a French fiction.
A Committed Artist
This announcement allows the singer, in full promotion of her album "Papillon", to prove even more her commitment to the LGBT community. The one who posed with Eva Longoria for the ephemeral couples of Olivier Ciappa owns a song, "La Difference", which addresses homosexuality and which became an unavoidable title of her repertoire, even if it attracts threats in Russia. "I did it for several years. Moreover, on the tour that comes may be a question that arises and that I will have to answer. I may end up in jail. It can go that far ... " she explained on RTL. But the interpreter of "Par amour" does not intend to give up: "For me, to completely remove this song, it would be somewhat like saying "Finally, I bow to fear" (...) The last night [on a previous tour], there were people waiting. It was very very hot. We do not leave this situation.” Yet Lara Fabian faces a real dilemma [as to why she continues to give concerts in Russia]: "Why should I condemn all the people in the room, and many of whom belong to the community? Why should I do that? If, for me, claiming something here is endangering the link I have with the public, it does not make any sense (...) I believe the most expensive price would be to not go to see the fans in Russia anymore.
--------------------------------------------------
And in a similar vein, Lara was at the microphone of Mario Dumont LCN (QUB Radio 29/05/2019), and has this comment on Homosexuality: "I have a lot of trouble with the fact that we can disavow a human being for his choices or his orientation.” The video can be seen at,

Speaking of Sonia, she had this announcement: “It is obviously with regret that I confirm to you, as announced in the media this morning, that there will be no sequel to the show 'Tout le monde aime'."
There were 8 episodes, and you may remember, the program with Lara was the first, close to 30 years after she first had Lara on the air. Presumably TVA felt it did not meet their expectations in terms of audience numbers, but the show with Lara was exceptional.
