A surprise this past week was the release of the music video for Lara’s second single release from Papillon, “Je suis a toi”. It can be seen on Lara's youtube channel,at:

(BTW, if you haven't checked out that channel, she's included an interesting collection of past videos - not all of them, so somebody had to decide).

This is an unabashed romantic (and sexy) video, something we generally don’t see from Lara. In fact, it’s even more romantic than the lyrics themselves, which have some additional complexity to them (as usual for Lara). All in all, a very professional job, and the song itself seems better and better the more one listens to it. Having the whole enterprise based together in Montreal, where she is surrounded by like-minded professionals, seems to be working for her. This bodes well for the rest of the album.

A sweet new video for Lara Fabian
We are more and more impatient to discover the next album of Lara Fabian, Papillon, which will be released on February 8th. It's that the singer has titillated us quite a lot in recent months, beginning with a first clip for the eponymous piece and then unveiling a second excerpt, Je suis à toi. Here it is also put in image and the result is a romantic wish.
The one that will be found in the next season of La Voix rolls lasciviously in white sheets for this clip and, when we do not see her in the room with a handsome man, it is when she is surrounded by greenery that we find her, always lovingly.
Bet this hymn to love will resonate in the hearts of many lovebirds!

Lara Fabian presents the music video for her new song "Je suis à toi"!
Just one year after "Camouflage," Lara Fabian returns with a brand-new album, this time in French, scheduled to be released on February 8, 2019. The great performer after introducing "Papillon", the title song, comes back with "Je suis à toi".
The lyrics and music of the song she herself signed with Moh Denebi (composition) and Sharon Vaughn (lyrics), with whom she had collaborated on her previous album. "Je suis à toi" became available to the public for free streaming and download along with the pre-ordering of her album. The music video premiered a few hours ago is directed by Plastic Gun. In this, the top Belgian performer seems to have beautiful moments with her beloved.
"It's a pop album, modern, French. It makes sense that it is good to be current to translate this with image, sound and text, that is, that state of mind that is a little more thoughtful and maybe celebrates a bit more lightness," she said. The butterfly symbol was not chosen at random: "The butterfly has been my totem ever since I was very young. My grandmother called me "farfallina" in Italian, so it's a symbol that always followed me", said the top Belgian performer on her record work!
------------------------------------------------------
Lara’s people have let it be known that there will be a remix of this single. In particular, they said, “The remix of "Je suis à toi" by DJ MOTO BLANCO (UK) will be available on YouTube on December 28th. The 3 versions (radio edit, extended remix and instrumental) will be available for downloading on iTunes and other digital platforms in January (date TBD) . Moto Blanco is known for his official remixes for Adele, Mariah Carey, Anny Lennox, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Mary J Blige, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, George Michael and others. The song itself sounds like a remix, so the only thing one can imagine happening with it is the additional of strong base/drum rhythms…but we’ll hear it this coming Friday.
There was no additional news concerning additions to the “50” tour (and the Russian shows have still not appeared in the ‘Events’ section of Lara’s FB page, although on the Lara Fabian Connecting People site it was mentioned that "the tickets flew away" and there may be a second show in Moscow).
In other news, last week Lara indicated how happy she was to get to meet the famous chef in Quebec, Ricardo. It turns out she was on his TV show, on ICI Radio-Canadaca Télé ,and the video of it can be found, thanks to Andrey Fedotov on the Lara Fabian Connecting People site, at:
goo.gl/qzTrC9
In addition to sharing the cooking (though as it was his show, Ricardo did much of the work), they discussed a variety of things, including Lara’s Sicilian origin, her coming to, and now being in Quebec, and her career. It was good to see Lara in this "domestic" mode.
In addition, the same source provided the video for Lara’s participation from the previous week’s broadcast of “LES ANNÉES BONHEUR (of 12-15-18), available at:
goo.gl/rgEq5K
Once again one gets to see Lara perform her two songs – Je t’aime and Je suis a toi, and one sees the Patrick Sebastian’s appreciation of her outfit, the audience appreciation of her, a promo for Papillon, and notice of Lara now being in Quebec. It also includes Veronique Dicaire’s mimicking of Lara’s emotional version of “Je t’aime”, which she ended with “Je t’aime Lara”.
Then from even earlier in the month, again the Lara Fabian Connecting People site provided the video of Lara’s appearance on “Deux filles le matin”, at
goo.gl/t4YmA8
where Lara’s Italian heritage became the focus of attention, including her multi-lingual background, Christmas in Italy and the differences, Italian food, and the cultural mixture she lived with. One even gets to hear Lara sing a little. Of course, this being a program in Quebec, Lara emphasized that her new album was produced totally in that province. She also noted that the album was about having the responsibility and taste of growing into one’s full self (like the caterpillar-butterfly transition), regardless of what profession that is.
In all these shows, Lara looked magnificent, and was her usual quite responsive guest, a program’s dream.
On the ‘personal side’, Lara posted another beautiful picture of herself on her Instagram site, at:

with the caption, “Last shopping before Christmas” (a phrase that probably applies to many of us).
Interesting photo(s) of the week: from her manager Matt Ersin, actually a short video of Lara getting made up for the recently released music video,
and also Lara center stage with the other judges from La Voix, on the cover of “Echos Vedettes” which ran a story about the upcoming season of the show. It can be seen, thanks to the Lara Fabian FB site, at:

She wrote, “Christmas in a few days…A new year starting, full of hope and best wishes to all of our loved ones.”
