Lara’s English album came back into prominence this past week, both directly and indirectly. She posted a picture of herself and several others in Stockholm, Sweden, at:
www.facebook.com/larafabianofficial/photos/a.215378125170359.50343.201065806601591/1264351370273024/?type=3
with the caption, “Stockholm [picture of Swedish flag]...Working on the English album”. She has about another week before she must prepare for her next ‘Ma vie dans la tienne’ concert in Odessa, Ukraine.
However, thinking longer-term, Lara's team announced her first ever concert in London (she has appeared on stage there as a guest on several occasions), with what has now become the standard picture for 2017 events:

The concert is titled “Lara Fabian – The London concert”, hence it is almost certainly an event that will be primarily in English, and one would suppose it would be in support of the English album. Labeling the concert that way allows her to avoid providing a title for that album, if indeed that is to be its focus.
We now have a few concerts scheduled for 2017 so far – this one and the three in Poland on February 6-8. Those too may be in support of the English album, hence it will have to be available by them. That’s cutting it pretty close if she is still working on it now.
Still related to the subject of concerts, we have some more videos from those shows given last week, as listed below.

Lara Fabian and her coach give you singing lessons
04/10 / 201612h55
Public.fr met Monday 3 October in Paris: Lara Fabian and his singing teacher Pierre-Yves Duchesne.
On the occasion of the book release PY 3.14, La Method *, Lara Fabian and Pierre-Yves Duchesne give an exclusive singing lesson just for you.
"The basis for singing well is breathing, feeling good, and beginning a first exercise. The exercises of articulation are very important to allow a perfect speech. If I made you exercise you are going to collapse with laughter, but this is what we do when we are singing: "Pruneaux cuits, pruneaux crus... Cuits, crus !" [literally, "prunes cooked, raw prunes ... cooked, raw!]. "Singing is what? This is uttering consonants with air!" Ta, va, ma, ka ... "All those exercises that look natural, come from a method" explains the famous singer of "Je t’aime" who could become in her turn an excellent coach on the Voice ...

In addition, that same day Lara was interviewed about another of Pierre-Yves Duchesne’s “students” (in addition to herself): ‘Amir’. Home> News People> Lara Fabian: "Amir is a very nice person, he's a great artist coupled with a great generosity!"
Public.fr met Monday 3 October in Paris: Pierre-Yves Duchesne, the singing teacher of Lara Fabian and Amir!
On the occasion of the release of his book 'PY 3.14, La Method', Pierre-Yves Duchesne gives his opinion on his two students, Lara and Amir: "These are people who are really alike in terms of generosity, kindness and love of their craft. If you remove them from their profession, they no longer exist. Lara is another woman on stage, it's a part of her that explodes, it's fabulous! Amir, it is similar at his level for he begins. Amir is a young dog who goes in all directions so you have to channel him but he has enormous potential!" says PY.D
Lara has already met Amir and she is also ecstatic when she talks about the young singer who is named in the category Francophone Revelation of the Year at the NRJ Music Awards: "Amir is a very nice person It is rich for an audience to have a great artist coupled with a human being of great generosity. He is really a good person."

The video being referred to can be found on that site; it consists of the comments mentioned above, followed by some nice words PY.D. said about Lara. In the ‘news about Lara’, she mentioned how she’s now working on the English album, and also ticked off the various places she has just sung (the three French cities) and the ones where she is going (e.g., Moscow, Kiev), as examples of the freedom to sing that PY.D. gives his students.
Prior to going to Sweden, Lara gave a shout out to a local hamburger site in Waterloo, Belgium [‘The Triple B’]. The principle reason for mentioning it here is that there is a nice picture of Lara (with “Sonia” and “Salvatore”), at

As noted above, Lara will have up to one more week to work on the English album before her next two ‘Ma vie dans la tienne’ concerts start, in the Ukraine and Moldova. She then has another couple of weeks available before resuming concerts for about 10 days in France. The more general practice is for artists to devote a concentrated period of time to work on a new album, rather than mixing it up with concert dates for the previous disc. When introducing the idea of the English album, Lara indicated that it was ‘a target of opportunity’, which implies it probably hadn’t been envisioned when her concert schedule was initially developed. So it would appear that she has to ‘fit it in’, although one supposes it gives her time to reflect on what has been done and where to go. In addition, her co-writers, Sharon Vaughn and Moh Denebi, presumably are working more continuously. The holiday season is coming up, and if shows in early 2017 will be in support of that album, there is not a whole lot of time to get it ready – we wish Lara ‘Godspeed’.
