I love this song. I especially liked Lara's performance of it on the Juno's (Canadian Music Award show). I like how it tells a story about love that's not perfect, because I really dislike all those love songs that talk about relationships with love as something that's perfect. I feel love is perfect but there is no perfection in relationships, even those with love in them.

Certain times when I am not listening to music at all, and it is very quiet all around, a song will "appear" in my mind. Two songs of Lara's make frequent visits at these times. One is "You're Not from Here" and the other is "Loved By Grace." Beautiful thoughts and beautiful songs both. I also agree with your comments about love and relationships. Very wise!

I look back at when Lara performed this song at the Junos and I realise that it was the turning point of my change of tastes in music. I finally realised what music was about. That performance impacted my soul even though I couldn't relate to the song because Lara made me feel the song. Lara didn't dance or do anything but sit on a chair and sing the song with all the emotion in her heart and soul.

Yeah! I completely agree!
I just watched a number of clips of Lara performing songs in just that fashion, sitting in a chair and singing with all the emotion that she puts into every song. It's amazing! She always looks so beautiful in those dresses!
The performance you mention is incredible!

Love by Grace was the first Lara song i ever heard, they played it on the radio every morning when it first came out. i bought her first english album because of that song. she sounded so amazing and the song was so beautiful i had to find out more about this Lara Fabian. discovering that she's canadian made her even more appealing to me. i don't buy albums often but i like supporting the canadian artists that i like as much as i can.
even though our local radio stations don't play her anymore, i am grateful that they had played that song back then. if it weren't for Love by Grace, i would not have had the privilege of knowing a great artist.
