I definitely don't want to see Hillbilly back in office. I'm hoping that Obama becomes the Democratic nominee. Even though I am not a Democrat, I honestly could stomach an Obama Whitehouse. Another Clinton term is absolutely unacceptable to me. ~Shavon P.S. I totally have a crush on Republican House Minority Leader, John Boehner!...lol He has beautiful eyes. He kind of reminds me of an old Hollywood type of guy. He's a very distinguishing kind of guy, even if he is married and a lot older than me. I bet he was quite the little stud muffin as a youth! I cannot even begin to mention just how terrible I believe Obama or Clinton will be if elected POTUS. Both of them have some scary ideas about running the country that would only further remove us from the country we were originally intended to be. That stated, I'm not seeing anyone on the Republican ticket who looks any more promising. I think America is going to get what it wants....and will wind up paying dearly for it. But that I can live with. What really has me upset is that you, Shavon, are looking at other men! I am very jealous! You're supposed to have your heart set only on me! When I get home from work, I am going to have to post a pic of a very beautiful babe just to get you back! Then you'll see how it feels....HA! Oh, crap! It probably won't even matter.

This Presidential Election is so invigorating!! The odds are against the pubbies to win this year. It's definitely a democratic year. Which democrat gets in is my main concern. Anyone but Hillary is my mantra! Obama definitely has what it takes to win, and I'll do whatever I can to make that happen!

I seriously fear for Obama's life.
When Hillary Clinton announced that she was running for President, she said "I'm in it to win it". That scares the heck out of me, to be honest with you, because I wouldn't put anything past the Clintons to make it happen. They are undefeated since coming into the national spotlight. They do not handle obstacles well.
That said, they are both liberals, so either will be bad for America. Problem is, so is McCain.....

as an outsider, i would actually be thrilled to see a Clinton-Obama ticket. i think they would complement each other and keep each other in check. if only they could get along well enough.....
at this point, i think the US simply cannot get any worse than Bush.

I would never co-sign that!..lol Part of choosing a VP is that you have to be able to trust the other person. Hillary can trust Barack. I do not think for one second that Barack can trust Hillary. Hillary is already on record saying she doesn't believe that Barack is Commander-In-Chief material. Why in the hell would Barack EVER consider being her VP when she insulted him? I am so tired of the Bush-Clinton saga dynasties. The US is not a monarch. We have over 300 million people in this country, why should a Bush or Clinton be the only ones who get to become President?! It's time for new blood and a new direction in thiss country. Out with he old and in with the new. ~Shavon as an outsider, i would actually be thrilled to see a Clinton-Obama ticket. i think they would complement each other and keep each other in check. if only they could get along well enough..... at this point, i think the US simply cannot get any worse than Bush.

I don't think a Clinton-Obama ticket would be a good idea because when you choose a VP you want them to compliment you. They have strengths where you have weaknesses. I think both Clinton and Obama have strenths and weaknesses in the same areas.

Clinton's campaign would be strengthened by having Obama as a VP, while Obama would surely lose with Clinton as his.

I can not believe that on Tuesday the moment of truth for this country will be upon us. I am hoping that this country chooses hope over fear, unity over divisiveness, and love over hate. This election is the most important election ever. I have already early voted for Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
My American Prayer is for Barack and Joe to become the next President and Vice-President of this country on Tuesday, November 4th. I believe that this country is hungry for change and ready for a new kind of politics that actually fights for the middle-class. There has been a lot that has been said about Barack Obama from both sides of the aisle which I have turned my stomach. I don't think I have ever felt more like a foreigner in my own country until this election year.
Barack comes from humble means, has worked hard his entire life, but because of that he gets branded an 'elitist' and 'foreign' because of his name and background. It's really a damn shame that he has been treated this way. The hateful comments have been over the top and downright disgusting. This election cycle has been an eye-opener for me in so many ways. I am proud to have cast my ballot for Barack and I believe he will be an excellent President.

I've been watching the US Election and some of the news in recent times. I have to say that I'm shocked by the state of the US government. I definitely believe the US needs change but I doubt either candidate will be able to deliver what the country needs. Both candidates bring something to the table that is needed, but not to the extent that is needed. Why is it that the US is in such a mess but Canada seems to be quite stable? I think there needs to be some thought about this.
This election has surprised me with some of the words from the American public. Some of the comments about Obama are pretty shocking and naive. Some of the stuff has been absolutely crazy. I think this election has gotten pretty ugly, I never have seen anything like this from Canadian elections. I think the US is country divided but they don't need to be. The US needs change, I just hope whoever is president will bring positive change.

Hey Shavon! I think the last time I talked with you on the phone was during the primary season, and as usual I barely got a word in! ;D But it was beautiful to hear your enthusiasm for this upcoming election, and I'm very encouraged by that. I told you then and I'll tell you now: I think you are the best spokesperson I know for Barack Obama. Hey, I'll give you a call sometime later in the week (after the election results), okay? It will be great to hear your beautiful voice in all its glory! I promise not to cut into any of your "talk" time! ;D You can just go girl!

Hey, Mark! I've missed talking to you too! I haven't forgotten about you, I've just been really busy. I am exciting about this election, and especially excited about the person who I hope will become President on the 4th. There's been a lot of crap that has been said about Barack that has made me cry. I don't think I have ever cried so much over a person. And of course, you can call me. I have been sick as of late. The other day I coughed so hard that I cracked a rib!....lol I had no idea that a person could cough so hard that a rib could be cracked! The doctor at the emergency room gave me a great prescription for cough syrup and while I was getting checked out in the emergency room I was given vicoden(sp?) for the pain of the cracked rib. I know that some people say vicoden makes them loopy, but I was just fine, so apparently I am crazy even without the vicoden!...lol We will certainly talk soon and here's to Tuesday being Barack's night and to keeping Pennsylvania B L U E! XOXO Hey Shavon! I've just come down with a whopper of some kind of flu and haven't been feeling well at all myself. It came on suddenly and took me by surprise. I do hope that you are feeling much better now. Just knowing that I have a phone convrsation with you to look forward to cheers me, and perhaps that's just the remedy I need for getting well. I'm sure your enthusiasm and beautiful voice (and non-stop chattering ;D) will do the trick! I've missed you, dear friend. I'll call on either Wednesday or Thursday....
