The album is anticipated to be released later this year. I heard that she had finished the recording part of the album.

Thanks Ocelot! I see that she no longer has a label with Columbia in the USA and the link has been removed from her official website.
Why do all these talented artists get spurned by these labels?

From the Herald in Australia:
DELTA Goodrem's comeback album is drawing closer to being released. The London-based singer has been quietly working on her third album for the past couple of years and word is that it's nearing completion. Goodrem is filming the video, for what will be the first single to be released from that album, in LA next month. She is expected to return to Australia in late August to continue to work on her album and promote the single. Goodrem has been missing on the music front since releasing the Commonwealth Games anthem Together We Are One in March last year. She is enjoying domestic bliss in London with boyfriend Brian McFadden.

DELTA Goodrem is preparing for her pop comeback feeling happier - and sexier - than ever.
Goodrem filmed the video for her new single, In This Life, in LA on Friday.
"I've been away for so long I'm really excited by it all," Goodrem said yesterday.
"I'm more than ready to start this whole world again. It took me a second to get back into gear because I haven't made a video for so long, but it felt better than ever."
Insiders say the video is the sexiest Goodrem has made to date, with the singer sporting a Brigitte Bardot look in several scenes.
"I guess that's what happens when you grow up and develop your own sense of style," Goodrem said.
The single is the first taste of Goodrem's third album, due out later this year - her first new album since 2004.
In This Life will be premiered on Australian radio on August 28, and will be in record stores 17 days later.
The singer, 22, said her time away from the pop charts - and Australia - was vital.
"It's the best thing I could have possibly done," Goodrem said.
"Not just because I was worried that people were sick of me, but there's a ball that starts rolling that just runs out of control.
"It became too much. I needed to find a really happy place again. I got tired. I got stale with things."
Goodrem released her second album, 2004's Mistaken Identity a year after her million-selling debut Innocent Eyes and while still recovering from her battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Towards the end of promoting the second album she started to operate on autopilot.
"I was going through the motions a little bit," she said.
"I felt I came back rather quickly from being ill and didn't give myself the time to reflect.
"I wasn't letting me be me in interviews. I wasn't relaxing.
"The second album was emotionally exhausting and my life felt like it had become very serious at a very young age. Now I'm having fun. I'm the same girl but I've learnt a lot. I've grown. I'm a little older."
During her time off the pop radar Goodrem grew closer to boyfriend Brian McFadden.
Their relationship started in controversy - McFadden having just split with the mother of his two children - but they remained a couple for almost three years, even buying a house together in London.
The pair have written the bulk of Goodrem's third album together.
McFadden also helped Goodrem through some tough times, including the end of her parents' marriage and her mother Lea standing down as her manager.
"I became an adult. I knew who I was as a girl but I had to find who I was as a woman. I'm very settled in my life.
"I have a great team around me, a great personal life.
"It's a really happy album. For a while I was writing songs for this album I didn't want to talk about things, so I didn't want to write about them either.
"I had to get over a couple of things. My parents divorced, there was a lot going on. But now I truly am inspired again. I feel regenerated. I feel I've got my energy back."
In This Life has a more guitar-driven vibe and updates Goodrem's sound with the help of hit US producer John Shanks (Take That, Bon Jovi, Ashlee Simpson).
"I'm not worried any more about changing people's view of me," Goodrem said.
"I've always been who I am. But hopefully with a new sound, it's very fresh, people will be able to accept I've grown and I've moved on.
"It's been a wonderful journey but it's completely new now. I'm a little bit older, I'm free and happy, doing music I really love again.
"I'm waking up like it's Christmas to go to a video shoot. Last time around there'd been so much craziness I had kind of lost that. The last record was really dark.
"On this album there's songs like God Laughs and Believe Again - I was in a really happy place writing them and I think people will feel that."
Goodrem returns to Australia today to start promoting her album and is planning a tour for 2008.

From everything I've heard it will be, but there hasn't been anything confirmed. When they cancelled the "Born to Try" album release they said that they would wait till they had a full album of new material, so it should be released in the US.

Delta gets serious about singing career Monday August 13, 2007 By ninemsn staff
Delta Goodrem has shed the girl-next-door wardrobe and sexed herself up in time for the release of her comeback single In This Life.
The former Neighbours star told The Daily Telegraph her inspiration was her lover Brian McFadden, who refuelled her passion for singing and songwriting.
"I have had my space away from people to deal with my personal demons and feelings. Now I've moved on and I don't think about it," Goodrem told The Daily Telegraph.
"When my parents divorced, I never knew we would all end up in the places we have but I have to accept change and I'm ready to start again.
"This last couple of years I've grown a lot, I've travelled the world a lot on my own and I am much wiser and more capable to handle the pressures."
Goodrem's new single follows her journey from innocent Neighbours newcomer to pop-star songstress to sophisticated lady.
She has used her time out to deal with several tumultuous events in her life including her recovery from cancer, her parents' divorce and the media speculation that bubbled when she and McFadden announced they were an item.
"I have faltered, I have stumbled, I have found my feet again, I've been angry I've been shaken, Found a new place to begin," she sings.
Goodrem said she made it her mission to create a positive album.
"Being independent and having stability in my life made me feel I could enjoy this next chapter so much more," she said.
"I feel like a completely new artist."
Her single hits the airwaves on August 28 and is released in stores on September 15.

Hey! Great article, Bev! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Let me just say that I believe a woman is the most beautiful of all God's creation. I have absolutely no problem with a woman being sexy, or revealing her beautiful feminine qualities.
That said, I do believe that a woman's sexuality can be misplaced. So can a man's. If it is done in the right context, it is very beautiful. If it is not done in the right context, it can be very unattractive.
Furthermore, this sexyness that Delta is moving towards will truly reveal whether or not she has indeed grown up. Again, if she does it in the right context, it will be a real sign of maturity. If not, it will only be another example of someone giving in to the temptation that so many of us fall prey to.
Please do not think that I am being critical or judgemental of Delta. I am not. I am eagerly awaiting her new release and hope for some great music from her. I'm truly cheering for her, and want her to succeed. We all have our vices.....a pretty lady is easily the greatest of mine! One glance at a good looking woman and my heart beats rapidly and I feel as if I can do a backflip!
But nothing beats a woman who knows who she is and wears herself well.....

Delta Goodrem unleashes her sex kittenBy Kathy McCabe August 13, 2007 07:50am Article from: Font size: + - Send this article: Print Email DELTA Goodrem's love for singer songwriter Brian McFadden has refuelled her passion for music and inspired her comeback single, In This Life.
The award-winning Australian artist said she took time out from music to deal with the personal dramas of the past couple of years, including her recovery from cancer, her parents' divorce and the vicious accusations made by the British press after she and McFadden became an item. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Life in pictures: Delta through the years » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 22-year-old songwriter was determined to return to being the positive and free-spirited artist who exploded on to the charts and airwaves with her debut album, Innocent Eyes.
"I have had my space away from people to deal with my personal demons and feelings. Now I've moved on and I don't think about it," Goodrem said.
"When my parents divorced, I never knew we would all end up in the places we have but I have to accept change and I'm ready to start again.
"This last couple of years I've grown a lot, I've travelled the world a lot on my own and I am much wiser and more capable to handle the pressures."
In This Life charts Goodrem's journey from a wide-eyed teen to the cosmopolitan woman who now shares her life with McFadden in London.
"I have faltered, I have stumbled, I have found my feet again, I've been angry I've been shaken, Found a new place to begin," she sings.
Speaking from the set of the song's video shoot in LA, Goodrem said she was emotionally exhausted by the time she finished touring her second album, Mistaken Identity, which was written in the aftermath of her battle with Hodgkins lymphoma.
"I went on a mission to make a really positive album again. Being independent and having stability in my life made me feel I could enjoy this next chapter so much more," she said. "I feel like a completely new artist."
While In This Life is undoubtedly a Delta Goodrem song, it unveils a more sexy and mature sound for the artist who dominated the Australian airwaves after the release of her debut single, Born To Try.
The single will hit the airwaves on August 28 and is released officially on September 15.
Goodrem, who is in Australia this week to visit family and begin the long road to re-establishing her career, said winning back her Australian fans is her priority.
