Here's a bit of an interview that Natasha did.
After Europe, is your goal to conqueer the US ?
People often confuse singing in English with having a career in the US. It's certain that I will sing in English one day. A part of my family is anglophone, and I would very much like for them to understand what I'm singing. But a career in the States, it's great -it's very glamour, it's true- but I don't know if I would like that.

Thank you for sharing that information, Leona. I have just watched "Le Train Des Enfoires" for the third time. Natasha St- Pier is among the many fine artists who make up an incredible production of music! Now, I share this for a reason. Having watched it, I have come to the conclusion that it is for the best that these great and talented artists are not becoming successful in the United States! When you see this dvd (and you will because I am having a copy made for both you and Shavon) you will see a wonderful appreciation for music and musical style that simply is not found in the USA. And while I would love it if some of these artists would release albums in the English language so that I could understand what they are singing, I cannot say that I would want them to do what it would take to become a success here. The industry here is a stranglehold on musical talent and musical style. What I noticed on the "Le Train Des Enfoires" was a sincere love for music in all of the performances. There was so much talent on that stage, and yet no competition between anyone. Instead, each artist seemed committed to the music, and was willing to compliment the other artist to get the best out of it. That does not happen all that often in the USA. Usually when you get a bunch of artists together on the same stage here it becomes one artist trying to outdo the other! Natasha is a wonderful artist, and deserving of success wherever she goes. But I am afraid that 'success' here right now for her would in some way mean 'dumbing-down' not only her music, but also her musical style, not to mention her as a person. It just wouldn't be worth it. I only hope that Natasha continues to make the best possible music she can, because it is truly a blessing. I hope I am not sounding too negative about the USA. I love America! But in this regard I am sad to say that we are very below standard in my opinion.
