Okay, everyone! For July, Coenraad has suggested that we all do reviews of Lara Fabian's English Debut album. Again, reviews will be due on the 15th of this month to allow time for discussion. Get out your English Debut of Lara everyone! Write down those thoughts! , Mark

I'm really looking forward to this one. There is very much to say about this album.

I will be working on my review soon (when I have time). Are we going to include the bonus tracks and b-sides too?

Leona, go ahead and include them if you like. I am just going to include the regular album tracks in my review, but I think that your observations on the added material would highly promote them to the rest of us!

Hey Leona, great idea, thanks. What's the b-sides, the Spanish songs? Sorry for sounding so dumb, but I've got no idea what it is.

Hey guys, sorry for not posting my review on time, too much is happening at this time. I had to do urgent repairs (that I can't really afford at this time) to my car on Saturday, after that I got ill and I was in bed until today. I'm feeling a bit better now and will hopefully return to work tomorrow. My career is really taking up all of my time and energy so that I don't have any time or energy left for the things I really love to do, one of them is contributing to this forum, it is really frustrating. I think Leona and Shavon will understrand the frustrations when your creativity gets limited by other things in life. I get all these ideas for my website and ideas for articles but all at the wrong times, when I'm at work or when I'm not at home, it is not always possible to write them down in order to remember them later and it is because of this that great ideas get lost and I end up being being unsatisfied with my work because they are not always the way I wanted them to be. I'm a huge perfectionist and it is not always a good thing to be one, because it eats you up from the inside. Lara's English debut is one of my favourites and there is so much I want to say about this one. I'm not going to let this opportunity fly by, so I'll eventually post my review. I can't rush this review, it has to be perfect and contains everything I want to say about this album (that is just the writer in me . So don't let me keep you from discussing the album, go ahead and don't wait for me. Oh the first one to read this, please suggest another song for the lyrical game. I will take part in the discussions once I've regained some order in my life. I hope you will all understand. Thanks.

Coenraad, I understand completely. You have things to do. We all have things to do. Take your time. Do what you need to do.

Coenraad,
I know how much this album means to you and how important it is that you can express it 'perfectly' in the way that you want to. Please know that we all understand your situation and that there is no pressure here to hurry in your review. We'll wait as long as it takes!
I'm sorry to hear that so many things are happening all at once for you. I'm hoping it all turns out well in the end, and that you are feeling better by now.
Shavon is right, we all have things to do, so it is completely understandable!
Know these two things, though, in all of your busyness:
You may not have noticed, but Paula posted some fascinating photos of her trip to Italy that I think will cheer you! They are absolutely amazing! Have a look when you get the chance. They are posted in the "Off Topic" board under "Italia" and I know that you will love them!
Also, know that you are truly missed in your absence. I understand how important it is to be 'perfect' in your reviews of Lara's albums, but just a little 'hello' from time to time when possible would be nice! If not, it is understandable. But know that you are thought of even when you can't make it here to post!
God bless! Mark

Man it gives me that fuzzy feeling in my heart when I read your replies, your absolute understanding and support for what I'm going through at the moment. You are all really a great bunch of friends. And I will tell you all you are great time after time again, because you deserve it, all of you.
Yes I'm almost up to full health again, Paula that videos you sent me were great to watch while I was sick in bed, you have really sent me a priceless gift, there is a lot I want to say about them but more of that later.
I can say that I got most of my problems under control and that in only one day! God has heard my prayers and I believe your prayers for me too.
I even got some work done at my website. Apparently there was a security threat that I had to fix and move some of the data I want to use for a rating system to a database table in SQL, so I had to teach myself SQL in less than a day to get the problem fixed. I was really amazed about how easy it went (really another prayer that must have been heard because I have no previous experience with SQL) and I'm really impressed with the results, using MySQL made the job so much easier and made the website that much more effective, it would have made life so much easier if I knew I had to use SQL from the start. Wait I'm boring you all now with a bunch of technical stuff.
Paula I took a peek at some of the pics you posted and now I can see why Lara loves Italy so much, it is such an amazing historical place but still so modern.
Well it is 01:00 am (I must really try to cut back on the hours I work in a day and get more rest). The two days in bed just showed me how much spirit you can regain when you are fully rested (so much that I started to hate lying in bed and you will almost never hear me say that :-))
